    I did not like anything.

Everything was just wrong. The smell of the place, the bed was horrible, the receptionist was barely speaking English. The toilets and the showers were so dirty i didn't even want to go inside with my sneakers. The worst place on the planet.

The location was good, right outside of the "Northfields" tube station. The lady at the reception was very kind" Due to lack of space in the next section, I begin here the review of I didn't like about my stay: Page 1 of 2 There is nothing on the outside of the building that speaks "hostel". We walk past it at first because it wasn't obvious that the big, glassy structure was, in fact, the hostel. Also, one of the glass panels from this structure is shattered, shattering with it the presentation of the building and my sense of security as a guest. - I recommend installing an obvious sign letting the guests know where to go, as well as improving the overall presentation of the building on the outside, fixing such shattered panels and perhaps a paint job; Walking past the reception, the difference between the quality of the ground floor rooms and the above floors is remarkable. These need renovation. The corridors could use more cleaning and the doors, which feature a thin opaque window, are not as resistant as the hardwood ones from the ground floor. This, along with the worn-out door handles that hang low in their position, making it too easy to open, did not transmit a feeling of separation from the corridor and, once more, security. - I recommend replacing the doors altogether. No one's stay in such a place will be enjoyable if one can't feel comfortable and safe in one's own room. I also recommend renovating the entire corridor: replace the old wooden floor and painting the walls.

Page 2 of 2 The room was a twin room with a shared bathroom and kitchenette. The room itself was not bad but didn't aspire a sense of comfort. It had a fridge and an open wardrobe. The fridge was clean and the wardrobe as well, although the latter was made of old wood that is in need of replacement. The beds looked clean. - I recommend choosing a cozy design to redecorate the rooms and replace the wardrobe with a simple new one. The floor bathrooms were disgusting. The toilets are in the same division as the showers and I had to stand on a pool of water from the shower to be able to do my business. The pictures of these are not shown on the website. The kitchen was not clean either, with grease stains on the oven. Besides these, there are more showers and another kitchen in the basement. They are equally, or more, dirty and I didn't feel comfortable using them at all. - I recommend a more thorough cleaning of both these places and a renovation of the upstairs bathrooms. The conditions of these are inadmissible. At first, we didn't know about the kitchen and showers in the basement because we were not informed of them when we checked-in. When we confronted the manager with our complaints and lack of honesty by not showing the upstairs bathrooms on the website, he responded with a lack of empathy and replied that "it is not in our obligation to reveal all the information to our guests". Needless to stay, this reveals an attitude of not owning up to the mistakes of his management and the staff and was what motivated us to leave the hostel. - In my opinion, a big change is needed to improve this facility. Not only infrastructure wise but also in the style of management. Our handling as guests was improper and shameful. I hope that with this constructive criticism, the hostel is able to improve.

The man that attended to us.

The man and the location is good. But the place is too dirty, you can not even keep your dog there.

Everything- it was disgusting, smelly and foul. A badly converted office block hell hole!

Good location for my trip. Cannot complain about the price.

It seems the bathrooms might only be cleaned at night, so they get pretty dirty as the day progresses and the thought of having a shower when I got in was pretty grim.
