The Iron Horse is a great facility, unfortunately currently being let down by a lack of qualified, experienced staff. I understand some of that is due to challenges with ramping up staffing levels post-pandemic, but I can assure you the prices do not reflect the lack of service. Pros (+) My wife and I stayed at the Iron Horse Hotel for a short weekend getaway from Chicago. We loved the hotel. The food at Smyth was great; don't miss the goat cheese appetizer and pork belly. Pros (+) I stay in hotels all over the country and this place was one of a kind. If you like motorcycles, staying here is a no brainer. You're a short walk away from the HD Museum and the feel and decor of the hotel has a rugged-modern vibe. I didn't get a chance to hang out at the bar but it looked like like a upbeat scene. Their signature restaurant was excellent.
