Good location. Bar and restaurants onsite are good.

The room. Musty smelling. Lumpy bed. Light shined through holes in the old curtains. Bathroom fan and heater didn't work. The ice maker down the hallway was broken (front hanging off). Do not stay here. Maybe a 1 star room. Definitely not a 3.5 star.

    Location. That's about it.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The star rating is outdated. The room was very dirty and still carried some trash under the bed from previous guest. The lobby seats around the fireplace was ripped covered with some blankets.

The location - close to local shops and simple amenities

Definitely not rate as 3.5 star hotel. Would only give it a 2star. The rooms were musty, smelly and dark. The staff were not very helpful. The aircon was not working and the rooms in the summer were Super warm/hot at night. Definitely NOT a "Resort".

About

Overview

Mammoth Mountain is big enough to attract people from all across the United States and the World. Its world-class ski slopes were the birthplace of the game of GNAR, a much-beloved ski bum tradition. There are 15 resort fireplace suites available at Sierra Nevada Resort & Spa. Each suite has a gas fireplace and LCD flat-screen TV. A resort-style kitchen is provided with a half-refrigerator, microwave, and two-burner electric stove top.
