6.3 Good
Pros: Nice building with history. Wide range of spa services and a very nice pool. The Suite was good size with well renovated bathroom.
Cons: Old bath robes and towels! Spa staff constantly telling us they close at 7pm. Seven pm? What a joke. They need to wake to year 2019.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Only few minutes walking to center .very pleasant staff, very helpful with everything. Highly recommended
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We treated ourself to a 2 night honeymoon package. We had 2 kids so we had to book 2 rooms. The staff were so nice from the time we arrived till we left. The dinner was very nice and the hotel is very clean and rooms were so beautiful. Beds were comfortable and my young boys felt like royalty ;)
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities and staff were the best I have ever experienced.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The property is old style but very nice, rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. It is a bit out of the town but short walk and compensates with amazing view and the notion of being in the woods. Staff is friendly and helpful, most speak decent English.
Cons: You have to pay separate and reserve as "private" the thermal zone (sauna, steam bath etc.). Never seen this elsewhere, so out of the "spa" center you are left with the pool and a small gym located around the entrance of the pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything in Esplanade Resort was perfect - the staff was friendly and helping, the room ( I have booked a family suite) was big and clean and the location was amazing - on the top of the city into a forest with an amazing view. Perfect for families- I was there with my wife and 2 kids. I would definitely visit the hotel again!
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Housekeeping is not up to the level of 5 star Hotel

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located on the main street of Mariansle Lazne, easy to get to by bus, taxi, or even on foot from the train station. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful: when we left a personal item in the room, they found it for us and sent it to our home address! We haven’t tried the pool / spa facilities, but the room was overall generous and good value for the low price.
Cons: The only downside: the room was not stacked with tea or coffee, even though there is a water boiler. The toilet and shower in our room were very tiny; this is probably due to an old building being converted to a hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location velice dobra a pestra snidane, byla jsem velice spokojena
Cons: did not like the check-in time, had to wait for my room
7.1 Good
Pros: Helpful and courteous staff. Huge size of the room. Location
Cons: Uncomfortable bed, tiny shower room, no fridge in the room
7.5 Good
Pros: Upon arrival we were met by a fantastic receptionist, who was friendly and really helpful explaining everything. He spoke at least 2 languages, and made us feel very welcome. We were luckily upgraded to a suite, which although unexpected was a nice surprise ... they'd made a small error regarding guests and available double rooms. From the outside, the building looks very old and attractive. Almost every window has a balcony, which looks great. The hotel itself is made up from 4 adjoining buildings which seem a little complicated to understand at first, but quite simply, choose the entrance with the receptionist desk. It is located at one end of a Main Street, close to many tourist attractions, and although some have said the 'Singing Fountain' to be too loud and disturbing, we found it to be 'not-so-loud' and actually a nice change to the norm, and reminded us that we were on holiday. There is no 'Parking Onsite', however you can unload your bags up to 30 minutes in front of the building. The pay-for parking, is located 5 minutes drive around the corner, and 2 minutes walk back to the hotel. Regarding car safety ... the car park is shared with the local Police, so it is safe.
Cons: Sadly the advertisement for this premises was/is still incorrect. It is 'not' a wellness hotel, and it is 'not' a Spa ... what it is however, is a Rehabilitation Hotel for the older generation. Day to day : Without going into too much detail as there were a couple of staff members who were friendly ... the guests however, sadly were not. With ages ranging from 60-90 they were just unacceptably rude. From funny looks as they walked by as we waited for the lift to arrive, to, not replying to our ‘good morning/good evening’ as we passed in the corridors, just looking past us and pretended we were not there. Food/Dining : I did compare one even buffet meal to 'ants around an animal', as the older guests were not waiting in a civilised line, but just pushing in front of each other and grabbing at the food as if it was to be never refilled. The food itself however also did not appeal to us as the 4-stars on the advert was not what appeared before us. School dinners would be a very close approximation ... before Jamie Oliver arrived. The Clinic : We were 'told' to attend a Doctors Appointment on the first day, and then we would be given our ‘set timetable’ of the weekly treatments we would be receiving. We asked about the appointment, and were told that ‘if we did not attend, we could not use ‘any’ of the facilities. The down side to this is … when on holiday we want to relax and do what we want, ie, walking / eating / sight seeing etc. If you have something that you want to do, but then have to be back in-time for a treatment, then you end up cancelling the thing you wanted to do … that’s not a holiday, that’s a rehabilitation clinic. This was a major issue for us, and in all honesty ended our stay here prematurely. The 1 week booking was shortened with the assistance of the reception staff and everything was sorted out with complete friendliness and understanding.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It has a great location. Staff was very friendly but what bothered me that everyone(staff) starts talking to me either in Russian or German. But otherwise all good
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Price. Breakfast was good.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely caring, enthusiastic and friendly. The bathrooms in hotel rooms were nicely and modernly furnished, with high-tech shower stalls.
Cons: Sometimes it was apparent that the staff lacks experience, profesionalism and good organization.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best hotel of Marianske Lazne! A true Chateau! Very chic !
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Unbelievably huge hall, corridors, restaurant,- built around 1900 for a lot of guests. Helpful, friendly staff! The recent renovation has centered their "theme" around an ancient "fairytale" resulting in our room being painted with strange faces on the walls and ceiling. Impressive handpainted artwork in what must be a lot of rooms! When we left we got a goodie bag! Next door was a park with miniatures of Czechian buildings.
Cons: Faces on walls a bit scary. Very tiny showerstall.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The quiet location, the staff and the service they provide actually everything was perfect
Cons: Everything was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. I highly recommend Presidential suite. It is the best choice and value for money. You may feel as King with Queen in own castle.
Cons: The only thing was slippery floors in room. There was danger to fall - may be was too much clean
8.8 Excellent

