Nice place. Really out of the way
Restaurant is closed on a Monday and Tuesday making it a less than ideal place to come during the week. Breakfast is nice and staff is very helpful
Surrounded by 25 acres of cottonwood trees and lavender fields a few miles outside of Albuquerque, the picture-perfect Los Poblanos hotel and working organic farm is the kind of tranquil and relaxing retreat travelers daydream about. The 1930s-era ranch house and converted dairy buildings, feature tin roofs, cozy kiva fireplaces, lovely outdoor patios that are an ideal setting for special events and retreats.
Los Poblanos is located on an organic farm in the heart of the Rio Grande River Valley. Across from the hotel is the Los Poblanos Open Space, which offers over 130 acres of gardens and trails. For an all-American afternoon, watch the Triple-A team for the LA Dodgers at Isotopes Baseball Park on Avenida Cesar Chavez Southeast. Ride up the mountain via the longest aerial tramway in the world and dine on top of the Sandia Mountains at Santiago's, more than 10,000 feet above sea level, with views over 11,000 square miles. There are also plenty of local restaurants, cafes, and bars nearby.
Amenities at the farm include beautiful gardens, a heated saltwater pool, a gym, free WiFi, and free bikes to borrow for exploring. The comfort and privacy of Los Poblanos, along with the natural beauty, offers guests a truly relaxing environment. The restaurant offers ever-changing ‘field-to-fork’ menus with home-grown produce and ingredients. Sustainably-produced wines, New Mexican tipples, and local craft beers are among the award-winning drinks list.
No two rooms are alike at the hotel, and rooms come in three different categories, The Meem Rooms and Suites are located in the historic and renovated hacienda, 1930s historic dairy buildings inspire the Farm rooms, and the Field rooms offer stunning views of lavender fields and the Sandia Mountains.
