Fun staycation
The pool was heated which was nice as we visited in December. The pool was definitely a highlight of our stay. It was great that we had lounge chairs reserved at the beach with towels. Complimentary water and sunblock poolside which was very helpful. Comfy bed and cozy room. Free wine and sangria which was fun and a hammock! The customer service was the most impressive part of this hotel. The staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate our every need.
The lounge chairs at the pool were pretty basic and some were broken. It was a little hard finding a place to sit at the pool as the hotel staff allowed guests to reserve their lounge chairs even if they left for the beach for several hours. Many people who got to the pool too late, including myself (around 10:30am) got stuck in the shady spots or with the broken chairs. Additionally, although the rooms were comfortable the hotel is very old and the walls paper thin. I would suggest bringing ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. We could hear the people upstairs walking around and even worse the TV that was blasting on the other side of the wall that our bed was up against.
The cuisine at the restaurants was delicious. The pool was beautiful and the beach access a plus. The rooms were well decorated and the staff friendly. The location was also great.
The rooms were small and there were not black out curtains. So, between the "thin walls" (hearing the cleaning staff banging around in the morning) and the light coming into our room, it was hard to sleep much past 7am. The price for drinks was extremely high and I did not appreciate having 19% added for gratuity before I even had a chance to evaluate the service.
Intimate atmosphere and great value
Staff was outstanding - particularly te front desk team!
Restaurant menu was limited and the food was below par.
The bartender was extremely informative, professional and mad very good drinks. Happy hour was nice.
The elevator broke and we were stuck for 15 minutes. Also the towel rack in the bathroom broke, however it was promptly replaced. I was incorrectly charged for room flip flops, it was also promptly corrected.
Great place to stay!
The service was great! The staff made our stay fun and carefree. Clean, updated rooms. Fun atmosphere and a great location. Highly recommended.
Price and location
Small elevator
Very nice pool. Hotel staff was friendly.
Booking.com price was different that what I was charged at hotel. Hotel charged about 30 bucks more a night.
Location
Room size was extremely small and the maid service was pretty slow--I had to ask twice to get the room cleaned. We checked out four days early and changed hotels.
The Hotel staff support
Nothing
Nothing. We booked 6 nights, but leaved the hotel immediatly the next morning.
All! Awful reception/blankets on the receptiontable; painting works; looked like a caserne! Old, bad smelling;
