Cons: Zero
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very responsive & attentive to all minor details! Their care & professionalism guarantees a most peaceful stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely thatched beach-side chalets. Excellent staff. Beautiful beach location, with soft sand.
Cons: Seemed a bit expensive for Thailand - but we haven’t any previous experience of beach resorts in Thailand.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beach was beautiful and we almost always had it to ourselves. Travelling into the hotel by boat, we saw many locations with very crowded beaches, but the beach at this location was clear and empty most of our visit. Having our own pool at our room was also a treat and worth the cost. The breakfast buffet each morning had everything we needed. There was a cook for omelettes, bacon and other meats, fruit and deli meat/cheese choices, etc... All very good! The staff here also tend to you constantly, very nice! When we traveled to dinner, they picked us up in a golf cart. When we sat in the beach chairs they showed up with a bucket of ice and water bottles. They have scheduled hours for bringing fruit, ice cream, and afternoon tea to guests. The person I was travelling with had a birthday during our trip and the hotel showed up with a birthday cake for her. Wonderful service!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent Resort and the beach is crazy. I will come again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The beach is unbeatable, it is almost like a private beach. The team is really professional and make their best effort to ensure your comfort. Nice layout of room. The food is good, especially the seafood buffet with fire show, worth to try.
Cons: We stayed in room 109 next to the main pool, it is convenient as we have kids with us, yet lack of privacy if it is for couple.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: May be some activities for kids ...and a small play area to keep them busy and interested
Cons: Breakfast can have a few more options in form of cuisines
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We went there for just a two nights stay for our Honeymoon! We love how friendly and efficient the staffs were. They made us feel very welcomed even from the start. I like it that they were considerate as we are muslims so they try to provide us with muslim friendly food (no meat/no alcohol). The room we stayed in was marvelous, we were welcomed with our chosen essential oil, choice of drinks, our chosen natural soap bars and soft music. I love how that there are freebies during the stay, like the welcome drink, the 1pm fruits, 2pm ice creams and the 3-5pm tea time! The general manager was very nice too! Thank you GM Pornthep Hantrakarnpong and also one of the staffs, Jel! Their food is also amazing!
Cons: There were bunch of lizards and ants, but what to expect, it’s their natural habitat after all heheh
6.3 Good
Pros: nice environment Nice complimentary fruits and afternoon tea Great beach and water activities
Cons: Bad attitude staff in the lounge of ao Prao pier Not so good housekeeping Far from the groceries

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place. Right on the beach, lovely location, very friendly staff. Rooms were big, clean and very nicely decorated. Nice pool and plenty of beds and towels. The Buzz resturant is excellent if you love Thai food. We ate there every day and Wibol (and Joon) were excellent in recommending dishes and looking after us.
Cons: Transfer from mainland was poor. Over 15 minutes late, disorganised and no one seems to be in charge. Boat was heavily loaded on one side and we had to change in flight in choppy waters. Found the food and beers in Breeze the most expensive in all our many Thailand stops.
6.0 Good
Cons: It took the Hotel three reminders and more than one day to fix the wifi. First the Signal was so low that it did not work
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and very tidy, the facilities were excellent and the atmosphere of the resort was excellent. We all really enjoyed our stay and will be back again. I especially loved the no plastic policy and they provided you with a tote bag to use whilst shopping on the island. This is the resort to come too for a relaxing and peaceful time away.
Cons: Everything was perfect
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room is big with beautiful view. The restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful in explaining the details of the food and drinks. Very quiet area and relaxing. SOME of the front desk staff are friendly. Just 3 minutes walk from hotel to the pier. The room rate included the boat shuttle service
Cons: Still seeing some big pieces of rubbish and dog dung near the beach which make us dont feel good if walk on the beach barefooted.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very good thought through, small and cosy, very clean, very relaxing.
Cons: Location is outside the national park, so the beach is a bit boring comparing to other places on the island, but it also means less people, which is a great advantage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for 2-3 night stay Quiet location Not too far from 7-11 Very close to the pier
Cons: -
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A private beach
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A very nice small hotel with an excellent restaurant. Clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff. We would definitely visit again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: All staffs are kind, lovely swimming pool & restaurant. Quite place!
