The room was comfortable and of a decent size, the property was well maintained and fairly stylish for the price. The location (near the bus station for a morning start the next day - only 2 easy blocks walk) was great and the area was better than expected. 'Near the bus station' can be a bit dodgy in some cities but although not a posh area it was un-threatening, with lots of great street food options and some shops nearby. Wouldn't walk around at night though.
The wifi did not reach our room. The restaurant - one of the selling points since there are only street food options nearby and nothing at dinner time - was terrible.
Breakfast buffet was nice, good variety, great waiter, superior coffee
Towels were rather coarse and bathroom had no towel rods
Sadly they did not have hot water in the shower for me and kept saying they were going to come up but I ended after an hour and 2 calls on going down to the desk. They offered me another room that had hot water. The wifi would come and go in the rooms though he said wifi was better on the top floor but my room they gave me was on the bottom. You might be in trouble if you speak no Spanish at all. Most of the staff was very helpful but the younger man at the main desk was not very friendly but all of the other staff and the older desk man were. FYI. They dont have even one English speaking tv channel. It is very close to the metro station and bus station and it’s clean.
- Location is good (close to Autobuses del Norte). - Storage room.
There is no AC in the room, and too noisy if you open the window
Staff was great!!
