Some how they kept my 100$ security deposit cause of some expenses that they made up didn’t even eat in the hotel
wasn't served breakfast. rude waiters
where do we start? 1. Front Office Manager never answers calls - no matter how urgent 2. No one answers the phone when a guest calls - you have to schlepp downstairs to the front deks and wait in line with a load of folks equally upset 3.the worst customer service ever. I forgot something in my room - think anyone cares?
It used to be the best
The rooms are big and comfortable. The hotel overall is very good looking.
They are short on staff and need a better administration of the amenities. The hotel "coffee area" is overpriced. They need to organize their valet and bellmen, i waited more than an hour for them to bring my car to the front, thank God i was early for my flight!
Just okay
Rooms were nice and clean
Poor customer service, staff didn’t seem to care much about requests that were made and executing in a timely fashion. Only limited elevators to cater to all the floors in the hotel which always meant a wait ! Only one restaurant on site so not much options in terms of on site dining ! You are much better off staying at the Fountain Bleu !!
Really good, but missing that something extra
We had a great time. The pool and Beach facilities and services are amazing. Views from the beachfront rooms and the balcony were breathtaking. Everything was fine and the staff were good - polite and attentive.
For the price, we were expecting luxury and thoughtfulness. It takes way too long for valet to bring your car (15-20 mins). The wait for an elevator can be 10 mins. You can't walk to any restaurants or shopping. The rooms are just a little bit less than perfectly clean. The beds are full size or king - not queen, so be sure of what you are getting at booking.
Caution wrong hotel!!!
Now they have 2 grand beach hotel both in collins ave one is in surfiside the other is 60blocks down in miamia beach very very misleading i booked the wrong one they would not accept it in the other And wouldnt fully refund my reservacion
Ok, but staff was bad and hotel was dirty. good va
Location was good. Room was good.
Rooms had dirty floor. Moldy bathroom ceiling. The iron made an iron stain in my clothes. I tried calling manager several times, no answer and no call back even after leaving a few messages.
Language Barrier
The Help wa exotic
The Help was exotic. The language barrier was hard to overcome. We spent 2 hours by the front desk upon arrival. They lost our reservation. We had a terrible experience. But the dis comp us on alcoholic drink
Excellent value for Miami Beach
Great location, right on the beach, nice big bright rooms, comfortable need and sofa in the room, 2 huge TV in room, heated pool for chilly days, non heated pool for hot days. Really family friendly, delicious breakfast, Good kids menu.
The pillows are way too big and stiff.
Amazing property
The Grand Beach had it all, great service, great food, great beach, great location. Beautiful huge room with everything I needed in great condition and so clean, I can still feel the white carpet on my bare feet.
It rained a little, other than that , perfect, I would go there again, or everytime I went to Miami beach.
4 night stay. I would come back
The rooms were clean, it's a 4:00 check in but I got to the hotel at 11:00am and they had one ready and had no problem getting us in the room. I had the partial ocean view which was nice. Beds were comfortable. The pool was nice the access to the beach was convenient.
I didn't like the fact that as much as you pay to stay that nothing was complementary. The food and drinks were overly expensive but you're in Miami everything will be expensive. No microwave in the hotel at all. I didn't care for the $100/per night deposit but they refund it fairly quickly after your stay if nothing is wrong with your room. The resort fees are deducted the last day of your stay. The women's lobby bathroom always smelled. The elevators were slow. One time getting on I was almost stuck in one had it not been for someone prying the doors open.
The location of the property was awesome.
Food options were limited and expensive.
Very nice comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. Very nice pools and beach access. Frriendly staff.
Breakfast could get a little bit crowded, but nothing serious. Wifi didn't work but was solved by connecting by wire.
the staff was lovely! peaceful stay, loved all the pools and being right there on the beach , comfy bed, lots of fluffy pillows...
the toilet had to be 'jiggled' to work properly, carpet was a bit worn ....suppose the only other complaint is that wish we could of stayed longer?!?!?!??!?!!?
Great rooms, friendly staff, nice restaurant next to the pool. hotel is on the north beach, about 10 min from the noisy south beach.
Charge 30$ for 2 beach beds and umbrella, not cool.
I like the price , the elegance, the rooms the beach and the pool area. I was pleasantly surprise very comfortable
quiet and comfortable seaside hotel
restaurant service needs improvement
Was cool
Nothing
Great rooms. Restaurant has good food but very expensive.
One lady (Julia) had an opinion about our english accent. Told another staff member standing next to her that it is irritating to listen to.I think she is rude.
The rooms are well designed and very comfortable. Facilities such as the gym are well thought out.
There is quite a distance to the Deco part of south beach; there are few other facilities available in the area around the hotel.
Loved the ocean view room, beautiful. The bed was so comfortable.
I did not like the fact that they authorised total amount for 7 nights twice. Taking into account that my card is debit I was not able to use my money. Noone could help me to solve this problem. Staff was not very friendly. And finally thay want to add 700 to my final check.