Cons: Just there were so many spiders and aunts. Except that, all good
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location was great.
Cons: Aircon was SO SO loud. Tried another room and same problem. Spent every night turning A/C on and off to try and get some rest. Staff do not speak English meaning ordering breakfast preferences was impossible.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice new hotel. Clean rooms. Very good and tasty Thai restaurant and seafood was amazing. Fresh and tasty. But breakfasts I would improve. Very limited choice. But for 2-3 days it is ok. The beach is nice, but not so beautiful as on the other sides of the island. And as the hotel is new they don't have shadows from the trees/palms. So you can't spend all day in the hotel/beach as it's to sunny and hot. And you will be always under direct sun. The great thing about this hotel - they have FREE shuttle boat from Ao Prao Pier. And the terminal their is amazing- with aircone, cafe, clean toilets etc! And it's complimentary! We didn't know about it.
Cons: When I called to the hotel at the day of check in and asked about their complimentary shuttle boat from the pier they couldn't not explain me well that they have a Free boat at from Ao Prao Pier. And we took the public boat from Ban Phe Pier. And pay extra money. But when we checked out we were told that there is a complimentary boat right from our hotel! And we arrived in 30 mins to a beautiful, clean terminal with aircone! So we were very disappointed that we payed extra money for return tickets for public boat.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely peaceful hotel with a nice small beach. Very nice personnel & smooth service. Smooth boat ride included in the package. Good restaurant in the hotel.
Cons: You needed a motorbike to move around, but also walking distance ok to the center/bigger beach.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A ferry terminal shuttle is provided at no charge, and free self parking is available onsite.
7.1 Good
Pros: Was ok. Nothing special but adequate
Cons: The rooms were a little tired but adequate. You show photos of the premium delux which is not the same as premium. Also they failed to mention the courtesy boat so paid an outside company to take us which is no big deal but could have saved £65
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Bed were fantastic, great size rooms.
Cons: More choice of fruit and cereal at breakfast. Huge choice of noodles and rice but less for western visitors.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and restorant very good, different style, asian, european and very good fresh fruits ! Very nice and helpful staff. Answer directly if you have a problem. High quality. The two private beaches of the resort and cleanliness, you can eat or serve yourself drinks at any time. Scooter rental in front of the hotel and boat service included that takes you back to the mainland every day.
Cons: Our cottage was a little old. We didn’t appreciate the fact that we wanted to pay for some ice cubes to bring back to our cottage, especially for 4 days of stays and the price paid. It was average.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent resort facilities, excellent breakfast and meals in the restaurant nearby, staff very kind and warm. Very clean accomodations. Good wifi. Pleasant weather.
Cons: The beach close to the hotel has many boats, a bit dangerous for swimming.
7.9 Good
Pros: Excellent facilities very friendly staff great location.
Cons: Clean comfortable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The pool, the location , the room.
Cons: The reception employee wasn't nice at all .
7.1 Good
Pros: Three swim pools in this resort!
Cons: Only 15 minutes for bike rental.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful and relaxing
8.8 Excellent
Cons: The pool staff were not very helpful. They were constantly on their phones and hard to get any service from them. Also, never any margherita pizza which we found to be very strange as they would do other pizzas. Kids not happy that there was no margarita pizza.
7.1 Good
Cons: service at pool bar very slow not efficient

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful place emerged in nature
Cons: Lots of sandflies. Better put mosquito repellant
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Quiet. Beach location. Excellent food. Privacy of the cottage. Great staff. Being at the end of the road no traffic.
Cons: Poor WiFi and overly expensive wine!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff:) They were so kind and very helpful
Cons: Even if the location is quite nice unfortunately I do not think the same for the sea. I stepped on a sea urchin and realized that there were others who faced with the same problem from hotel guests.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. We got to try some lovely thai dishes that we'd never had as breakfast items. And we got to eat at the beach or under a roof with the beach and see not even 5 feet ahead of us. It was amazing.
