Ibis Budget Le Havre Les Docks - Le Havre - Building
3
8.6 Excellent (2,161 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Ibis budget, the smart accommodation choice! During your travels, choose to sleep in a modern and pleasant room, designed for 1, 2 or 3 persons (2 ADULTS + 1 CHILD MAX 12 YEARS), equipped with a shower, toilet, and satellite TV, for a very attractive price. Enjoy the benefits of a low-cost gourmet breakfast!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very handy for the ferry - came off an evening crossing and went straight to the hotel. Whilst trying to work out how to get in, a security guy/member of staff came to the gate to let us into the car park, which was great. Secure parking at the back of the hotel after coming through the gate, which was crucial for us as we were on motorbikes. Another member or staff (or the same, not sure!) was available to help us with the self check-in machine had we needed it, which was nice. Room exactly as you would expect from an Ibis Budget - simple, clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a basic overnighter. Good shower, which was appreciated.
Cons: A bit more clarity on how to access the car park would be good - I contacted the hotel via booking.com to ask, and they did send instructions, but it would be useful to have these as standard in the same way they give instructions for out of hours check-in. Not sure how well we would have managed had the member of staff not come over to let us in.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very, very clean and great location for the ferry. Also pet friendly.
Cons: I didn’t have a code to get in via the gate. Fortunately there was a night porter who just happened to be around. But I didn’t get the feeling he was always there. So I’d have been really stuck if he wasn’t.
7.5 Good
Pros: - Well organized room in a small space - Bus stoppage nearby to go to centre.
Cons: - Could not found a TV remote. - Difficult to operate the air-condition as the control display is in French!
7.0 Good
Pros: A little isolated in relation to location, on the outskirts of le havre. The rooms are compact but have everything needed for an overnight stay and are clean and comfortable. Good secure car parking.
Cons: Not keen on the out of hours checking in process, would prefer staff to be present as it was only 9 pm when we arrived, so not that late. If you forgot to carry your room code then you would definitely not get back into the building. Would prefer some uk channels at least on the tv, as all were in French.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was basic but adequate. Location excellent for ferries. Free parking.
Cons: No restaurant but that's normal for Ibis Budget
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Late check in facility, clean, quiet and comfortable
Cons: Breakfast too late at weekend for early start

Cons: Few more tea bags and milk in bedroom, otherwise nothing!
5.8 Okay
Cons: The management left one person only during the sold out weekend of a major event happening once every two years. I think this would have been better to have additional hands helping to run the facility in a better way.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Well equipped studio with all the basics needed for an overnight stay. Plenty of fast food restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Good secure parking available at a small cost. Ability to order pizza and other food to be delivered to the hotel. 5 mins drive to ferry terminal.

Pros: This was a fantastic place to stay. Very close to the ferry and the town. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everywhere is very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it and use it again. The free coffee is a lovely bonus!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed. Good value for money - you pay for what you get, rather than paying extra for stuff you don't use. Secure parking was good.
Cons: Was about 25min walk away from the centre of town.
7.5 Good
Pros: The ability to self cater( ie not to have to rush for breakfast) or to dine out as we wished
Cons: Carpet in room is a bit tired, skirting boards needs tlc.
7.0 Good
Pros: Close to the ferry terminal, was clean. Able to leave luggage whole of following day tho’ not staying that night.
Cons: No staff around late evening. Instructions to locate safe in reception not clear enough. Were left envelope with wrong room no. written on outside so wandering round hotel at 11pm working out what room we were in. Could not work sofa bed so slept on it as it was. Altai’ requested twin beds weeks in advance, they were not available.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel It os ok. Staff Very good.

Vent d'ouest - Le Havre - Building
6
8.4 Excellent (816 reviews)
Overview Reviews
A stay at Hôtel - Spa - Restaurant Vent d'Ouest places you in the heart of Le Havre, steps from St. Joseph's Church and 6 minutes by foot from Volcano. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent on all levels! Good communication (by email with Jean) prior to visit, very friendly staff, comfy rooms and beds, interesting decor and great location! Although bit pricey, breakfast proved delicious and copious. Only small criticism was the difficulty accessing private car park - but all the good things compensated for that. Would definitely recommend to friends ... and hope to visit again. Brilliant place to spend time with my France-based family.
Cons: Nothing!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed & pillows. Excellent breakfast with good quality products. Very good location in the centre of Le Have, convenient for shops, market, restaurants, bars & the beach.
Cons: Cramped bathroom. Dreary, ugly room decor.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfortable and the ensuite immaculate. The complimentary toiletries were beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made a restaurant reservation for us and booked us a taxi when we left.
Cons: Our room was situated by a busy road junction, so was a bit noisy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Central, close to ferry. Brilliant breakfast, lovely staff.
Cons: It was perfect for our needs
7.9 Good
Pros: We liked the hotel's theme. It is very inspired. You actually feel the whole seafarer mood, like you were really on a ship. This is something to be appreciated as most hotels put up one or two doodads and feel it's enough. Here they really went all the way and we congratulate the management for it. The staff was very kind and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the cleanliness was beyond reproach.
Cons: The room is quite small. I don't know how stars are awarded in France but back home the hotel would only be eligible for 4 stars with a room this small if it was located up in the mountains. The bathroom takes this to the next level.... it is extremely small. Actually it is very narrow, to the point where using the toilet means running your forehead against the wall.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect
Cons: Room bit small but Overall very good value for money
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great rooms, lovely decor good location.
Cons: No coffee bar or such. Tried to book a massage but was fully booked for all the stay so never got a chance to use the spa.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely and comfortable - rooms might be a bit small but there is everything you need - staff extremely helpful - great breakfast and go to their restaurant Les Enfants de Sage - best food in Le Havre. Also great NUXE products in shower -- but would rather not have them in plastic bottles... dispenser would work.
Cons: Small plastic shampoo bottles.. Tea and coffee in sachets...
7.9 Good
Pros: Decor is unique and quirky, very well done. Room was clean with a very large bed. Breakfast buffet had a good variety of fresh fruit, danishes, breads, cheeses, meats, nespresso coffee and normal jug coffee, various fruit juices and great little pots of scrambled eggs.
Cons: There was no milk in the room when it came to having our morning coffee, the noise from the street was very loud but the room didn’t have air con so when the windows were all closed to keep the noise out, it became quite stuffy (no fresh air).

