I really like to place also breakfast. I definitely recommend this place. I stayed 5 different hostel and I can say this is the top one.

Reasonable and affordable price for a central location in Kyoto, 1min to Nishiki market, walking distance to Takashimaya and Daimaru, accessible to everywhere.
But it has shared accommodations and shared toilet, with common living area and kitchen. So you expect different crowd, young and adventurous!

Well for one thing a lot of hostels are ranked 9.00 or higher on the Location scale but this was one of the only hostels I've been to with an actually good location. Free tea and coffee and water and a nice kitchen, AMAZING phootons and lounge with a fantastic playlist. I loved it.