Cons: The Monsoon conked out the tv cables, so that was the only thing missing. But we were happy to enjoy the environment of the resort and spend time outdoors.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location and that it's way more quiet than other places on the island. The hotel is well maintained and also Instagram worthy ;) The rooms are spacious and clean and we felt very comfortable.
Cons: The staff is really friendly and they're absolutely doing their best, but communication was a bit difficult. I know that one can't expect everyone to speak perfect English, but maybe at least at the reception, it should be better. Maybe some written information in the room about wifi, shuttle, activities etc. would help to improve communication, so you don't have to aks about little everything. Also, the menu in the restaurant should contain important ingredients like meat. It's not a nice surprise if you order a shrimp dish and it comes with ham.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very calm and relaxing place. Laid back but service minded staff. Great Thai food
Cons: Sand bugs at the beach pretty much ruined the stay for me. Not fair to blame the resort for this but a warning would have been nice. (I do not want to share a photo of my 50+ bites from being 10 minutes on the beach, they are rather unpleasant to look at) Also the western food type part of breakfast was really bad, but made up for by the Thai options.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and large private beach
8.3 Excellent
Pros: V friendly staff. The food in the restaurant was absolutely amazing, we ate on the beach under the fairy lights listening to the lapping waves.
Cons: The shower is outside with leaves and berries falling from the overhanging trees, quaint but a bit uncomfortable

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and laundry facilities. Guests may use a ferry terminal shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
6.3 Good
Pros: The garden area is quite nice and the beach section is great for peace and quiet, and for kids. The pool is good too, but only for adults or older kids. The free ferry to and from the island is a great touch and very handy.
Cons: For the price we paid in low season, 2,700 baht for a cottage, we got a semi detached one, but was expecting a detached, we thought this was a bit expensive for what we got. The room was quite small with no chairs for sitting, and the mattress was on the floor with little space. For a family of 3 this was quite cramped. The pool didn’t have a kids shallower end, but this is not necessarily the resort’s fault, but made it hard for my 2 year old kid to enjoy it unaccompanied. The breakfast was way too basic for what we paid, even when we came down with over an hour left before it finished, some things were not replenished. So, it’s not a buffet as such, because you need to order the American style set.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: That the reception closes at 11h pm
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Really nice place to stay on Samed island. We chose it because of free transfer from Ban Phe, and it was very convenient and very well organized. The breakfast was very good as well as lunches served in the restaurant. We enjoyed our stay.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were fantastic especially Min Aung who went out of he’s way to help with anything we needed. Also the pick up and drop off system to the property was really easy.
Cons: The location is a little far from the action but this could also be considered a positive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was exceptional.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beach is clean and beautiful.
Cons: Can’t snockling in front of resort.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very Convenient, free shuttle boat and land transfer to hotel. Friendly staff.Quiet samdy beach

Baan Supparod - Ko Samet - Building

8.7 Excellent (58 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Baan Supparod in Rayong, you'll be in a national park, within a 10-minute walk of Hat Sai Kaew Beach and Pineapple Beach. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. A ferry terminal shuttle is provided at no charge, and free self parking is available onsite.
6.3 Good
Pros: Service and staffs are the only great things.
Cons: Location is not as good as its price. I paid for 3,600 thb/night for the resort locates beside the beach but it’s sharp rock beach that you cannot go to swim or sunbathe. Even they allow you to walk from the resort to Sai-Kaew beach through Sai-Kaew resort but it comes with tons of regulation that deny to use any beach facilities. Another thing is breakfast, it’s just a la cart that you can order only one menu and if you order Thai breakfast, forget about any bread, toast or egg as you have to pay for it. Just only simple salad (lettuce, tomato, and onion with 2 nasty sauces) and coffee that you can refill. These are all what I paid 3,600 THB/ night for !!
7.1 Good
Pros: Helpfull staff. Lovely white houses in a beautiful garden.
