Nice and clean rooms, little kitchen to use and a beautiful rooftop bar. Very good breakfast and an unbelievable host. Marco helps you in every issue and is the perfect barkeeper at the same time - try a pisco sour ;) We‘ll come a second for sure!
Nothing is missing here!
I’ve spend two full weeks at this hostel and I can’t complain about anything. It’s really clean, the breakfast is better than in some Hotels (!) and the rooftop bar leaves no wish desired. I’ve been in other hostels/ hotels in Lima and I was really happy to spend most of my time in Lima Backpacker. The Host is really caring and gave some free Cocktail Pisco Sour Lessons, tips where to eat and what, as well as perfect company for some conversations during the night. Overall, I can’t recommend this hostel enough, especially if you’re staying for a longer time and you are interested in the daily peruvian life and culture. It’s the first time I really felt at home in a Hostel. When I come back to Lima, I will book it definitely again.
All was perfect.
Property was clean and small (sleeps ~8 people) so it’s not like noisy big hostels. People I met there were really nice and respectable. Host shared a lot of advice and local tips. The breakfast provided was simple yet great and healthy. I could easily see myself staying there for couple of weeks.
Lima Backpackers is an excellent place to stay in Lima. It is my 2nd time to stay at Lima Backpackers. The hostel is very clean, located in a very nice neighborhood of Surco, which is close to Miraflores and Barranco. The hostel staff makes you feel welcome and also has very good recommendations on places to eat and sightseeing that only locals can provide. Internet works great and breakfast is good. Overall an excellent experience and I will definitely stay here again when in Lima.
I had an excellent experience, no complaints.
Friendly small hostel with a great rooftop bar.
It is in a more residential area of town but just a 10min walk to the bus.
Located in Surco (Santiago de Surco), Lima Backpackers is within a 10-minute drive of Lima Museum of Contemporary Art and Bridge of Sighs. Featured amenities include a computer station, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
