Nomad Hotel Le Havre - Le Havre - Building
2
8.8 Excellent (2,926 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Le Havre (Le Port), Nomad Hotel Le Havre is within a 15-minute walk of Vauban Docks and Bassin du Commerce. Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff was accommodating, the breakfast was ok (they need to learn how to properly cook bacon), and it's next to the train station, which is why I booked the hotel.
Cons: I have been staying in hotels during six weeks of travel in Europe, and this was the most uncomfortable hotel I stayed in. In its attempt to be ultra modern, it sacrificed comfort. There was no shelving in the WC, so needed personal items had to be set on the floor. The shower and sink are part of the bedroom with only a curtain to close for privacy. Very awkward. There was no shelving in the shower nor a grab bar...I consider this a safety issue. Also the room was so narrow, there was little space for two suitcases, and we kept hitting out legs on the edges of the beds as we moved around. The TV system was lousy. It projects from the ceiling onto the wall, and the speakers were broken, so we got a loud "buzz" when the sound was on. Also, in the middle of the night the thing would start buzzing. I had to stand on the bed, reach over my head, and hit the speakers to stop the noise. I tried to call the desk to complain, but the phone didn't work! All-in-all it was a lousy two nights!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Really good value, adequate and very secure parking, 5 minutes from car ferry port.
Cons: Very strange to have the shower unit in the same room as the beds. OK for couples but a bit odd for family or friends who do not share the same bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really impressed by the eco-friendly concept. The room was very comfortable and the shower was brilliant. The decor is minimalist but there are clever ways of storing clothes and luggage. Paid, secure parking is operated by an efficient, user-friendly system.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very modern eco hotel with very convenient underground parking.
Cons: Shame to see single-use toiletries.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very cutting edge and green in all regards.
Cons: All great.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staffs are very kind and some are accordingly expert. (but not everyone) Very modern and goal-oriented room facility. Very clean room. Good location.
Cons: The cold water pressure was to low(in whole house, said staff). Maybe matter of getting Usedom to. One day there was no shower gel in room and also in reception. I had to use just shampoos. Staff said thats same thing. (Shampoo and shower gel are same? It was not "two-in-one product.)
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Couldn’t work out how to turn the shower light off
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super modern tech
Cons: Dodgy wi-fi
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Met our needs. Great & friendly staff.
Cons: No fridge. Drain in shower was problematic - not draining. Hard to enjoy shower jet capability ! We didn’t phone front desk though.

Pros: Friendly staff, clean room. Suited our needs very well (we were en route to a river cruise starting from Honfleur). Although parking spaces are limited we have been lucky both times and this was secure, convenient and useful when checking in/out with luggage
Cons: Queuing for coffee machine at breakfast. Also, like other French Campaniles it is advertised as 'Hotel Restaurant', but there's no restaurant. However, there is an excellent Domino's Pizza place next door, which we were able to eat in the hotel bar area.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are adorable and very clean. Breakfast was good with different kinds of great.
Cons: I hope spaghetti can be provided for dinner as well!
7.1 Good