Cons: No complaints at all.

6.3 Good
Pros: Barista, central location
Cons: Additional charges for parking, quality of breakfast unsatisfactory, cleanliness, worn down facilities
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding service. Open space and pleasant entry. A nice welcome gift from the manager. Great location. Overall
Cons: Soap dispenser pump in shower needs to be replaced.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and attentive staff, they really made our stay comfortable and stress free. Great hotel location, secure parking and wide variety for breakfast.
Cons: It's an old building so a few squeaky doors and floors are expected.
6.0 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff, breakfast was excellent and the hotel is beautiful. You feel very welcome from the beginning of your stay and once more the staff was very nice and kind to help for any question.
Cons: Unfortunately our room was very noisy as windows were very old and not locking properly. We required a quiet room but it was not. With a more quiet room our rating would have been much better. For this reason we might try another hotel next time we visit Mariánské Lázně
4.2 Okay
Pros: The hotel is v old and not 4stars. Staff are not welcoming and not helpful. Facilities were closed like spa and massage. Food is not good.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: very friendly staff, very nice room with a big balcony, dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent for the reasonable price and good breakfast
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice hotel and friendly staff. Family friendly facility.
Cons: -
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was really good :) The staff and the breakfast specially! The 10% in Balneo made our wellness treatment fantastic!
Cons: The water in the shower was cold and then warm and then cold again. Very unpleasant!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very welcoming and helpful.
Cons: I believe breakfast is today one of the key experience you have in an hotel and I don't appreciate when the orange juice that is served is of poor quality which was unfortunately the case in this hotel.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location is really great, just "next door" to the main and longest trail, at the bottom of the forest and close to the ski area; the staff is welcoming, though of course they 'don't speak your language', but try to understand you. The place is definitely 100% clean! And the restaurant at the hotel, maybe not gourmet, but cooks quite well (comparing to other places of the resort).
Cons: I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get the room at the mezzanine as I have been expecting. Instead, for one person I got a twin bed, but it was ok. Breakfast is highly overestimated - buffet ok, but not better, you have to ask for hot dishes (porigge, eggs), but if you haven't read about it in the welcome book in your room, or haven't seen your neighbors eating something else, they don't come up to your table to suggest you anything. Moreover, you have to chase the girl at the restaurant to ask her for the food.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, friendly staff
Cons: No lift so if you have heavy bags, or problems with your knees or back and got a room in the second floor get ready to climb 35 curved steps. The only other thing that absolutely SHOCKED me is that their delicious breakfast does not include any type of coffee in it, you have to pay 4 euros per coffee extra (irrespective if you wanted filter coffee, espresso, cappuccino or a latte macchiato) I don’t understand the logic of this and neither did the 16 other guests having breakfast with me at the time. They really ought to correct this as unfortunately everyone who is a regular Traveller like me will never forget this and associate it with this hotel, which is a pity as there are sooo many other positives about this beautiful property and it’s friendly staff

