Amazing staff! Everyone had great english. Super nice and helpful. Did everything and beyond to make our stay enjoyable! We stays in the south building in a tween room which was surprisingly big and roomy. Sparkling clean. You can't get a better location to visit Kyoto! Hope to visit again!
Nothing. It was amazing.
Central location in middle of covered tourist streets. Walking distance to subway and many tourist attractions.
Nothing - all Japanese hotels tend to be expensive and rooms quite small - but this was a good one.
The location is superb . room are larger then usually in japan. well equipped it right in Sanjo . very close to Nishiki food market.
Excellent location for exploring the city - the main busses pass through here, the metro and trains are nearby, too Lots of shops and restaurants around; 7/11 shop downstairs Very helpful staff at reception The windows can be fully darkened (curtain), and it is absolutely quiet at night The toilet is equipped a with Japanese ‘super-toilet’, with heated seat and water-cleaning function The wifi works well Nice breakfast – serving both Japanese and Western tastes, with freshly prepared food (last order 9.45 am) The hotel has a coin-operated laundry (300 Yen) and dryer (100 Yen per 30 min.) – convenient if you have been travelling for a while
The hotel is located in a pedestrianised zone – you might have to walk the last few meters, even if you come by taxi, depending on your time of arrival The rooms are pretty small – you cannot walk on one side of the bed, and it’s tight at the far end. The design is well thought-through - you can get everywhere you need to The bath has no shower curtain – you will leave the whole bath wet when you have a shower (but the room is built for it)
The location was fabulous, as were the staff (who were very helpful) and the breakfast was great.
This was the second hotel we stayed in of this hotel group. While I appreciate that the Property in Shinjuku was larger and therefore had a lounge where drinks could be purchased, the lounge here is wanting. Yes you can bring in your own drinks but the furniture is uncomfortable, especially after a day on your feet touring.