Cons: Not very lively
5.4 Okay
Pros: This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
Cons: Got to the property and expected a white sand beach with use of a swimming pool. When we arrived the property has no white sanded beaches, only rock. Could not swim in the ocean here! Ok, we thought we will just use the swimming pool, no big deal. When we arrived at the pool there was a security guard who immediately started yelling at me for putting my toe in the pool, thought this was very strange! At this point we all went and put our bathing suits on for a swim in the pool. Eight of us came back to the pool, my 15 year old son and the rest of our family. As we started to enter the pool, this same security guard stated that we could not swim in the pool with board shorts and regular swim wear, which I have used through the world. We were told rudely that the men had to use European swim wear. Speedo type swimwear and bikinis for the girls. So basically we were banned from using the swimming pool. This property does not have their own pool they share a pool with another resort next-door. It felt like there was some kind of feud going on between the two property and we got caught in the middle. The staff at the desk keep giving us the runaround about a refund, as we had book this nightmare hotel for 3 nights. Finally after hours of talking to the manager at the property they gave us a telephone number in Bangkok to help us cancel the reservation. Booking.com tried to contact this number and was given the runaround by the staff in Bangkok. Finally after a few hours and a lot of fighting the hotel agree to give us all our money back expcept for the use of 1 room for the night. The price was around $90 a night. Would also like to mention that all the other hotels were charging around 200 baht for a massage, this hotel was charging around 2000 baht if I remember correctly. Very pricey for hotel with no beach, no pool, and nothing to do here. All the white sanded beaches are on the other side of the island!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location and grindly helpgul stagf. Would recommend!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were nice
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Deco is kinda funky and the bungalows are really clean. Beach view bungalows are perfect. The restaurant offers a great view on the sea This place is on the sea...even if no direct access to the beach its still beautifull
Cons: Breakfast is very simple with very small plate of watermelon in a country where you would expect papaya pineapple in larger quantity..feel like a hostel breakfast... Price is way to high for the level of service provided..should be priced like a 5* hostel
5.4 Okay
Cons: No pool and this is a waterfront property but you can’t swim out the front you must have motorbike to get to Beach otherwise ten minute walk
Ao Cho Grandview Hideaway Resort - Ko Samet - Building

When you stay at Ao Cho Grandview Hideaway Resort in Rayong, you'll be on the beach, within a 10-minute walk of Ao Wong Duan Beach and Ao Cho Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous little beach, super nice - and better than expected - beachfront suite. Surprisingly good food and nice fire shows. Very clean, room very well appointed, premium amenities. And this view in the morning... The resort is adorable and the overall stay will leave a lasting great memory.
Cons: Very little. Great for a weekend, but would lack activities for a longer stay. That being said, you know to expect this when coming to Samet, and it’s part of its charm. The only downside worth mentioning is the lack of welcoming feel from the front desk staff. Restaurant and bar staff were nice and helpful, however front staff were consistently unwelcoming from check-in to check-out. This is the Land of Smiles after all, and it would not hurt to deliver a bit more on this promise.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was huge and beautiful. The beach is very clean with white fine sand. I think this is the best location in koh samed so far.
6.3 Good
Pros: Privacy
Cons: No exhauste in toilet.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Everything about property is ok fine accept transportation.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful Location, helpful and great stuff
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The beach is really nice. Quiet but when you want a fun and lively it not too far to walk. For Samet this is a really good place to stay.
Cons: On the room we stay on the first day there are some smell really bad. Luckily it gone in the morning.
7.1 Good
Pros: The remote location is beautiful. The room I stayed in was very nice and always properly cleaned. Breakfasts were nice and plentiful. Water is very calm in the bay which made for great swimming.
Cons: The staff are nice but a bit standoffish. I think greater attention needs to be given to better client service They should have a free or nominal charge shuttle. Staff should say hello to you e good morning when they first see you. Prices for food are much higher than those of the resort that is 100 yards away. After I discovered that i would just eat the other place. Also the room snack prices were much higher than the convenience store located 50 yards away. It would also be nice if they rented out bicycles given the distance of the hotel to the town site.
