Pros:Great location! Close to Victoria Coach and Underground stations. About a 30 minute walk to Big Ben. Nice staff and good breakfast.
Cons:No lift, which we knew about when we booked but it was still a lot of stairs to go up when you're tired at the end of the day. The floors were a bit creaky and the rooms are small.

Pros:Really close to Victoria Station! Hotel under construction, but that meant beautiful brand new bathrooms with 2 different shower heads)! Complimentary breakfast (cereal, meat, rolls, yogurt, cheese). Attentive staff. The day I checked in I found dark hair on the bathroom floor and they were quick to send somebody up to re-clean immediately. They let me store my luggage for a few hours on my last day with no charge! Yes there were no elevators, but I liked the old-world charm of the place. I stayed on the top floor, so my room had a slanted wall from the attic. It was a super cute room perfect for a solo traveler.
Cons:Still going through construction/upgrades. At breakfast there was a woman who would just watch you eat. She'd leave every few minutes, but she was always hovering nearby. I'm sure she was there just to keep it clean or restock but it made feel uncomfortable. My only big complaint is that I told them on my first night that I didn't require room cleaning during the duration of my stay (3 nights), but every day there'd be a knock on my door...multiple times. The first day 2 different people tried to knock and come clean for a total of 6 times. On the second day, the third time someone came to clean they just let themselves in without knocking! Each time they would come by I would politely remind them that I did NOT want cleaning service, and yet they kept trying to come back throughout the day. I'm not comfortable having people in my room while I'm not there and so I felt uneasy leaving the room during cleaning hours.

Cons:NO ELEVATOR !! GOT PUT ON THE TOP FLOOR - HAD TO CLIMB 8 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS WITH ALL OUR LUGGAGE - UGGGH!
