Couldn’t believe that there was no water from the tap/shower at all due to a burst water pipe in the night of my only night’s stay. This was after walking in the rain from the marble arch back to the hotel and I really wanted a hot shower. Staff wasn’t too apologetic and just gave a 2L bottle of mineral water which wasn’t really enough. Would have appreciated some form of service recovery like a free breakfast or something..
The lady on reception I can't remember her name unfortunately ,she was so cheery and helpful and had a little conversation with my son and myself everytime she seen us ,the rest of the staff where also very welcoming and polite ,breakfast was quite nice ,location is excellent right in city centre and beside Piccadilly station
The rooms etc needs modernising and refurbishment,my room in particular the window didn't close properly so couldn't slept due to hearing people speaking /shouting on the street outside ,paint on walls cracking ,mould on window frames
I think management may need to look at the operational efficiency and security of their WiFi. It may only need a change of password which from my recollection has been the same for years! Recent visits to the hotel (I am aware others have had the same problem) have been marred by poor WiFi.
Location was ideal for us, perfect for our one night stay. Staff very friendly, room clean and quiet, in fact very quiet considering where it is, right in the city centre. Also felt secure there, a happy stay.
The location of the hotel is great: right in the city centre!
Old and smelly room and furniture, breakfast does not consider food allergies ( lactose-free and gluten-free), not clean room