Pros: Very peaceful location, breakfast area is beautiful, especially with outside patio surrounded by woods - very lovely and also practical, you can enjoy your breakfast in peace while your kids are running around in the playground. Flower arrangements around the hotel brings extra special feel!
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel and the facilities were clean. Our room was located in the attic. The staff was friendly and they spoke German.
Cons: Remote location, quite far away from the city center. The breakfast was just average.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel , helpful staff, high quality restaurant and very good breakfast.
Cons: The location of the hotel is not clear in booking.com
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast. Hotel in the woods and golf courses.
7.1 Good
Pros: Quiet hotel, since it is in the forest. Spa is available but unfortunately closes already at 8 pm.
Cons: Wifi was not working in my room. No one was at the reception. Calling the phone number of the reception will lead to the phone at the reception which is not occupied.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice receptionists and breakfast waiter. Beautiful view from our room.
Cons: No soap in pool showers, no towels there too.
7.5 Good
Pros: Perfect location
Cons: No parking, we had to park in the parking house for additional fee. At the time we were in Marianske Lazne, there was hot water outage. It would be ok if the stuff would tell us during check-in. It was not pleasant surprise in the night that water is cold.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location was perfect. Breakfast was OK.
Cons: Pool was quite small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, beautiful hotel, breakfast, balcony with a nice view.
Cons: Everything is perfect, except for parking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very god value for money. The hotel is right behind the The Colonade.
Cons: No own parking
1.0 Poor
Cons: I was very offended that I was not able to get any refund for the entire week that I booked.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location, beautiful view from the balcony
Cons: The rooms have no sound insolation, our neighbor was coughing all night and all morning. Breakfast so so. All parking spots were taken.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really lovely, going out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We would consider staying there again. One thing to point out is that the hotel restaurant serves meals for hotel guests only and lunch or dinner have to be booked in advance as half or full board.
Cons: The room we stayed at was lovely, however a couple of things should improve to match a 4-star hotel. The wallpaper on the wall did not look right as it was not positioned correctly, we wanted to charge up our phone but the electric socket did not work and we had to disconnect one of the bedside table lamps where the socket worked, the window curtain was not great as it could not not be drawn properly (it was an attic room) and it allowed too much light to come in at night (not great if you are not a good sleeper).
Top Hotel Agricola - Mariánské Lázně - Building

7.8 Good (713 reviews)

Featured amenities include limo/town car service, express check-in, and express check-out. A roundtrip airport shuttle and a train station pick-up service are provided for an additional charge.
7.1 Good
Pros: Room is very spacious. Location is excellent.
Cons: Building needs renovation, weak internet signal in the room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean comfortable rooms. Breakfast was good. Location close to grocery stores and walkable to everything downtown. Front receptionist Katerina was very helpful and accommodating to all our requests! Gratis cup of hot mulled wine when we arrived was a bonus! Had a crib in our room for baby and highchair provided at breakfast.
Cons: The robes and towels were frayed. For the price paid, these should not be used and need to be replaced immediately. We were also given only two towels in our room for three people. Pool receptionist told us we need to use our room towels for the pool as well. Room service didn't give any more new towels since ours were hanging to dry. Two towels used for three people for three nights for pool and shower did not exactly feel like a luxury experience. Understand the 'save water' conservation goal but pool towels should be provided and at least a towel per person.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Food and cleanness
Cons: Restaurant's staff were terrible
5.8 Okay
Pros: Good playground area and very well located.
Cons: Most of the personnel did not speak English. It was impossible to book a massage! The room was not tidied up every day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's the second time I stayed there, both times with my wife and our 5-year-old grandson. The breakfast offered a variety of food and was tasty, the staff was very friendly. The hotel if facing the forest with nice routes and mineral water sources. I find its swimming pool very good . On the opposite side within 5 minute walking distance there is a shopping area and PICCOLO - the best pizza in town . I rented a bike for the child, making an hour-long walk a non-issue. The double room had a lot of space.
Cons: Not a problem for me, but the hotel is situated in a former agricultural school buildings. There are no fancy lobbies. If we wanted to dance in the evening, we did it in the nearby hotel. The town center with major hotels and musical fountain is reachable by foot in 30-40 minutes.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The spacious room, very comfortable beds
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast OK, More space in the dining room coud be better. Good location. Day bar is missing.
Cons: Too many people - not much privacy in the dinning hall.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect! Clean rooms, kind personell, good food and breakfast. Also pool and sauna was good. Good value for the fair price. I can only recommend this hotel.

Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Event facilities at this hotel consist of a conference center and a meeting room. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
6.7 Good
Pros: Good location. Good beds.
Cons: Poor breakfast. Stressed and not organised staff at breakfast.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Staff were really not helpful especially at the reception where we had to wait for somebody for 20 min to be able to do the check out. No apologies from the staff when he finally turned back. Room was not clean and terribly warm under the rooftop. No fan neither air conditioning, almost 38c. Impossible to sleep. Breakfast were poor and uncleaned dishes. Staff not very friendly either. Would never recommend this hotel
6.7 Good
Pros: Good location, clean room.
Cons: Swimming pool, which was one of reasons why we choose this hotel, was out of order. We were not provided with any benefits/other place for swimming, we were offered to go to public pool instead. We were charged extra for resort tax, even though it was not stated in our booking confirmation, and receptionist was not able to explain us(IN CZECH, and we do speak Czech), what is this tax about. Cleaning lady was knocking on our door in the morning, even thought we had “do not disturb” paper on our door. Last day of our staying there we “met” a bug in one of breakfast plates.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We were warmly greeted by a friendly Receptionist and promptly checked in. We realised the booked room was not really what we expected and asked for a room change. This was done easily and without delays. Our new room was pretty spacious, quiet, clean, in a renovated part of the hotel with a minibar and a tea/coffee making facilities. We were glad we have upgraded the room :)
Cons: Sauna could do with a cold plunge pool instead of showers and probable bit better design for a resting area. Maybe also investing into air conditioning in hotel rooms. Also, parking should be really free for the hotel guests.
6.3 Good
Pros: Meals, bed are comfy, nice bathrooms, views
Cons: Not enough cosmetics supply in bathroom, stuff doesn’t speak English almost at all, coffee/tea bags were not replaced in room next day, air temp in pool area too high
Overview Reviews
One of the best hotels in the town with 2.500 m Medical SPA, which focuses on medical wellness / health treatments and offers countless beauty and wellness options with a only outdoor swimming pool in the town. Procedures in which natural and regional medicinal products and modern medical procedures are used. The hotel uses its own Alexandra's spring. It is possible to enjoy international and Czech cuisine. A place to meet and rest is located in the vast public areas with a library, lounge and bar. There are 6 golf courses in the immediate vicinity. Free Wifi access is available in the rooms and Lobby Bar. Internal bicycle storage for about 20 bikes. Parking with recharging facility for electric cars.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The rooms and bathrooms were very nice. The spa area, pools, saunas etc were very well appointed.
Cons: the treatments that l am my friend had were below standard. My friend had a reflexology session and she could barley feel the therapist working on her feet. When she said that to the therapist he told her to relax. It was expensive for 20 mins and not effective. The massage the following day was better for her but it was only 45mins long. My full body massage was also below standard. It was with the same therapist that my friend had her reflexology session.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful, “Zen” place! Excellent amenities. Good and rich breakfast
Cons: Bed was ridiculously narrow! Room was with no air conditioning
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Food is great
Cons: No ac
5.8 Okay
Pros: It is a very nice hotel to enjoty a few days in the calm and relaxing atmosphere: - Very clean and pleasant Spa (inside and outside pool) - Clean rooms - Very beautiful hotel - A lot of choice for the breakfast and dinner buffets and quality ingredients - Decorated the room nicely with roses for our anniversary - I had intolerances for deserts and they proposed me a special one, which I found really nice - The staff for the dinner was really friendly and competent
Cons: Some minimum service and user experience was not matching the 4**** hotel and the more than 200eur per night: - The staff was not really friendly (quite cold in fact: issues with English?) except the women manager, we had the feeling some restaurant staff avoided us in the morning because not knowing how to approach us (never asked us if we wanted something to drink in the morning) and girls at the reception did not explain much about the hotel (I think they were trainees). For the check out, no thank you and not asking if we had a nice stay... ?! - They charge you 11eur/day for their private parking and if you ask where we can find a free public parking, they say there is not (actually there is one 100m away) - You have to pay 10eur per person if you want to stay the day at the spa after the chek-out (was not explained) - You find flip flops in your room and you think they are free but actually they are not
8.0 Excellent
Pros: hotel, food, all staff, room hospitality all what we very much liked
Cons: stay as it is
7.5 Good
Pros: The town is small. So everything is near “the town city”, as this hotel is. The hotel is in a quiet part of the town. 500 meters to town’s 25 m pool(70 ck / hour).
Cons: 1) there is no air conditioning in the rooms 2) the elevator... it is extremely bad(logic of its functioning, speed, capacity) 3) Saturday’s dinners. No comments. Each Saturday they have some “chef’s evening” or something like that. It is impossible to get the food. And after that it is impossible to eat it
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious with a great bathroom. The hotel facilities were excellent and clean, particularly the spa area. The heated outdoor pool was great and we really enjoyed trying all of the different saunas. The breakfast was exceptional, don't think we could have asked for anything more to eat.
Cons: If you happen to get Jana at reception, good luck to you. She was extremely unpleasant and made us feel very unwelcome. Admittedly we didn't speak Czech or Russian, but we didn't expect to be glared at and treated with such disrespect. Stepanka was lovely though, and despite a delay with our room, the rest of the stay was lovely. Just a shame it started so horribly.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We had very nice spacious room, very good breakfast, parking in the underground garage, welcome drink, free access to indoor and outdoor pools.
Cons: Hotel was just full of German pensioners, and thus also hotel staff is very much oriented to German clients. Maybe too much....