6.7 Good
Pros: Nice and quiet beach, good room, friendly people, great speedboat service, breakfast and lunch area at the beach
Cons: Rooms are a bit outdated , no swimming pool, restaurant is too expensive
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The service they provided for our room, and the astonishing view from the window. The beach, at 10 seconds from the room, is simply wonderful and due to its positions is almost private. The comfort in general in the resort.the restaurant, where they grill fish in front of you with a fireworks show! The Thai or Western breakfast, with a daily changing buffet. This place is fantastic.
Cons: Just as suggestion for improving: Anticipate the breakfast time, since they are in the east cost would be nice to drink a coffee at dawn!
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: The electricity of the whole property was out from midnight to two o’clock in the morning. The staff said that could do nothing about it. There was no swimming pool and the room is smaller than you see in the picture. Moreover, we were fined for a pair of lost old slippers of the hotel for 300 baht. It was really ridiculous!

He's truly a great impression to start our stay with Baan Minnie full of joy.
Cons: Nothing.. love every piece of the room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was nice and quite, right at the back of the main street. Lots of places to rent scooters around the hotel. Room was clean and fresh towels provided if you ask, staff is very nice, even have a cute doggy hanging around. Short walk to the beach and main street has many food options, easy walk from the pier as well. Nice big fridge and good working AC.
Cons: The room wasnt the same one from the pictures online, Ours didn't have any windows so felt a little stuffy after our third night there, no sunlight.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We really liked the comfortable, clean and cosy rooms. We really felt at home in baan Minnie. The rooms were cleaned everyday. The location is between the beach and the pier.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really clean and comfortable room (no window on the outside but not bothering since during the day you will be outside), quiet but close to the main street, really nice host!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was fantastic, beach was very near and clean, food options like Funkey ,Monkey were best. overall I loved the place
Cons: It would be better if we have more food options.
7.5 Good
Pros: Rooms were great and location just far await from the Chinese madness. Sitting on a lounger at the top end of white sand was amusing, lots of boats smell of gasoline constantly and Chinese tourist always wot a laugh
Cons: Although quiet the location was a bit close to the Chinese tour parties could put some beer in the fridge We have a tour group checkin whilst we were there .
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, next to main part of the island, but at the same time very quiet! Has pretty small privat beach
Cons: VERY hard to find, no signs next to road
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and quite large
Cons: It was too far from main beach and activities

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is great if you're after a peaceful getaway. It's very relaxing and tranquil, set in lovely grounds . It is quite remote, so I usually hire a scooter at the port when I arrive (about 300 TB/day), otherwise you have to rely on the island 'taxi service' (hop on/hop off covered trucks that periodically circuit the island - quite expensive and less than reliable). The resort is quiet, with a pretty beach - perfect for romantic couples or single travelers wanting to unwind . The bungalows have been recently refurbished and are very good. The buffet breakfast is good, with a selection of Thai and 'Western' foods.
Cons: The beach is small and pretty to look at and sit on, but the sea itself is not great for swimming - it's only knee-deep, with rocks and sharp coral underfoot. But there are plenty of other beaches nearby if swimming is your thing.
7.5 Good
Pros: reasonable with the price. and nice place relaxing romantic.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A great and very quiet place for relaxing !!! Friendly staff and small, but cean beach.
Cons: - - -
7.5 Good
Pros: We have stayed here several times before, and always enjoyed it. Not perfect by any means, but having tried a few other resorts on the island this is probably the best in the price bracket. Breakfast good, location remote and relaxed.
Cons: No major complaints at all. The pillows are awful (I still have a pain across my shoulders, after 1 week!). The bathroom door was opaque glass, which meant my partner was rewarded with the delightful view of me taking a shower, sitting on the toilet etc etc. Great if you're into that....if not, then not.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very relaxing and quiet. Evening Menu very good and not expensive. Chilled out hippy atmosphere. Weather beaten huts. Staff helpful. It wasn’t busy.
