There is a lacking of information between what’s on booking description of the rooms and the real status of them: dorms for 8 people with single beds do not have AC. This create a bit of confusion during my check-in and the Madame at the reception wasn’t that gentle and helpful - only the supervisor Fernando that fortunately was around could help with his kindness even if Finally I have got to deal with it by myself. Honestly they could do something more to fix their mistake. Having Said that, Rooms are ok but could be cleaned a bit deeper; toilette in the room was pretty poor with nothing to hang or put your stuff and get dirty very soon during the day. Actually could be definitely improved. Before coming back, I think I would try a new one instead of this.

Good location and a nice garden and shared kitchen. Some of the staff was helpful and nice.

In our booking we were promised a room with a garden view and ac, as well as breakfast included. The room we got was a wardrobe in the hallway with a fan and no view. The manager did change our room after we talked to him. But it left us with the feeling of being very complicated guests. Regarding breakfast did we not get any the first morning, the staff just insisted on it not being included and we did not have the time to argue for very long. The second morning another staff member did listen to our concerns. We have both travelled a lot and stayed at many different hostels, and are used to a different standard. The experience was not terrible but it was just not at all what was described and not worth the cost. Hot water for 20 seconds and a WiFi that sometimes worked when standing close to the reception. Also the swimming pool was a disaster.

The location was good

Our room smelt really odd like sewage, which we told the staff and someone just came up and put some sort of deodorising thing down the toilet which didn’t really solve the problem. It was raining really hard the first night and I woke up to a leak in our ceiling so we had to move to another room- the staff weren’t particularly apologetic. The new rooms bathroom smelt awful, like wee and the floor of the shower was filthy. Syill no apologies from the staff or anything so we complained and were offered a free breakfast on the final morning which didn’t really make up for the experience. The “facilities” are also pretty poor- the swimming pool is no longer in use and neither is the bar. The kitchen was basic.
