proper hot water and shower
Location is handy. Okay price. 24 hours stay is better than 12:00 check out. Shower kit. I’ve stayed in other rooms here that had been better & ive dealt with friendlier more accommodating staff in the past. However my experience this time around has soured any positives I found in the past. Unfortunately room 412 as provided has a cockroach and bedbugs infestation. Unfortunately despite being very clearly a - CHEAP SHORT TIME HOTEL - in which you can check in for as little as 2 hours at your discretion; the hotel has chosen to discriminate against certain lifestyle choices and behaviours and despite having stayed here several times in the past they have a “new policy - nowhere in writing” that you may only have one guest, even with a 24 hour stay (which should entitle 1 room guest at any time for 24 hours at ones discretion with who ever they wish to accompany them in the room. If I was to check in for 2 hours each time it would not be an issue, just awkward to sleep and a lot more cleaning for the staff, so WHY discriminate in this way?). Not ideal if you have friends in the area to catch up with on a personal level in the comfort of a theoretically private room. In addition to this the staff disgustingly told my second guest they are the second guest before trying to refuse them entry!!
My first guest was a friend from the United States who happened to be staying in the area and came impromptu, my second guest (3 hours after the first had left, to clarify; I’m not trying to invite more people into the room at one time which I accept IS against TOS) travelled all the way from pasay in a cab just to see me for a couple of hours and was almost told to leave. There is no discrete behaviour here. Imagine the reaction if this was my wife visiting after a friend visited & was refused entry. This hotel will quite happily risk causing domestic problems or divorce for their own “policies”. Additionally. The staff are so loud on walkytalkies at all hours in the corridors. Despite a good price; because of the fact that I come here to host my friends, and they no longer accept this despite being a short time motel designed specifically for short time visits, I will not be likely to frequent this hotel chain again in the future. I tried to request to move room but unfortunately in room 412 the phone is muffled and it wasn’t possible to be heard. They also refuse to send a take out order to the room. Forcing you to retire to the lobby to collect the order. This is such an odd behaviour for a hotel to partake in. Nb: When I placed a second Foodpanda order the phone appeared to not be working I received no call, the hotel TOOK my food from the delivery driver and held it hostage until I paid a service charge of 50 pesos to have it brought up in the elevator TEN minutes later, after holding it for 15 minutes after the driver had left, it was my last day in the country and this was actually my LAST 50 pesos cash which I needed for the MRT, forcing me to take a grab all the way to the airport. Disgraceful & greedy conduct. When preparing to check out I took a shower. The water was cold, hotel advertises hot water so I left it running approximately 5 minutes to see if it will get hot!.
There room it very clean..
About the aircon..its not that cold as i expect.
