Nice boutique hotel. Large comfortable and quiet rooms, great hospitality and staff especially Carolina which was really wonderful, good breakfast, port and coffee pot in the room, inside parking for 15 euros, close to the center and metro station. Really recommended.
We liked it a lot
Breakfast was wonderful!!! It was very large with an amazing selections of foods from pastries to sauteed squash. The location is on a side street right off of Lisbon's Rodeo Drive. The location is wonderful.
Unusual but beguiling Art Deco Hotel. Staying there is more like being a member of an exclusive club than being in a hotel. Staff well mannered and always anxious to go well beyond the call of duty. Exceptionally clean. Excellent breakfast. Easy parking.
Not sure if it was part of the ‘look’ but plastic shower curtains are just so impractical and annoying
We were upgraded to a spacious suite on the top floor. Bed was very comfortable. We liked that the hotel was very close to the metro station.
Facilities and service were outstanding. Nevertheless, we felt that, at 150 euros per night, the hotel was a bit overpriced, especially considering that it is located outside the more trendy areas.
This property exceeded my expectations. The room was large, clean and the bed comfortable. Also they had an-electrical converter so I could plug in my phone and I didn’t have to use mine. Also had a bottle of port in the room and port and Ginja downstairs if you wanted a nightcap. The location was great, within walking distance through cool neighborhoods and the City Center. The breakfast each Morning was great too! Loved this hotel would definitely come back!
There is nothing negative that I can think of.
The art-deco charm of Hotel Britania as part of a project by Cassiano Branco, the illustrious Portuguese modernist architect. Situated in a peaceful road right alongside the cosmopolitan Avenida da Liberdade. The only hotel to remain intact until today, this hotel records the glamour of the 1940s. The rooms conserve ample dimensions as well as the cork floor.
