The food was great. I think that is a highlight, and the service especially from the restaurant staff superb.
I wish you had a steam room!
The attention was great, all the workers are very kind, they help a lot giving you a very accurate information about places and food.
everything was awesome!
Our room was a bit unconventional with interior facing window (looking out on corridor and atrium with swimming pool (rather than street) but with nice design touches.
Bathroom sliding door handle pinches on fingers.
It is well located
The hotel sells itself as a "minimalist boutique" while in reality there are motels which provide better facilities bot a cheaper tariff. I'd say Carlota is a very expensive motel
For the price we paid ($ USD $100 / night incl tax) it was fine. Staff were great, cocktails by the pool were great, coffee was surprisingly good. The location was fine. It’s a little sterile, but a 10 minute walk later and you’re right into Roma Nte and a little further to Condesa.
The room was very nice, though the concrete walls and low ceiling made it feel like a prison cell. The window shades did not shut out the hallway light. We hung a towel over the shades to fix it.
With a stay at Hotel Carlota in Mexico City (Reforma), you'll be steps from Paseo de la Reforma and 7 minutes by foot from U.S. Embassy. Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage.