Cons: It’s right at the far end of the island. 6km from the main port. We got a speedboat which was not cheap but very quick. We paid 300baht round trip for 5 pax. As we were only there 3 days we didn’t bother going anywhere else. but if you are going for longer you might be bored. They play the same music every night although they didn’t mind me taking over as DJ after a few drinks. Apparently the taxis are expensive to go to the port. The breakfast is ok and as many others have said the coffee is not very nice but this was not a huge deal for us.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing there was nothing
Cons: There was nothing to be like
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is very private and quiet. The area is clean and good looking. So if you want to relax, it is perfect. You can rent a scooter or go by taxi if you wish to move around on the island. The staff is very polite and the restaurant staff always give you an honest smile. The food is amazing! Every food we tasted was just perfect.
Cons: There was no wardrobe to hang clothes in. There was a stand for clothes hangers, but only two clothes holders. So we couldn't unpack our bags and hang up our clothes. There was no shower curtain, so after a shower the whole bathroom floor was wet. The towels did not smell so good and for that reason did not feel clean either. The room need to be renovated, as it is a bit worn down. The beach is nice, but there are very much sharps rocks in the water, so be careful. The coffee served at the breakfast taste horrible. So if love and looking forward to the morning coffee, be prepared for the worst.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, cottage, and atmosphere was perfect. The lunch and dinner was amazing.
Cons: The breakfast buffet needs improvement. The breakfast was often cold.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: There was not much nice in this place, apart from the location. The room was quite old and not very clean, facilities poorly maintained, breakfast poorly served and very little choice, and so on. A place that costs 100 euros per night needs to offer more, definitely.
7.1 Good
Pros: Very tranquil, beautiful and family orientated. Menu was extensive, quality good and overall well priced. The ability to rent fishing rods with bait from the hotel as well as snorkelling and kayaks were good options.
Cons: The downsides the staff were not very attentive and orders had to be continually repeated in English and Thai. The wi-fi was extremely poor and very much needs upgrading.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: amazing garden at inside court
Cons: a little bit noisy at night from by close to shore
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the staff. Very friendly and caring bunch of people. They can understand and speak English too which was an added advantage. The resort is homely and value for money.
Cons: Not a huge negative and definitely DID NOT hamper our stay but would have been five star service if they did enquire about cleaning the room up or refilling toiletries. Guess we could have also asked them for refills instead of thinking they wud have housekeeping to the standards of a five star resort
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very green, nice bungalows, and above all very very nice staff. A good place to relax in the green when you are tired of the beach.
Cons: Breakfast in morning (same for everybody) especially coffee
5.0 Okay
Pros: Big room
Cons: Staff were rude and did not provide a sheet when we paid extra for a cot for our child. Staff came by twice to say we had closed front door too quickly.
6.3 Good
Pros: Room cleaning and generator staff was friendly and helping, also good room cleaning. Plus generator is the only person with decent English qualification.
Cons: The lady in charge of the place gave us absolutely no moment of peace with applying excessive psychological pressure with house rules which are over rated for a holiday place. For example motorbike parking area is skipped with few meters, there is yelling and fuss...same goes if you don't comply with other rules such as hair dryer to be returned on time, the crucial deposit on the first day that also bleeds out your local currency balance. There is a long list. Also they dont give assistance about the island, for example we asked about renting bicycle, they told us was not available on the island but we found it next door. Language skills very poor. Internet connection very poor, can hardly open email. Breakfast very limited, nothing like the pictures. Excessive mosquitoes and lady asks you to supply for your own-self. The closest convenience store is a huge tourist scam, they charge five times the value (such rip off!!)yet the hotel does nothing about it even though they are fully aware. All the support/services are called off once you are one day away from leaving; for example we got no toilet paper, drinking water and soap and similar on the last day.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and nice rooms. Staff tries to do everything they can.
Cons: A real coffee or even filtered coffee would be nice in the morning.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, very close to the beach, room comfortable and very clean.
6.7 Good
Pros: The room is very clean and the area of the resort is well maintained with many beautiful plants!
