The location, only that!
It was really uncomfortable because the building does not have stair, the reception is on the first floor, we stayed on the second, the room doesn't have phone to communicate with the reception, the receptionist didn't give to us the tv remote, nor switched on and we had to come back to requested that twice...Nightmare!!! If you need a hairdryer you have to request it at the reception. etc Definitely, I couldn't recommend this property.
Nice and clean room which was cleaned every day.It had no mini fridge. It was hot outside and we could not have cold water.Staff was friendly and helpful but only one knew english and had trouble to communicate.A good choice, very close to the city center.
A small fridge should be in the room.It can be really hot in Madrid and those who stay there may want to have cold water. Also speaking english is very important to communicate with people who come from other countries.
it was available, the bathroom was new but not well thought sadly. This part of the city seems traditional in the small street.
The value for money is terrible, for the same price you can have better room in a better location with a buffet breakfast included. (see close to Retiro) The place seems to be big appartement that were cut to make room. The breakfast is a coupon to the closest shop that may not be open if you work too early... The room is ok but again I found much better for the same price in a previous trip to Madrid
One of the staff the lady that worked on the 10 and 11.9.19. did something low key racist. I asked her for an electric kettle, she told me that they had none. The next morning I walked in on her giving the kettle to a Spanish couple. So I asked her why she gave the couple the Kettle and told me they had none. She stammered her way through saying the actually got it that morning, which could be true or false. After that incident she was cold and aloof to me. I won't waste my money in a place where my skin color is not welcomed! Breakfast was not in the Hotel but down the street. The Aircondition was not working, they were all nonchalant about it except for the lady with a dark curly hair that worked on the 13.9.19. She reacted and made sure it was repaired. I was staying on the 2nd floor in this Hotel
It is in good location
There is no elevator, and the room was in 3th floor