Vent d'ouest - Le Havre - Building
5
8.5 Excellent (808 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hôtel - Spa - Restaurant Vent d'Ouest in Le Havre (Downtown Le Havre), you'll be steps from St. Joseph's Church and 6 minutes by foot from Volcano. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and close to the city Centre. Double glazed windows & shutters = perfect for a quiet night! Would stay here again
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: As soon as we enter the room smell horrible, the old carpet and furniture needs upgrading, for the price I paid for two nights and 4 star rating I was expecting a lot better, very disappointed ! It mentions Spa which is only a steam room, no pool , no jacuzzi. All massages are booked , was a waste of money, would not recommend this hotel
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfortable and the ensuite immaculate. The complimentary toiletries were beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made a restaurant reservation for us and booked us a taxi when we left.
Cons: Our room was situated by a busy road junction, so was a bit noisy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Central, close to ferry. Brilliant breakfast, lovely staff.
Cons: It was perfect for our needs
7.9 Good
Pros: We liked the hotel's theme. It is very inspired. You actually feel the whole seafarer mood, like you were really on a ship. This is something to be appreciated as most hotels put up one or two doodads and feel it's enough. Here they really went all the way and we congratulate the management for it. The staff was very kind and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the cleanliness was beyond reproach.
Cons: The room is quite small. I don't know how stars are awarded in France but back home the hotel would only be eligible for 4 stars with a room this small if it was located up in the mountains. The bathroom takes this to the next level.... it is extremely small. Actually it is very narrow, to the point where using the toilet means running your forehead against the wall.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was really nice, even thought it was pricy. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was very cozy and quiet.
Cons: I had asked for separate beds as I was traveling with my dad and we ended up having to share a bed.
6.7 Good
Cons: Too hot in the rooms in summertime without any fan or aircon. We slept badly therefor and could not be in the room until very late. Very small rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect
Cons: Room bit small but Overall very good value for money
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great rooms, lovely decor good location.
Cons: No coffee bar or such. Tried to book a massage but was fully booked for all the stay so never got a chance to use the spa.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, close to the beach and right in the centre of Le Havre. The owners are incredibly friendly and really helpful to any request. They really go above and beyond for their guests. The room was really spacious and nice too. The design is also really cool and quirky which I loved.
Cons: Nothing, it was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts, v helpful. We both loved the building and furniture. Superb location for a really great 24hrs in Le Havre.
Cons: Only a minor point, but some vintage music from the ‘50s era in the reception area would make our stay perfection!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall feel of the place.
Cons: Can’t think of anything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Located right in the city center and you can walk to all attractions. Restaurants are nearby and supermarket just on the next street. No elevator but they helped me with my big luggage. Staff is so friendly and welcoming, made me feel like home. So comfy stay here in Le Havre.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Not a lot

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Execellent location. Very friendly Madam. Great breakfast (free for the children). Thoroughly recommended.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was quirky and ideal for our stay. Breakfast was simple but nice and you can access refreshments all day. I liked its design decor as it is in keeping with the avant garde nature of Le Havre and is a world heritage protected building.
Cons: The only thing to be aware of is that you can hear the water draining from other rooms, but not the end of the world.
Adagio Access Le Havre Les Docks - Le Havre - Building
7
8.3 Excellent (2,687 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Ideal for business or leisure trips, the 3-star Adagio access Le Havre Les Docks welcomes you to the docks in modern and friendly surroundings. Thanks to its location, it offers easy access to the museums, port and the SNCF train station. Relax and enjoy the restaurants and bars along the docks. The aparthotel offers fully-equipped apartments with kitchens, so you can do your own thing at your own pace.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and having the small kitchenette really useful. Bathroom large and secure parking a bonus. Very good breakfast and friendly staff
Cons: The shower door was slightly off at the top which made closing it tricky.
7.1 Good
Pros: We chose this hotel for being close to the Brittany ferry we were to get in the morning. The room is spacious and has everything you need.
Cons: We rang to say we'd be slightly later than the 21h that the reception closes - we were driving from Spain. The man said he'd send the code we needed to get in to my phone, but he never did. There was a number to ring on the door, but that only led to a recorded message in French that we couldn't understand. If it hadn't been for the kindness of other guests who were hanging out in the lobby, we'd have had to go find another hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was fairly spacious and had a well equipped small kitchen. The bed was comfy. There were lots of amenities that you could use including games, guitar and a console.
Cons: The rooms were very hot and even with the loan of a fan it was uncomfortable to sleep. I wouldn't stay in summer again. The bathroom lighting was also very poor
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beds were good, shower great, all facilities there. To improve would be handy to send a code for the door to get in. But good value for money
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Modern, clean and friendly staff
Cons: Car parking on site not possible if you arrive when reception closed
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious rooms
Cons: Beds are very stiff and there was a lot of noise from the street (we stayed for saturday night so it was expected)
5.0 Okay
Pros: reasonably priced for the region, big studio/room, free parking
Cons: - about 30-45 min walk from the center - the staff arrived at 5.15AM and had a chat underneath our window which made it unable for us to sleep (it was very hot, so not pleasant to close it) - breakfast was basic, eggs were cold, coffee cups were missing, etc.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Well equipped studio with all the basics needed for an overnight stay. Plenty of fast food restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Good secure parking available at a small cost. Ability to order pizza and other food to be delivered to the hotel. 5 mins drive to ferry terminal.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good and coffee was free and available all day.
Cons: Would have liked coffee sachets in room rather than a machine
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The team. They are extremely nice friendly and very helpful.
Cons: Nothing.

