The staff were excellent; especially Claudia - (hope that's the right name), extremely friendly and helpful. The room was serviced every day with clean towels. The location was perfect with two supermarkets on the same street and within easy walking distance of numerous cafes, restaurants and shops of every variety. There were two bus stops approximately 50 meters from the door which gave access to Metro stops and in any event there were three Metro stations in different directions, each under 10 minutes walk away giving quick and cheap access to anywhere in the city.
I stayed in a single room which was much smaller than expected, even though I had read reviews that said they were small. The main issue was the bathrooms which were slightly bigger than the width of the shower, approximately 3 feet wide. I was able to check out 3 different single rooms as I had to change rooms due to a noise from the electrical fuse panel on the wall of the my original room which kept me awake. I was offered my choice of two other single rooms, which didn't have the noise issue but which had equally small bathrooms. You literally had to be careful just turning around as the edge of the sink was about 18 inches from the opposite wall and the edge of the toilet seat about 8 inches from the opposite wall. Given what I had paid for the week I felt it was poor value.
Very central. Supermarket and cafes very near
Had a room with an air conditioner on the balcony. Was very loud when someone on the same flour as me had their air conditioner on. Especially at night. Ridiculous.
Helpful receptionist. Informed me I was robbed by taxi driver from airport. I was charged €27 instead of €15 advised by information desk at airport. Portuguese need to straighten out airport taxis!
Option to check out late.
5min walk from the airport metro. Quiet neighborhood with a Supermarket and some restaurants nearby. 24h reception where you can leave your luggage for free. Nice and cosy room with air condition and very heavy curtains that allowed no light to wake me in the morning. Very big water pressure in the shower. It was like a massage
The last day the internet was quite slow. Maybe too many customers online. Or one heavy user
