I could not sleep the room temprature was below the comfort zone
Great location, great staff!
The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very spacious. I've seen reviews of it being run down but I thought the rooms were bright and airy and clean and simple. There's evidence of wear and tear but not much.
No cafe/restaurant for breakfast so only got a "breakfast box" which was basic. We booked two rooms and weren't put next to each other, but down a separate hallway.
Travelodge Battersea is situated in a prime location for those paying a visit to the London area for business or pleasure. This is because it is just a few block from the Thames River, but it is also an easy walking distance from Clapham Junction, known as one of the busiest in the city. Though travelers can reach the many parks of the area, they are also close to Battersea Power Station, and even to Wimbledon. The London City Airport is nearby and Heathrow is less than 40 minutes by car.
And while the location of the hotel is a definite perk, there are many other quality amenities offered. These include the free Wi-Fi throughout the premises, the 24 hour front desk service, the free and private parking (including charging stations for electronic vehicles), and a tour desk in the lobby.
The 80 rooms are all spacious and stylish, offering single or double beds (queen or king), premium linens, large and private baths with signature toiletries, a separate desk, generous amounts of storage space, premium entertainment systems, free Wi-Fi, beverage systems, and daily housekeeping, among other benefits. All feature the Travelodge Dreamer Bed, too.
Travelodge Battersea is a balance of ideal location, premium amenities and services, and quality accommodations. It is ideal for solo travelers, couples, families and groups on leisure or business trips to the region. There is no restaurant, but great dining is within walking distance.
