Good place to stay as a solo traveler for the mone
Location was excellent, close to bus station and 10 min walk to train station (karasuma line). The place was clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The shower area was very spacious (in my concideration). The heater worked perfectly and the sleeping area to me was spacious enough (i was in a shared room that had 8 beds).
The top floor restroom was fine, but the bottom one had a urinal and even though the place was clean that restroom always smelled like pee. The bed was fine to me, but I which it had a better storage box for my items, when it was opened u had to hold it ypurself to keep it open otherwise it would fall close, I don't think it would ve expensive of dificult to add a contraceptive to keep it open while it is being used. The bed was fine to me, and I think it actually helped me with body pains from so much walking during the day, but I imagine some people might find it hard, since it is a futton on a wooden floor. Other than that I think the place was actually pretty good and would definitely concider coming back there if I was to go again to Japan.
