Tiny room, but modern, comfortable, and priced well
Good location -- very close to Queensway and Bayswater Tube stations, walking distance of Hyde Park, bus lines. Many restaurants available just a short walk away, plus several pubs. Also, some decent shopping from a recently opened shopping center. Hotel was quiet, nicely appointed and comfortable. Offered DIY hot beverage service during off-breakfast hours. Good value for the money in an expensive city.
Minor things: Sash-type window in our room was very loose in frame -- rattled with the wind. Wedging some folded paper in the frame kept the window quiet. Breakfast area roomy enough (holds 34 people, I counted chairs), but food was mediocre. Skinny white or brown (wouldn't really call it whole wheat) toast. However, more was readily supplied upon request. Tea, coffee, juice, apples, bananas, yogurts and cereal. Adding rolls or muffins would have been nice. More substantial fare, like bacon and eggs, cost extra, and once we smelled the bacon burning, this wasn't an appetizing option.
the Bed was comfortable and I like the fact that I had a Flat screen T.V available as well.
The room was a bit too small.
The hotel has a very pleasant homely feel - the receptionists were really nice. Although my room did not have a kettle, they have a lovely little room looking out on the garden, with books and every sort of hot drink you could wish for. Everything was beautifully clean, which is the starting point for feeling welcomed and comfortable. All in all, I think it is an excellent place to stay. Many thanks to the staff!
The management style of the hotel is amazing , because you are made to feel like one of the family as it is maore of a home boutique hotel than a hotel, and I have been staying there for years . The owners and manager are very professional and so is the staff reception, breakfats team, internet access, and woou the tea room is lovely so English , with its little court garden etc...not to mention that it is the best value for Money anywaher in london and very well located central with easy access to anywhere . I love the garden court hotel
No thing at all
Comfortable bed, great TV, quiet hotel close to the tube. A lot of restaurants and stores nearby.
They had a shower in the room, but not the toilet, this is if you choose shared bathroom and to me that means shared shower, not toilet. But it didn't matter so much, the shared toilet wasn't used by many.
The location is great and it's a warm friendly hotel.
The room was extremely small. While that's common in London, this one was particularly so. On top of that they put huge furniture in there which blocked all light and made it harder to move around. They should take out some of the furniture to give you room to move around without climbing over your bags.
Super location, awesome value
The one single room on the third floor was vey small.Couldn't take a seat behind the desk because it was to narrow. The breakfast was limited in choose, however there was enough toast!
Good location, quiet, nice breakfast, fast checkin/ checkout, had internet terminal, good value.
Room shower didnt work, so I used the hall one. I booked an non-ensuite room, so it didnt matter.
Nice room with high ceilings, good heat, and good bed. Bathroom upgraded and warm and good location to tube.
