The hotel is well located for me, and where my friends live in the city, and the places I frequent. The staff in the past has always been friendly as this was my 4th or 5th time staying.
There was a missing piece of equipment that wasn’t in my room when I checked in, and because I didn’t report it as not being there, the hotel made the assumption that I took it, or one of my friends who stopped by stole it, I explained that when I checked it, it wasn’t there, as I unplugged the base to use the adapter for my phone and remember thinking it was odd, but didn’t use the item so didn’t report it. I was told house keeping verified it was there when they cleaned the room, but let’s be honest, House keeping is not going to admit to the mistake of not reporting it, as that is there job, secondly these room doors are always propped wide open when they are being cleaned and I have noticed that the staff are often not in the room, the hotel has a lot of security doors, and not set up traditionally, so they are often out of view of the rooms when getting supplies etc, the hotel informed me to help them retrieve the item or the police would be called and the gps would tell them where the item was, I invited them to please contact the police to track the item down, as I was 100% sure neither I or my friends had anything todo with the missing item. Anyhow. The hotel has accused me or my friends of stealing, and considering the number of times I have been in this hotel, and how useless the item is for anyone with a data plan, I am disappointed to say I won’t be returning as that is not how to treat customers when you don’t have any proof.