Cons: - location. Please, be aware that it is very isolated from other parts of the city. There is not much on the north and you definitely need a scooter to go around. - even simple communication is very difficult as the staff do not speak English - the staff is very controlling. I have got the feeling that the manager is very strict with the guests and the workers. - someone from the staff moved my motorbike without telling me, and I was very stressed thinking that it was stolen. It is not acceptable. - breakfast. I did not understand their system. They give you some food even without asking preferences and all guests have different food. I do not eat onions and 2 days I have had some eggs with onions which I could not eat. It is sad that with so much variety of fruits and vegetables available on the island for a very affordable price they don't organise a better breakfast. - you have to walk to the beach and rent a bed from another resort. I spent their only half of the day and then went to explore other places with the scooter like beautiful Ao Wai, Ao Nuan and Ao Phrao. - much overpriced and would not come back.
7.9 Good
Pros: The place is very quiet unlike the popular and crowded Sai Kaew. Although the resort is not right on the beach, we enjoy the peace and tranquility of the environment amid lush and well-maintained garden. The beach is a short 3 minute walk away to the nearest option. The breakfast is good and they are generous with the fruits. The owner and her daughter are very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The toilet isn’t exactly very clean. We get insects crawling out from the toilet trap every night. I think the room will be perfect if the toilet can be given an overhaul.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed everything

7.1 Good
Pros: Location is biggest plus point. Right on the beach. Neat and Clean boutique style villas.
Cons: They offer food for tour groups but not for customers staying in. was the only disappointing point. They should open the restaurant for everyone and do should do some evening activities to keep customers active.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was perfect. WiFi very good.
Cons: Rooms are being serviced late afternoon (between 13:00 and 15:00) if at all.
6.7 Good
Pros: Love the location of this hotel, and the staff are very helpful.
Cons: The hotel is totally focussed on dealing with large numbers of day tripper Chinese tourists who arrive early each day ( by 9 am) and completely take over the bar and restaurant area, meaning that guests are unable to have breakfast there, and are woken up early as these groups are VERY loud
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great Location right on the beach, nice bungalows,
Cons: hotel caters and serves every day hordes of chinese day tourists from the mainland. Makes it extremely busy during daytime.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Convenience
Cons: Nice garden along the ways to the resort itself
5.8 Okay
Pros: Closed with the beach
Cons: Toilet bad smell, no hair dryer
6.3 Good
Pros: Room was very nice though. Clean and homely.
Cons: Super noise place . Work up by speed boats and jet ski every morning. Lots of very noise Chinese. Whe i asked to use restaurant was told to look on beach as restaurant was for Chinese guests. Didnt feel as a westerner was catered for and felt very out off place as more intrested in Chinese tourists.
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff
Cons: Crowded with loud Chinese day tourists!!! No romantic peace anymore!!! :-(
7.9 Good
Pros: Super close to the beach
Cons: A lot of mosquito get into the bedrooms I had to buy bug spray.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The only hotel on the island with no free breakfast. Staff were rude. Catered to Chinese tourists that come by the boat load.

6.7 Good
Pros: Everything in overall were good. The beach and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
Cons: The one and major thing we find it terrible here is food and the service from the restaurant. Especially, the restaurant manager s attitudes. He has no manners and not polite at all.
6.7 Good
Pros: On the beach. Wonderful
Cons: Not that standard I think. Overpriced area, have to rent a car or motorbike to the centre
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is very good as it is on the beach. Breakfast is ok and always found something. Nice little pool area for children.
Cons: TV no safe or coffee in room do not get a room at the top of resort (D13, D14) to many steps and no view.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean rooms, large bed, beautiful location
Cons: The staff was not very welcoming, expensive food and drinks
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location.
Cons: Rooms are extremely small.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location to beach and view
Cons: No hotel to pier
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location right on the private beach with beach chairs. Loved the quietness. Friendly staff. Excellent food ever time.
Cons: Very hard beds.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Place right on the beach, so that was nice. Very quiet, no traffic noise or dogs. Rooms were clean as were bedding and towels, with comimentary shower gel and shampoo.
