We very much liked the area of the hotel
Breakfast was not tasty, it was plenty of things in buffet but unfortunately food had not much of a taste...
Loved how it had its own beach, amazing views of the sunrise. Pools were great, plenty of options to eat in the hotel. Great night entertainment
Gym facilities weren’t great - limited equipment
35 eur for a diner buffet style with mediocre food, whereas for 15 eur one can have a splendid lunch or diner around the sea and poolside on the premises...this was a real joke
We had a wonderful stay, with an unexpected and very generous upgrade to the most beautiful villa with a private pool almost on the beach. We were very well looked after, everyone was very professional and helpful. The hotel never felt crowded, the beach is great with great swimming, and the best watersports centre - our children had windsurfing lessons, and did a fun ride on an inflatable. Most relaxing holiday.
The breakfast was very good and various. The general outlook and comfort of the rooms was ok. Rooms are spacious with balcony with a nice seaview. There is enough car park space.
There is a treated water pipeline which releases treated water in the sea just 100 meters away from the hotel coast (you can understand it from the greenesh color in the sea) which smells bad when the wind doesn't blow or blows on shore. It could have been moved to another spot. The open buffet lunch is overpriced (20 Euros per person).
Staying at the Grecotel Kos Imperial Thalasso means having a view of the Mediterranean Sea that is unparalleled along with lots of activities to do within the area such as spending the day on the beach or doing various activities in the water elements at the hotel. The pool at the resort is massive and allows for lots of swimming, however the kids and the adults in your traveling party will also enjoy the lazy river that flows through the hotel. There is also a spa on site, and it has many treatments including using different ancient techniques passed down from the ancient Greeks to rejuvenate and revitalize people. There are 5 different restaurants and three different bars on site that offer everything from fine dining to casual fare.
The rooms at the Grecotel Kos Imperial Thalasso are quite luxurious and divided into different levels that include the double room, bungalow, petit family bungalow, junior bungalow suite, family room, family bungalow, and the bungalow mansionette. The size is the biggest difference between the different room types, for example, the suites have sitting areas along with sofas that can be converted into beds. There are also large floor to ceiling windows, and many of the rooms have views right onto the water.
Staying at the Grecotel Kos Imperial Thalasso means that you are getting some of the best that Greek resort hospitality has to offer. The best part about the resort is that it has everything a family of travelers could want for a great time.