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great central location, friendly stuff, great view, comfy bed. It was pleasure staying there :)
Cons: Advertised parking in the street is not really an option (as you woud pay some 20 EUR for parking in the street). Luckily, hotel will navigate you to a close parking house where you will pay some 5EUR per day.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is very good
Cons: Hotel staff is orientated to Russian speaking clients. During our stay only one receptionist spoke English. Photos on booking website for specific room was not matching reality. After request room was upgraded but it created unnecessary inconvenience. There are no spa treatments available on weekends but that info was not available during the booking.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: convenient location, nice hotel and room staff were polite and helpful and all the facilities are there for a good stay, The room i had was quite and big with a big bathroom and good breakfast in the morning.
Cons: Only things were No kettle in the room to make tea or coffee and water bottles in the room are charged for if you use them.
7.1 Good
Pros: the breakfast is not so rich
Cons: No ideas
5.8 Okay
Pros: Position and view. Old grandeur with white marble fireplaces and beautiful chandeliers.
Cons: All services closed after 7.30 pm. Some staff in dining room could not communicate in Czech or English , There was no restaurant open at night and no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Therefore no drinks after 7.30 pm. No minibar as advertised and no shampoo or conditioner. Bath was too high for older person to climb out off and shower had no grab handle to safely exit. Depressing atmosphere resembling more sanatorium than a hotel.
7.1 Good
Pros: Room was beautiful. BUT...
Cons: Bed was not comfortable. Covered with cheap second Layrer of foam and sharp pikes on the outdoor chair definitively changed our view on the hotel. Pls see attached pictures.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The bedroom had the best view in marianske lazne. Some front desk staff were polite
Cons: The restaurant staff were particularly rude. Despite claiming to cater for specialist diets, the only vegan food available was granola or steamed cauliflower. The pool was like a large bath and closed at most times. There was no Air conditioning for half of my stay. No tea/coffee equipment in the room. The toilet paper was 1-ply

Pros: We stayed in this hotel for 8 nights. Hotel is located in a park like setting, right across the road from historical Royal Golf Course Marianske Lazne, founded in 1905 and 20 minute easy walk to the town of Marianske Lazne. It was quiet, very comfortable, our room was large, staff was very helpful, perfect for us!
Cons: Breakfast was good, enough fresh fruit, good selection of usual European breakfast fair. However, every day always the same. A bit of imagination would be helpful! Also, pitch and put 9 hole golf course in the hotel was not in the good shape. The tennis court was neglected!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice furnished room in and old traditional building

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Large rooms and very good breakfast. The host was very nice.
Cons: No air conditioning, and unknowingly we left the windows open in the afternoon. The room received the afternoon sun. There was a fan in the room.

Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our room was very clean and spacious. The hotel is well-located in a quiet area - it's a short walk to the park area with the Singing Fountain and Colonnade (down the road) or to the shops along Hlavní Třída (down the steps). I was surprised by the many options available at the breakfast buffet, including the option of cooked-to-order eggs. We ate dinner at a restaurant recommended by the hotel (Česká Hospůdka) and found it to be very good. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, enjoyed our time in Mariánské Lázně, and found the hotel to be good value.
Cons: There's no air-conditioning, so our room was a bit hot. (I didn't want to keep the window open as it would allow bugs to enter the room since there's no screen.) Parking, although convenient, is charged.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a great place! Petra, the administrator and all the other staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast is very consistent. The location on Anglicka street is somehow idyllic, perfect for walks and in the same time not far from the town center and spa hotels. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy a peaceful vacation in Marianske Lazne.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: room was huge, with a nice carpet, comfortable bed, tall ceiling, well-working heating, nice breakfast with many things to choose from, pet friendly

5.4 Okay
Pros: Beautiful historic architecture in a serene town. Bathroom was well equipped and bed was comfortable.
Cons: When we arrived, the staff told us the main spa facility is closed since last week due to mechanical failure. It was a huge disappointment for us because the main reason we chose this hotel was to enjoy the spa/pool facility. The hotel did not compensate any for the inconvenience. And the room was facing quite terrible view. Staying this hotel is relatively pricy (~$400 for two) and I assume it is because of the spa facility. The hotel should provide compensation and additional service (eg. upgrading the room) or even refund some money when they are not delivering the promised services.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and professional staff, spa facilities and dining
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is really nice, clean, the bed very comfortable
Cons: Coffee was pretty bad at breakfast. Breakfast in general could be improved.
7.9 Good
Pros: Some of the staff was very attentive, others less so. Wonderful doctor and nurse and waitress [Alla]. Lots of choice at meal times. Nicely-appointed room. Wonderful walks around the town--woods and parks galore. The 24 medical treatments we each received did get a bit repetitive by the end of the week but the I would ask more hydrojet bed treatments next time.
Cons: The hotel should spend a little energy on providing staff with basic English lessons. Some workers in the sauna and medical units misunderstood what we asked for so services were not properly provided. We can speak five languages but not Czech or Russian. At a five-star hotel, better linens should be available instead of polyester or mixed polyester-cotton. Toilet paper was like sand paper. Our biggest mistake was going for the full-board--too much food!
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Treatment programs not well done
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nearly everything was positive: every single person we encountered here provided top-notch service. The hotel itself was certainly interesting architecturally in the grand old 19th century style, and the hotel is maintained in excellent condition – definitely not the shabby chic one can sometimes encounter with hotels of this vintage. The breakfast buffet was extensive and very good. Being a spa hotel, of course, one must consider the spas. Again, they were well-maintained and well-staffed. From others among our party (wife included), I heard that massages and other special treatments (for additional cost) were also good. The Roman Spa in the hotel is elegant in appearance and enjoyable to experience. As it is possible to go to the other spas of the related hotels with the same door key/hotel pass, on a subsequent day, my wife and I walked through the long complex of interconnecting hotels to see some of the other spas. We especially enjoyed the pool with water features at the extreme opposite end of the complex, i.e., at Hvēzda (Aqua Wellness Center). The hotel is very well situated to enjoy some of the hiking paths in the area as well as Mariánské Lásnē, which is pretty now with fall colors. Although it rained part of the time we were there, it was also possible to do some hiking. OK, now for the couple of small quibbles. My wife and I had booked a double room; it was pretty small, considering the cost compared to other hotels in M.L. The other quibble is I really thought that at least one pool, preferably with vigorous water jets, would have hot water. Alas, not one could be found in the entire complex: the warmest we saw was 31º – what the ancients would call a Tepidarium. I admit you can go into one of many saunas to get hot, but that is not the same thing.

