We did not have a breakfast.
We have no complains. For over all
The staff are always patient and willing to help
Staff speaks no English at all, all of them. We relied on Google translate for all communication. Really, really noisy at night and in the morning. You can hear everything clearly from every direction - your neighbors, the street, and even the level above you. My door’s lock broke down several times. Once it couldn’t be opened with any cards, so they have to take out the machine and reprogram it. Following that incident, that second day I came back finding the lock wouldn’t lock at all and yo didn’t need to card to open it. I’m basically appalled to find it a 4 stars hotel. I suppose if you want basic safety and comfort in Mexico City, you need to shoot for a review score of beyond 9.
Small rooms, staff indifferent
Staff Comfort Convenience Clean Safe
The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. The weekends saw a lovely art market appear in the park across the street. Also on the weekend there is a neighborhood outdoor market 1 block down from the entrance of the hotel.
The hotel is quite far from any metro station. I had to take a taxi or Uber to get anywhere of interest. I am American and speak elementary Spanish, most all of the staff at this hotel only speak English which can be a problem for many tourists.