Cons: None
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice clean rooms Free wifi
Cons: There were no plates at breakfast and no cheese.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location for catching the ferry early the next morning. Room was very clean. kingsize comfortable bed. a 2nd pillow would have been good but comfortable. We had a room at the back and it was very quiet. Good for an overnight stay. No restaurants nearby so we has to go into the town. Very secure parking.
Cons: needed a 2nd pillow. Also no hand towel in bathroom but no real problem
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I booked this place for my parents and they were satisfied. My parents don't know English very well and are not so confident in online booking, so I did reservation and they did not need any more help. My father compared this place to other Premiere Classe near Le Havre, and said it was far better in his opinion.
Cons: Haven't heard of any bad experience.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location for stop over. Very clean comfortable rooms. Rooms are very basic but spotless and great for 1 night.
Cons: Check in not clear when booking! arrive after 9pm and you have to check in via a machine as no staff after this hour. This is not made clear when booking or the fact you need your reference number and bank card when accessing the check in machine. No notice of where the car park is located and no indication you need your room key to access the car park. Car park is in fact round the back of the hotel, turn left out of reception and a few yards along the road
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean. Helpful staff. Breakfast was ok, fair price. Needed to ask for more pillows but they gave us some straight away
Cons: A little too far away from Le Havre. No restaurants nearby
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Cheap but very clean with secure parking which was a bonus for us with a car full of holiday things.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Rooms perfect for no frills short stays. Only night car park security the big problem.
Cons: My car plus 3 others were broken into. Windows smashed on all. No night staff at all! Villains will be aware of this security flaw. Walk in door to gated car park was left open all night!!??? NOT GOOD IDEA.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Modern hotel with secure parking on site. Very comfortable and spacious ensuite room. Very good value for money. The location is convenient for getting out and about if you have a car. No restaurants in the immediate vicinity; take away available in the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room and facilities particularly secure parking
Cons: Needs to be explained to book kn for key before trying to park, quite significant at night particularly for motorcycles as speed bump outside access can cause problems. Otherwise fine.

7.5 Good
Pros: good location
Cons: little bit noisy if the window is open
10.0 Excellent
Pros: good address
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location was excellent, bed was comfortable, towels good
Cons: The bathroom: blocked sink, mouldy shower, broken towel rail, cistern running noisily all night. Balcony for which we paid more: broken seat, dead plants; arrival- they had OKed our arrival time but when we got there it was locked up. Spoke to an intercom, let in, had to find key in dark. No indication of WiFi code anywhere. As had stipulated parking provision, but was in fact paid parking in the street. I feel the reviews and description of hotel mislead us
5.4 Okay
Cons: They falsely accused us for taking towels with us by email a couple of minutes after our departure. They suggested immediately to take the amount of the towels of our credit card. We find this a little bit shady (big time).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location good if taking Brittany Ferrys.
Cons: Stairs were not good with suitcases although they did help carry, no lift and rooms at top of stairs. Very noisy with the windows open which we needed to have open as it was quite hot.
9.6 Excellent

Cons: Bathroom in our room was tiny, but still good and clean

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was superb to explore the town, the owner was extremely helpful and friendly, the breakfast was great value and had a fantastic selection and the hotel and room were clean and tidy.

8.5 Excellent
Pros: Good location for ferry port.
Cons: Nothing in particular - it’s a chain hotel and so you know what you are going to get.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Liked reception but when food ran out at breakfast there was no more offered; when it was gone it was gone!
Cons: When the food ran out at breakfast it was not replenished. Also the staff should tell you the times for breakfast as on the weekend it is served until 11am but week days it is 9.30am; this should have been explained.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely spacious room.
Cons: Complicated system of parking using the public car park. Could be made simpler which would save time.
7.9 Good
Pros: very close to ferry terminal and shopping mall

5.0 Okay
Pros: Good to have seperate toilet and bathroom.
Cons: Not enough tea coffee supplies when 4 of us in the room. Only 2 cups etc. Chaotic breakfast and no one recording who was having breakfast. We had paid for breakfast in advance but it would have been very easy to have breakfast and not pay!

