The excellent attention from the staff
Not keen on Moroccan food but must be tried.
The staff were extremely friendly and they even picked us up and dropped us off to the airport free of charge. The Riad was lovely and the roof terrace was perfect for relaxing after you had spent the day in the hustle and bustle of the city. We were really close to the main square too so it was easy to find restaurants and taxi’s. Our room was the smallest they had but I thought it was an ok size for 3 nights. We also got fresh towels and sheets everyday when the maid cleaned the room. The rooms do not have locks on the doors but it did not bother us as the Riad is very safe and there is always someone around. If you do not like this however you can take your own pad lock.
The breakfast was a bit boring with just croissants and Moroccan bread. The coffee was very good though. The en suite in our room was a wet room and I found it annoying having to keep watching the water so it didnt go into the bedroom.
excellent. great staff. great price. lovely hotel
no door to ensuite bathroom - just a curtain (fine for us as we're a couple but may not be ideal for all).
The staff at the Riad went out of their way to help us achieve everything that we wanted to do on our trip. The Riad itself is nicely decorated and it’s about a five minute walk away from Djemaa el-Fna, so very conveniently located. However, when we arrived we found it quite hard to navigate our way through the back alleys to the Riad. We were told that had we phoned on our arrival at the airport, they would have collected us – definitely worth doing first time round.
The service at the hotel was excellent. We were made so welcome by everyone. This extended to ensuring that we could find our way around Marrakech, and even escorting us and advising on shopping, bartering etc. The bedrooms were simple but very comfortable, making this a lovely "boutique" hotel.
Staff extremely helpful and friendly - excellent. Beautiful decor - an oasis in a bustling city
A little noisy if staying on ground floor
Lovely place, great staff always willing to help you. Our stay at Chalymar couldn't have been more satisfying.
I loved Riad Chalymar, it was very stylish considering the price, the staff were friendly and the pick up from airport and the fresh flowers brought to our room were nice touches, breakfast served on the roof terrace everything about it, living among the locals and not in a big brash hotel was the real Marrakech, a perfect choice for us.
excellant location to center of city but very quiet and relaxing within the riad..i had some wonderful naps there. staff is very kind and helpful. jean paul and zachery arranged a trip to sahara that was great
if there would be a lot of noisy people staying here, the rooms would not be noise proof because of the center atrium
The staff, the breakfasts, being able to have drinks on the roof terrace.
The internet connection was weak at best.
