Pros (+) Strategic location. If you’re complaining about something about the Hollywood Labrea, then you should have known better, and you had no business staying there. It is a cheap no frills $100/night special deal kinda hotel, motel more accurately, no ups no extras. Do not expect customer service. Do not expect amenities. Cons (-) Customer service lacking. This is a trade off you should expect when you book at a motel like this. When you check in you see a bullet proof window at the front lobby. This is not just because of a hotel front desk armed robbery pattern being tracked by the LAPD. This is also because of disgruntled guests that frankly don’t get it.