Overview Reviews
A stay at Premiere Classe Le Havre Centre places you in the heart of Le Havre, within a 5-minute drive of Stade Océane and Stade Jules Deschaseaux. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This is not your standard rather clunky pre-fab Premier Classe with rooms opening onto open landings. It is a purpose built concrete structure more like an Ibis. Decor is also better, cool greys rather than garish red and orange. It is 3 years old but very well kept and looks like it just opened.
Cons: Car park is only accessible through main hotel building so once you have checked out you can only access car park when reception is open.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location for catching the ferry early the next morning. Room was very clean. kingsize comfortable bed. a 2nd pillow would have been good but comfortable. We had a room at the back and it was very quiet. Good for an overnight stay. No restaurants nearby so we has to go into the town. Very secure parking.
Cons: needed a 2nd pillow. Also no hand towel in bathroom but no real problem
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Secure parking was a big reason why I booked here, clean room and decent standard accommodation very easy to find and close to the ferry terminal. Great value for money
Cons: Not having any cafe/restaurant on site was a little inconvenient but I knew this before I booked and there is no problem ordering food to be delivered in for you to eat. Limited reception hours could cause a problem but was ok for my arrival time which was before 9pm
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation is completely clean, tidy. The staff is kind.
Cons: Although I asked for a quiet room, I got noisy. Tourist tax was payable locally, even though booking.com promised it was included in the price. I was angry.
Le Richelieu - Le Havre - Bedroom
9
7.8 Good (667 reviews)
Overview Reviews
A stay at Le Richelieu places you in the heart of Le Havre, steps from Le Havre Cathedral and 3 minutes by foot from Museum of Natural History. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out.
7.5 Good
Pros: We had a little balcony overlooking the street.
Cons: In the listing it said car parking. There was none.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Close to ferry and shops
Cons: Staff not that helpful, overcharged for a mediocre breakfast €9 advertised as €6. walls paper thin very noisy rooms from other travellers. Alright for just an overnighter, Wouldn’t recommend to any of my friends.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location was excellent, bed was comfortable, towels good
Cons: The bathroom: blocked sink, mouldy shower, broken towel rail, cistern running noisily all night. Balcony for which we paid more: broken seat, dead plants; arrival- they had OKed our arrival time but when we got there it was locked up. Spoke to an intercom, let in, had to find key in dark. No indication of WiFi code anywhere. As had stipulated parking provision, but was in fact paid parking in the street. I feel the reviews and description of hotel mislead us
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it was a great experience as a solo traveler, it exceeded my expectations, very safe and great location. I fell in love with the color scheme and the interiors of the hotel. *p.s there are no lifts but that shouldn't be a problem, it's a 3 floor building. Friendly staff, clean room with amazing view, clean and tidy washrooms, *I loved the body wash ;) Budget friendly and easy to commute from station *you can take a tram or walk till the hotel from le havre station.
7.0 Good
Cons: Comfortable and central. Nice staff.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed large and comfortable Quiet arear for sleeping
Cons: Not displayed on line that tea and coffee not provided in some of the rooms.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Price is irrelevant. Official price list as exhibited in the room was 60-120€ and I paid almost 300€ for a very basic hotel (2*)! Is this legal?

Pros: Centre of town great location and great restaurant bar next door
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room, nice location!
7.5 Good
Cons: We had a room with the window to the main street, which was very loud on Thursday night - cars+people. And there is no air conditioning so we had to have open window else we would die from heat. We didn't sleep at all :( For the rest the facilities and staff is nice, but after sleepless night it is difficult to stay positive.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good beds, good help with taking our bikes!
9.6 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are very friendly. Good location.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very nice and helped us with any of our requirements. The room was nice, presentable and clean. We didn’t choose breakfast but the owner was very happy to make us some tea and coffee. It’s really well located next to the town and close to the beach. We had a great stay thank you
Cons: The bed just needed to be a little bit bigger :)
7.9 Good
Pros: I had a delicious and light breakfast with my black coffee, but the location was good and not far from the beach as it is close to all the requirements I need to travel.
Cons: There is something that must be in the hotel, where the toiletries lose hair towel, as I learned that the hotel is old when I entered the bathroom not as I expected compared to the price per night.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: No tea and coffee facilities in room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location! Near the beach and good pizzeria. It is situated near Ibis Budget but with friendly price! Very clean rooms and every day changing of towels! Nice and hospitable owner :)
