Pros: This little B&B is a dream! Clean and secure, they obviously take great pride in their property and their guests’ need. The king size bed was comfortable and the breakfast was superb. We’re we to visit lovely Mendoza again, this would be our go-to place!

Cons: Host was not interested in me at all. I would not recommended this place for single independent travellers. I thought it was going to be a comfortable b&b. It was more of a small hotel so had none of the charm that I was hoping to find and none of the advantages of a big hotel. I would not stay there again.

Pros: Jorge and Gladys are amazing hosts. They were also so kind and helpful with anything we needed. I personally felt very welcomed and comfortable at their B&B. The room we stayed in was spacious and had a nice bathroom. We were able to book a wine tasting excursion and other tours through them. I would highly recommend doing the wine tasting tour as it is more affordable than most other private drivers out there. The location is quiet and is only a couple of blocks for an amazing strip of road that has restaurants and shops that are well worth exploring. I would definitely stay again!

Pros: Our hosts were extremely hospitable and friendly. Our room was large and elegant with a very comfortable bed. Jorge spoke English and his daughter, Belen took us on a fantastic private wine tour over two days. Belen really knows her Mendoza wines and spoke excellent English. If you are planning to visit Mendoza to have a great wine experience you must stay at this B&B!!

Pros: Jorge and his wilde gave us a really warm welcome. We arrived early and we could do an early check-in. The breakfast is really good with home-Made jelly and jam. Jorge is really helpfull with providing information about wine tours. We had the best time and felt really at home. The room was spotless and very clean and airconditioning was great. Location is also nice because you’re close to street with all the bars and restaurants. Thanks for the great stay!!!

Pros: our stay was WONDERFUL! from the moment we got to 816, it felt like home. Our hosts were so incredible and welcoming and made us feel completely at home, like we were family. We loved walking around the area and our room was super comfortable and cozy. We would highly recommend this property – – the breakfast every morning was served with such care and it was delicious! We can’t wait to visit again someday—Fantastic experience

Cons: When we arrived we were not sure if we were at the right location, there is no sign on the front of the house. We were not given a key to the gate to come in or out of the b&b.

Cons: Not to be critical, I do not know what they normally serve for breakfast in Argentina but I got a little tired of the breakfast. If they would rotate what they served it would be notably better.

Cons: The exchange rate! Between when we booked and when we paid the Argentine Peso got stronger against the USD. Has nothing to do with the property, just the economic environment.

When we were unable to pick up a WIFI signal in our room, she moved us to another, upscale room at no extra charge. Our room was beautiful, with balcony overlooking the bougainvillea filled pergola. The location was perfect, with restaurants just around the corner and the tram stop 2 blocks away. Virginia was an attentive and intuitive host!

Cons: Communication with the host was very difficult at times (English language is a big problem). Upon arrival we didn’t receive any tips or recommendations for the area (we were helped by other friendly hostels in the neighborhood). Host isn’t around either to ask questions. Upon departure we were woken up by the host by knocking our door for no reason (just to check on us, bit strange). No bin in the room, no coffee at breakfast.

Cons: This accommodation is basically a Airbnb property. Owner sends a message, (in Spanish) through WhatsApp with instructions and a video on how to pick-up keys to enter property. When we arrived, it had rained the night before, there was water from a roof leak all over the bedside table. Also a long black hair on the bedsheets. The room smelled musty and was in need of some maintenance on the wardrobe sliding doors. We asked for an alternate room, but the room shown to us was in a worse state than our room, with dirt on the floor and on the bed pillows. Payment is cash only, Peso or USD. Breakfast is minimal and left in a fridge the night before. The room had no privacy with the room opposite right outside our only window.

Cons: Tight rooms, way too soft a double bed, no luggage facilities so I had to take my bags with me all day and staff had a really bad attitude. I don’t know why this place is rated highly?! When I so much as asked about leaving my bags I was immediately told I had to pay an extra half day charge. I woke up to several messages on my phone from the staff requesting that I tell them my exact checkout time as I’d slept late but it was before checkout time. On top of that bring your cash to pay. The exchange rate they offered me on card was horrible!!