Pros: I think there is not enough place for working. The chair is too much large for the space working. And there is not enough plugs and not well placed. Thank you
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room, nice location!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was buffet style with both hot and cold items. Well presented and plenty of choice.
Cons: Half of the seating was stools at high tables, not suitable for families or older guests so the other tables were in demand and needed clearing more quickly.
7.5 Good
Cons: We had a room with the window to the main street, which was very loud on Thursday night - cars+people. And there is no air conditioning so we had to have open window else we would die from heat. We didn't sleep at all :( For the rest the facilities and staff is nice, but after sleepless night it is difficult to stay positive.
7.5 Good
Pros: We had a corner room with balconies on both sides.

Pros: Great value for money. Efficient, clean, no frills stay, though room was spacious. Very, very well located for train station and ferry port.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Good location for just a stopover.
Cons: Lots of drunk men outside the bar a few doors away made us feel quite unsafe.
4.2 Okay
Pros: It absolutely stank of raw sewage in the corridors. Really nauseating. There was a strong air freshener in the room to try and mask it. View from window was of rubbish and dereliction.
Cons: The smell.
6.7 Good
Pros: Only thing that let the hotel down was that the room did not have air con so very hot at night which required the windows opening to be disturbed by seagulls all night and early morning
Cons: No kettle in the room to simply make a cup of tea
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excelent price. A 3 star hotel for the price of a bottom of the range hotel ( well, 10 euros extra to be fair). A safe in the room! This hotel is really full of surprises.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The family room was big and bright and clean. Bathroom and towels were clean and exactly as anticipated from the website. Good night sleep at good value for a family stop on the way to Calais.
Cons: The parking is 300 m away, shared with the city station and cost 7 euro extra (not mentioned in description). The hall to the room was noisy with sqeaky doors and didnt smell great.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Great breakfast, possibility to park a car nearby, location
Cons: I have ordered 2 separate bets, but that was not fulfilled and personnel was not nicely trying to solve my issue, though it was solvable and promised before
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was clean, quite big and staff was very kind.
Cons: The location is not in the city center
5.0 Okay
Cons: bathroom smelly room isolation poor.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Easy access from the ferry port. Modern comfortable room.
Cons: Limited parking in the evening while McDonalds (next door) was open.
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff was really helpful and prepared to take our bags for keeping. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean, we did not have any problems.
Cons: The breakfast was a little chaotic, the dinner was okay but some dishes were better than the others. It was a shame that the windows were very dirty and the windows were closed which is a shame for the view.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Small simple room, ideal for an overnight stay. Advance rate paid and very good value. Very clean and with all amenities. Set in a typical commercial estate, next to a McDonalds if that is your thing. Did not have breakfast, as with the poor exchange rate it costed out at nearly £10 per person, and in any case I like a simple coffee and croissant from a real French cafe!
Cons: Nothing.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Coffee facilities. Shower
Cons: State of the carpet. Very noisy
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was pleasant
Cons: Our room overlooked the railway tracks, a little noisy at times.
7.9 Good
Pros: This is a hotel from a big chain, but the connection with the team on the ground is very personal and pleasant, including the conversation at the bar. Apart from this, the beds are comfortable, and the windows are properly noise isolated
Cons: The remote control of the TV was not working well, the parkplace is not kept in reality. On the picture, it looks like you are on the basin: in reality, you are on a high traffic road, which you need to walk along to end up where bars and restaurants are,
7.5 Good
Pros: Close to shopping centre, mc Donald’s
Cons: No comment
5.8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good with a large selection of foods . Very quiet in rooms .
Cons: Hard to get to from port, we could see the hotel but couldn't seem to get to it.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent range of food for breakfast. Hotel very near the ferry terminal
Cons: Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Sunday eve so we had to find an alternative - McDonalds is next door which i would like to say was a culinary experience I don't want to repeat!!! Hotel is by a busy road so can be a bit noisy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was amazing, with crisp white sheets and memory foam. Gorgeous.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: reception and ground floor was nice to look at and be in good breakfast
Cons: carparking was a bit low in capacity compared with number of rooms - so folks used the McDonalds area car parking - put up lighting and make the section under the flyover more safe and secure and more likely to be used no air conditioning rooms are smaller than pictures but adequate for economy hotel