Pros: Excellent buffets for breakfast and dinner. Beautiful wellness area with roman baths. Easy parking. Beautiful and tasteful Christmas decorations.
Cons: Dry carbon dioxide bath treatment areas run down. Spa staff stingy with the sauna sheets.

Pros: Everything else was excellent.
Cons: The treatment staff not speaking English, old ladies with rude attitude.

Pros: The hotel is located at the side of a forest and most of the sightseeing spots are in walking distance. The surroundings is so quiet that it is a good place to take a rest. The room is big and comfort.
Cons: Everything is great.
7.1 Good
Pros: Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, organized parking per request
Cons: Cooling in the room could have been better during hot weather
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very kind and helpful, the town and hotel are charming.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice room, larger than expected (we stayed in a superior double room). Satellite TV with domestic, German, Russian and international channels. Bathroom and shower also great. The hotel also had a separate room close to the lobby, where it was possible to relax or work and order cafe or drinks from the reception.
Cons: The room was a little cold at night, but the duvets were fine and so we slept well. Breakfast could have been better, especially the coffee. You just have to lower your expectations a little bit in this regard. Didn't try any spa services.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good quality furniture and bedding. Large comfortable, warm rooms. Good welcome and excellent breakfast.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Place is very quite and nicely situated
Cons: Personnel does not give enough information about facilities in the city
8.0 Excellent
Pros: All staff were very friendly. Hotel is very quiet. I slept wonderfully. Large shower. I did not have to squeeze myself in. Given the number of guests, the breakfast was very decent and varied.
Cons: Overall, the hotel is a bit outdated. It could do with some renovation.
7.0 Good
Pros: spacious, comfortable room; breakfast variety
Cons: toaster missing, electrical maintenance: several burned out bulbs were far away to be replaced in time

10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the friendly welcome to the wonderful and fresh breakfast and dinner buffets, this hotel exceeded our expectations. The spa areas were spacious and clean, there were plenty of clean towels. The room was comfortable and quite spacious.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The only thing that I like was one lady at breakfast that treated us really well.
Cons: When I came 1st time a year ago to Nove Lazne. It was right by the time when pool at Hotel Hvezda was under reconstruction. Nobody told us and it was not written anywhere. But we still enjoyed the stay because of the 'Rome spa and great bar at Nove Lazne. This year we came to Centralni Lazne and nobody told us that Rome Spa is completely closed. So all 3 hotels were using spa at Hvezda that is not big enough for such a amount of visitors. I was not happy with how I was treated by really stressed lady and the spa was not really clean. At dinner I could chose only one low fat option that was fish. Then we had 3 kinds of dumpling and sausages. On saturday night I was told at the bar at Nove Lazne by lady bartender that was talking to her friends that she is not going to serve me mix drinks because she is there by her self. But we were the only customers there and she was busy having fun with her friends. Really bad behaving as service at 5 start hotel. The lvl of stuff and food is really poor. I think its influanced by a lot of people coming from Russia that does not know the world starndard of 4start or 5 start hotel. That is why the service is too low because the customers do not set up the expectations enough. We came on friday and could not reserve a single treatment till Sunday and the most important accomandation that is from my point of view the Rome spa was comnpletely closed. We did not get discount on room cost neither any extra compensation. It was really sad experience this time at Centralni Lazne. For next time we will chose different destination.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is just a few meters away from the famous colonade and the singing fountain. Roman baths were absolutely gorgeus. Our room had a wonderful view.
Cons: The restaurant staff was eating the food of the guests when the dinner time was finishing infront of us. That doesn't look profesional. The temperature regulator wasn't working properly in the room. The quality of the bed linen wasn't good as for four star hotel. The nicest person in the hotel was a Russian speaking recepcionist, not so nice "Czech service".
8.0 Excellent
Pros: F&B Manager Pavel & his wife Romana were exceptionally kind to us.
Cons: Unfortunately most of of the staff could not speak English which made communication difficult!!
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Really nothing
Cons: One of the two concierges is very impolite and totally unfriendly. Some reception staff was not up to any professional standard, and in fact very unmannered .
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. Nearby the very interesting geo-path.
Cons: The odd hotel in the neighbourhood.
