Cons: It was hot night, when we arrived to our room, the aircoditioning was not working, we came back to the reception, there was nobody. The room service told us, that our room has the aircon broken, but they are full and we cannot change the room. When we wanted to cancel the room, we couldnt, coz the receptionist left for fryday party. In the morning we asked for some sort of compensation, but the new receptionist was clearly scared to talk to the manager, coz she was affraid of consequences to her job. She wanted us to pay the full price. At the end she had to call the manager twice to convince her of some sort of compensation. We subsequently heard that the aircon doesnt work for longer time and the guests ask frequently for refunds. This was not mentioned anywhere, not even on the booking its self. This is not a 5star level of costumer service, thats why I rate so low.

Cons: We wanted to eat at the fine dining restaurant in the hotel itself. The menu was very meat oriented (steak all over - last we want to see coming from the US) and not a lot of choices - no soup, no salad, only few side options. We wanted something local like a simple Schnitzel or something veal with a nice appetizer to share. Like a soup and salad. Appetizers were too heavy and sounded like a main dish. Keep it simple - it's the best. I'm sure the Schnitzel would have been fantastic given the hotel appearance and the super breakfast.... We had an aperitivo at the hotel bar. The atmosphere wasn't like the rest of the hotel. Rather cold and more like a breakfast coffee place or ice cream shop. Would have loved the cozy warm atmosphere from the rest of the hotel in this bar....too bright, too cold.

Cons: Everything would be otherwise fine with our stay here, if it weren't for the loads of mosquitoes that kept us awake on both nights. Although the windows were closed and also had insect nets, our room was full of them. Managed to kill over 30, but they kept appearing. Unfortunately this ruined our stay, so I can't recommend this place.

Cons: Unfortunately, there was a problem with the air-con in the room. The room was not always warm and a few times it got really cold especially at night. We did refer the problem to the owners but still it was the same issue. Also, few things were missing from the breakfast area and we did not have a large variety except from the the nice variety of dairy products and cold cuts ( as I mentioned above) which they provide us every day. At last, we had a bit of a problem with the communication since the owners did not speak English in order to address any particular issue. Overall experience though was excellent and we thank them for everything!

There is no shops or restaurance nearby, so take a food with. There are some attractons for the children, what was great for us.

Cons: The staff was very impolite and even annoyed by our presence. There was a toddler of 3 years old with us and the hotel was trying to make us pay for a boy, even though normally you pay for a double room and a kid goes "for free" because he's sleeping on the same bed. Well, here they told us "But we have to make you pay something for a child at least". Then the staff also suggested us to choose a cheaper hotel and the restaurant about which we were asking they said:: "It might be too expensive for you". Very very impolite!

Cons: The place is too expensive for what it offerts. Is very far from citycenter, close to the mainroad and you can here the cars during the night. The dtaff doesnt speak english, you cant even ask for little info. The WI-FI doesnt work. In the bathroom there is a fan that starts working even if you dont use the shower, only turn on the light and it makes a lot of noise for 15 minutes. In the morning we had a breakfast with very few alternative, no vegetables left even if there was only one other couple in the breakfast place. I wouldnt recommend the place. It is far tooooo expensive for what you get!

Our event and family suites, newly renovated in May 2015, are about 60 m² in size and consist of two separate double rooms on two floors each with a bathroom, separate WC and a private flat-screen TV. They are connected via a common anteroom. The family suite can be booked for 2 persons as 2 single rooms. Pros: very nice schlosshotel, located just few mins by foot from the lake. Hotel room is decorated with exquisite vintage furnitures but yet very modern bath room facilities. We had a suit on the 3rd floor which contains two bedrooms linked by a staircase. It really has the feeling that you are actually living in the palace in its old days. Breakfast was splendid and the personals very friendly and helpful!

Our event and family suites, newly renovated in May 2015, are about 60 m² in size and consist of two separate double rooms on two floors each with a bathroom, separate WC and a private flat-screen TV.