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Rooms were not ready on check-in. We came back after another 7 hours and still the rooms were not well cleaned.
7.9 Good
Pros: The room was clean and the hotel is in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful
Cons: I had my window smashed on the car park in front of the hotel. Nothing was stolen, but I would have thought that the hotel would have CCTV
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Close to the train station.
7.9 Good
Pros: The amount of facilities you get for the money, plenty of parking spaces, friendly staff.
Cons: The noisy neighbourhood. I had to wake up late at night. Someone at the McDonald's was honking horn continuously around 2 in the morning.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location, easy access to train and tram.
Cons: The free WiFi was not great.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed, great shower room and facilities (fridge, hob, microwave, sink and utensils).
Cons: N/A
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location for the railway station. A little out of town but the tram next to the station was only 2 stops into the heart of the city. The room had all of the facilities to cater for yourself - should you want to. And best of all, as I was there during the heatwave - a fridge
Cons: Nothing to not like.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was clean, the kitchen with the fridge were nice, but at the reception we were told to pay extra fees Nevertheless the amount that we paid already included all of the fees
Cons: Extra fees at the checking

Ideal for business trips, seminars and family stays. The Pasta-Pizza restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner. Fitness suite, underground car park
7.5 Good
Pros: It's a good hotel in the center of La Havre. Comfortable and clean. It's Ibis. You know what to expect when you come here. And it's exactly like that
Cons: The bathroom was rather outdated.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Needed a hotel that was convenient for the ferry in the morning. Arrived about 8 but had to return car. They have a restaurant open until 10 so I returned the the car and sat down to eat at 9.30. Breakfast was fine. Hotel ordered taxi which arrived on time, and we caught the ferry
7.9 Good
Pros: Excellent breakfast no fuss
Cons: The directions given when booking were inadequate. We spent almost 45 mins late at night trying to find the hotel by which time it was too late to eat or even get a drink at the bar, Previous knowledge of the parking facility and the fact that the hotel is on a one-way system would save so much hassle. This could be rectified so quickly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here before. Secure pattking, nice restaurant with v tasty dishes. Excellent choice at breakkfast. Room facilities were excellent. Best nights sleep for ages- such a comfortable bed. Bonus - more than 1 pillow for each person!
Cons: All good.
7.9 Good
Pros: Perfect place to stop over when arriving on the coast Le Havre late!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was superb, exceeded my expectations. Location central. Very good value. Even meal at hotel was superb
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice amenities and an excellent breakfast. Close to the train station.
7.5 Good
Pros: We paid extra to get more space, a room for 4 was good for 2, it was OK.
Cons: A bit expensive.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast - Excellent quality food and variation of choice. The restaurant had a limited choice menu in the evening but was well cooked food (Pizza and Pasta etc) and very reasonable on price. Staff- The hotel staff were excellent and could not have been kinder and more helpful. Top Marks! Rooms - VERY clean and the bed itself was fabulous with a good quality mattress which makes (all) the difference if you want a good night's sleep. Parking - The hotel has a great underground facility due to limited street and public parking available (and for which a parking charge was also required between peak hours) and so, you would be making a mistake not to use the hotel's facility which was only 7 Euros a day.
Cons: INFREQUENT noise from the Police Station across the road (the use of sirens on Police cars a couple of times was heard in the early hours of the morning) but that is no fault of the hotel of course and rather, it is an unavoidable consequence of location so close to a government facility.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and location good, no problem for me

