Pros: Everything was amazing! I was in the smallest apartment, but it was so big! Modern, comfortable and inviting. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer to enjoy more of the amenities available. The staff were exceptionally helpful, including arranging taxis from the airport and back, so I had nothing to worry about!

Pros: The hotel is in an excellent location and is just next to St. Elisabeth's Cathedral. Despite being in the city centre, the hotel is very quiet and we had no trouble with outside noise. Parking, which is free of charge, is conveniently located in a secured area behind the hotel. Our room was very spacious and high-quality toiletries (L'Occitane) were provided. The welcome drink allowed for many options; in fact, we used it to have a coffee after we had already checked out.
Cons: Breakfast options were quite basic, especially given the price level. The actual buffet area is also very small, so it was difficult to move around if there were even just a couple of people at the buffet. It's also strange that the spa/wellness centre is closed during the summer months.

Pros: Nice and clean. The bed is great. The air conditioning is great. It was really hot outside so coming into a cool room was terrific. Everyone except one receptionist was friendly. This is overall a nice hotel right on the main drag.
Cons: Room was small. The bathroom is tiny and hard to get in and out of. I had no hot water on first night. It was resolved the next morning. To get into and out of the parking area you have to get out of the car to push a button. In rain it is no fun.

Pros: Good guarded parking, nice staff, clean and comfortable room. In special requirements we asked, if they could include some vegan options for breakfast. The usual answers from hotels are "sorry, we have only our standard menu" or "we will try to include some options" or (very rare) "yes, we have vegan options", but in this time the answer was "Of course, we will prepare a vegan breakfast. It would be helpful if you wrote us what you prefer for breakfast." We gave a list, so they could choose something to prepare, but they made EVERYTHING from that list, even vegan pancakes and vegan oatmeal!
Cons: Other guests liked vegan pancakes too much, so we didn't have much left. :)

The newly opened and reconstructed Beryl boarding house is situated near the Thalia Theatre in the centre of the Kosice city and offers a wide range of amenities and a homely atmosphere. Cons: Well During our stay there was a wedding in a hotel, which we had been warned about, but I neever imagined this will be as loud as it was, we didn't sleept till 4 AM. The key reason is lack of AC in the room (which was a surprise, and we had to open windows as it was alsmot 30C in a room) but once windows were open we heared weddign voices as party was in semiopen ballroom - besically outside in front of our room. Breakfest was just ok, coffee was a mistake (nescafe automat) . it was my wife birthday so we wnated to have a dinner, but hotel staff was completly loss and didn't know how to serve us, I was walked to room on other side of hotel ( as restaurant was booked for wedding) where few tables were set, but when I asked for menu, lady just disapered leaving me alone... Finally we have been served in the corner of the breakoutarea, with food which was tasty and fresh ( at least that) I am sure this wasn't normall because of weeding, but hotel should consider to stay closed if they organize weedding as this is not leaving a good impression. It wasn't woirth the money we had to pay. If you get notice there will be wedding cancel your stay, you won't enjoy nor relax during stay.

Pros: It is convenient to the public transport (major bus and train station). It was a short pleasant walk to the centre of town.
Cons: This was one of the most disappointing places we have stayed in. It was advertised as a deluxe room and it was larger than usual and looked very nice. However the air conditioning wasn't working so we were very hot. The WiFi was weak and intermittent so very frustrating. The TV didn't work properly despite a call to reception. The pillows were soft and when I inquired with the receptionist about alternative pillows I was told they were all the same. My husband requires a firm pillow and for the money and ratings we expected something better. The restaurant was also a shambles- it felt like it was being run by the temporary staff who didn't know what they were doing. The evening meal was very poor but I don't always expect a small hotel to have great meals. But the breakfast was inexcusable! Nothing was ready when we arrived; the only thing offered was eggs in various versions. There was nothing to drink, not even water and when we enquired the young woman made a pot of coffee which I suspect was instant coffee. If they were not able to provide a service I would rather they were honest ie say that the restaurant wasn't available. I'm not able to recommend this property

Pros: The location was terrific. Only a couple of blocks from Old Town, so we walked everywhere. The two rooms we stayed in were clean, comfortable and had lovely decor. The breakfast buffet was more than could be asked for. The staff made us feel welcome.

Cons: Reception Desk - I was checking in on the 27th of September and I don't remember the name of receptionist but I didn't like the fact that I need to provide my ID, my Passport also, even though I booked this place with my booking account, where all my personal information stored. Also the way receptionist requests documents is not friendly at all. Hotel needs renovation - almost each piece of furniture in the room was with scratches or with broken pieces. When I ordered breakfast to the room, I had completely broken table - with one missing part of the desk.

Pros: Modern hotel with spacious rooms, very kind staff and really good restaurant. We enjoyed the views from the room and the location is walking distance from the center of Košice. The staff was really helpfull and they did everything we requested.
Cons: The immediate neigbourhood does not offer anything, but the location is really close to the center so its not a problem.
