Staff reception and cleanliness
The bathroom in my room 314 needs to be renovated to meet the hotel's standard. The shower mixer and tap are leaking and out of date to me, washing hand basin tap too old, the testing chair is old and worn off that a black tape is used to cover the torn part.
Room too small
good location. room good. bed comfortable, minimal noise. Wifi a bit slow but functional. everything was clean if a little dated. felt secure. food was okay for what it was.
Staff were so-so, quite odd actually, for example I sat in the coffee place and left one of the chairs away from the table as i was leaving, i was clearly in a rush, and then got told off by the bar person, who could have replaced the chair if it were really that important. Also had an issue with the front staff when picking up my bag, who wanted to know the contents of my bag... it contained some very breakable stuff, so I asked that he be careful with the bag before i told him what was in it, this caused a huffled response. My room card stopped working several times. Very skimpy when serving food or drinks. Kinda felt like they were attempting to do the least possible with the least possible expense... a shame really...
Location and bath towels. WiFi.
The bedroom I was in wasn’t configured for the 21st century. No power sockets near the bed, nor bedside table to hold my array of electronic devices. The main light switches were in the small hall. Shaver socket non functional. The garden bar pizza was disappointing for the price. Dry and the toppings barely met the crust.
Bed was very comfy and good location
Room had no air con and was quite warm. Also shower had no door to close so whole bathroom became wet
