They don't honor Kayak reservations
I made a reservation for this hotel via Kayak and when I arrived at the hotel, they said my room had been given to someone else and that the hotel was overbooked and my reservation was cancelled.
Way below expectation
I liked the location I liked the large shower (we were unnecessarily put in a wheelchair accessible room)
**I didn't like the living bugs in the room: centipede, baby roaches, stink bug **I didn't like the broken air conditioner/heating unit. Heater only worked properly when set on air conditioner mode-- woke up in middle of night in EXTREME heat because the heater ran as if it was set on 100 degrees **I didn't like WAITING BOTH DAYS and FOR A LONG TIME on COFFEE in the morning. It was a problem for others as well. IN ADDITION, I didn't like that the continental breakfast set up on the 2nd floor the first day where the coffee was, but the second morning when no coffee was available again, we waited & waited, until finally the janitor checked to see where the refill staff was, to find out the new coffee was being served downstairs on a new machine IN A ZONED OFF AREA where staff said we could walk into (who knew? No one was there). The janitor asked the manager if he should take down the zone tape now that the new floors were installed, but she told him no. Not only was it was INCONVENIENT and RUDE that STAFF DIDN'T INFORM ANYONE that the place to get coffee was now moved to a different floor, and not even with the rest of the food, but that we also had to duck underneath the zone tape to access it. Very ridiculous. **I didn't like being woke up the entire night by some very heavy person above us doing exercises or something back and forth the floor about a hundred time. **Bedding and curtains and general appearance very outdated. **I didn't like that there was NO SINK SPACE OR ANY COUNTERTOP SPACE in the bathroom for anything.

Friendly staff. Quiet. Plenty of hot, steaming water. Air conditioner kept place cold. Airport shuttle available and schedule without requesting information.
Breakfast was extremely limited and necessary items not available. Ice Machine was always empty. Pillow cases looked very dirty. Took some time for temperature to come down. Felt a little cramped.

Everything, there was cigarette holes in the blanket, dirty floor and smelly pillows, this one member of the staff was rude, the place needed better lighting (looked like a dungeon), there was a plunger by the vending machines, the halls were too hot, the air conditioning was weak ( we had to set it to the lowest setting and it was still too hot) . one of the worst microtels i have ever been to, this place shouldnt even be a microtel by wyndham.

Near BWI airport and car rental return. Near freeway. Near gas station. Nice building and surrounding. Decent free breakfast. Free and decent wifi. Decent room with a nice window seat.

The room was small which was fine except it brought to light all it's shortcomings. The toilet when first opened had toilet paper in the bowl in a sea of dilute urine. The pedestal of same toilet was not cleaned in some time and came with dried urine splatter. The renovation work done to the bathroom looked very unfinished and elementary. Mismatched paint splotches on wall, sloppy grouting and caulking around and in the shower/bath tub and broken/cracked floor tile at its entrance. In the room, the dark blue carpet was dirty looking and in one place there were two paint roller marks of white or light colored paint. The immediate outdoor space...weedy grass that was not cut in weeks, beer cans, soda bottles, cigarette packs and general refuse in that grass and in the parking lot, weeds taking over the plant beds. It's the worst outdoor space of anyplace I've ever stayed, unkempt and screamed "we don't care".

An internal issue cause them to not have my reservation when I checked in...thankfully a moot point though. The room smelled so bad if cleaning products however I almost couldn't sleep, that was the first time I've experienced that at a hotel. Definitely not staying at Microtels anymore after this.