6.3 Good
Pros: Property is very clean, pretty and in a super location
Cons: - Room was extremely hot -Awake all night with very loud noises -Shower didn’t work
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel located in the heart of Le havre. Comfortable and clean. Friendly and hepful staff (but English not spoken - but enough for everyone to get by!). Perfect for a mini break in Le havre. Stayed there before and would do so again.
Cons: Not a complaint - but just the downside for some travellers. There is no lift - so you need to be fit enough for stairs. Also you have to have the windows closed at night even in the hot weather - you either have traffic noise early morning with front rooms. I was in a room at the rear of the property and this backs onto the Halles Central - this is a major market which is brilliant BUT lorries arrive at 5am - got woken up two mornings and had to give up and shut the windows at night. With windows shut, you do not get the traffic noise - just prefer to have fresh air if I can. Repeat - this is not a complaint - but just to forewarn you to get the most from your stay. Have stayed in other hotels in le Havre - but this one is the best for location, quiet and comfort if you want to be central.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and informative service
Cons: N/A
7.5 Good
Pros: Good value for money, lovely family hotel with great attention to detail. Enjoyed the breakfast and friendliness of the staff.
Cons: No air conditioning, shower holder was broken a little noisy, but expected as central to le Harve
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location for restaurants. Only minutes from ferry terminal. Excellent street parking behind hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: Decorations
Cons: Shower too small with dirty curtains
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was clean, the beds comfortable and the hotel is located within a very short walk of many restaurants. I was concerned about potential street noise but when the windows are closed you don't hear anything.
Cons: Some of the fixtures were a little tired and the grout edges could be better.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Traditional French breakfast
Cons: There was mold on the walls in the bathroom
4.6 Okay
Cons: No one on reception. I expect to check in when I arrive
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff and reception were very nice and friendly ..
Cons: Shower had old stained curtains.. room was quite cramped

With three meeting rooms and a fitness zone, our hotel in Le Havre also showcases the region's finest in the bar-restaurant, offering house cocktails and dishes made with ingredients from nearby farms. You won't want to miss out on tasting the honey from our rooftop beehives during breakfast!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff were obliging and eager to please, and steak and chips was good. The bed was very large, clean and comfortable, and since my stay was a stop-over en route elsewhere this was very important.
Cons: Prices for food and drink took advantage of captive audience, which is good for the bottom line in the short term, but not so good when customers find this a reason not to return. You will know from your own market research the price level you can push prices to before customers vote with their feet. For me €8.00 for branded beer available in nearby bars for half that price is excessive. I know that price is only one consideration, and much of what you do was done well.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Quiet hotel, fairly located for my needs. In the room i received, the bed was super wide. And for sure comfortable.
Cons: No desk in room to work. You need to insist to get a printed bill at departure, otherwise you get it by email and have to print it by your own. The tatoos of the staff No lift from parking to exit. A bit ennoying with the suitcases in the stairs.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location within easy walking distance of major attractions such as art gallery, museums, shops and restaurants. The hotel has its own restaurant Happy Dock which is excellent. Stylish decor, daily newspapers. Staff extremely freidnly and professional
Cons: Nothing.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: We had two conected rooms which was good.
Cons: This is a hotel I would never like to come back to. It's ugly, located in an area with no interest at all. There is no reception. You come into a bar that was noisy . When we arrived, a whole bus of turist had just checked in and they where blocking the small entrance because they where waiting for the only two elevators available. It took ages for all these people to be able to go to their rooms. The rooms are unpersonal and both of them had a broken lamp. One of them was at the entrance and because of that, the whole room was very dark. We asked for the lamps to be fixed. They only fixed the little one from the bathroom. They never fixed the most important one. The showers wher stupid, being placed in a vertical way which made it impossible to shower properly (the oposite wall got all the water). We where placed close to the elevators which made it very difficult to sleep well. You hear every person that comes and goes. Finally, the worse was that despite they claim to have airco, we could not control it manually and it did not work at all. It was 25C in the room (we had a thermometer) and we had all trouble to sleep.
7.1 Good
Pros: GREAT breakfast! Many options and more than enough. Nice bar and good restaurant. Everything was clean. Nice view.
Cons: The room did not meet our expectations of a 4 star hotel. Quite small room, small bath room, not much luxury, small bed. Compared to other 4 star hotels we stayed in, the room was quite disappointing. It was just OK and clean, no more than that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rich breakfast on Mercure scale, quick staff
Cons: The building from outside. No impact on the stay.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant had great service and food. Great customer service. The Manager also went out of her way to accommodate my early check out due to my changed work commitments!
7.5 Good
Pros: Location, view, bar and restaurant
Cons: Exterior needs serious refurbishment Also bathrooms show it’s an old hotel
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The ease of check-in, very spacious room, loved that it was a real double bed and not 2 singles pushed together, nice modern bathroom. Good location making it easy to walk to most parts of town.
Cons: Breakfast should not be automatically added to the bill. There needs to be a better system so that you are only charged for breakfast if you had it, you shouldn’t have to discuss this matter upon checking out. I had such a wonderful stay but now it is marred by this experience of getting charges removed from my credit card.