Cons: This place is very remote and could not drive up to the place, had to park motorbike up the top of hill and walk down or get taxi. Once therr, had to climb many concrete steps to get to the room, so no good if you are not agile or can't walk far, because there is a lot of walking and awkward steps, which could be a hazard to less agile people. The food prices were a little expensive, but then there is nowhere else to eat, so no choice but to pay unless you get a taxi into the villages. The building was old and in need of upgrading in many areas. The staff were helpful and polite.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location is good.
Cons: But, for the price (and I had already been in others hotels with similar price or less) the breakfast wasn’t very good. The bread is not good. And, there is not a lot choice ..
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The beach & staff

6.3 Good
Pros: thd breakfast was good. the pool nice. and most important just close to the sea....
Cons: i expected a little bit more for the Prince. i staid in a thai village it was nice - but itd too expensive. maybe the complete island is.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: good & quiet location with private beach, friendly service, nice to travel here with family.
Cons: breakfast should have more selection.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: location,private
Cons: ferry
6.7 Good
Pros: Nice pool, good location, rooms were clean
Cons: The staff at the front desk was not friendly. The food took so long and did not taste good. We ended up having all our meals at the restaurant next door called Baywatch Bar for our entire stay. The whole check in process was a little disorganized
7.9 Good
Pros: The location of the resort was perfect and you can experience the sound ocean waves through your windows. We stayed in a "Thai House" - which added an extra star to our experience. Food & Drinks were offered at a very reasonable price with good service. Fresh sea food Barbeque / Grill is a must have.
Cons: Being a beachfront property - Between 10:30 - 2:30, you can expect lots of motorboats commuting the travelers off & on the island, This does spoil the scene if you are soaking in the sun. The island is completely shut by 9:30PM and no drinks & food allowed on the beach.. so can be a disappointment for travelers looking for late night parties.
7.1 Good
Pros: location
Cons: Thai house
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice location
Cons: Breakfast finished too early (10am) by 09:45 there was virtually nothing left. Not late enough for a holiday resort.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location, really nice beach, nice pool, mostly friendly staff, dinner is good.
Cons: Rooms were small, Engkish tv limited to 1 news channel, and toilet was a bit stinky.
5.4 Okay
Pros: the location, the tranquillity, the dinner on the beach, those are the strength of the resort.
Cons: The value for money is poor. For similar prices, you get a much more luxurious set up on the west of the island. the rooms are basic, and the environment is ok, but not more. The staff offer very limited support and understanding.
7.1 Good
Cons: Staff could have been friendlier - particularly reception

5.0 Okay
Pros: The place was ok. You need a bike because there is not a lot around the hotel. 2 pools but the water is hot, cant blame the Pandora for that I know.
Cons: We ate Pizza one night it was so bland, no taste. Tried the full English breakfast next day. It was awful, cardboard processed stuff that looked like food, straight from the freezer to the fat fryer, no wonder nobody was eating here. Who wrote the food reviews that I had read ? Need to sort this out, we ate out every day after that. Leo beer 120 bht ! Thailand is no longer a cheep holiday destination !
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice and affordable option if you are looking for a resort on the island. 2 pools, large rooms and great value for the money. Definitely an option when staying on Ko Samet. Staff is super helpful, even the GM helped out ensuring guests are looked after - thumbs up!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean, and spacious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, i would book there again, if i went back to koh samed.
Cons: Only thing i didnt like was the lighting in the bathroom, very difficult to see, for saving.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room is quite good
Cons: The building is old
7.9 Good
Pros: All the employees were kind. Very good experience.
Cons: Far from the main street
7.9 Good
Pros: I appreciate the view and the sideseeing of the property. Inaddition, the pool is excellent with salt feel cleanliness. The location is very great and peaceful so lovely restaurants and cafe at the area. Indeed, the beach at the area is very clear more than expected never seen Samed Island as this area before.
Cons: I like the location, the veiw is completely nice with fine dining and local services around as '' Moo Ban Talay" that very warm welcome.
5.8 Okay
Cons: After my friend took the shower, she used the towel that the hotel provided to dry her body. However, she felt very itchy when using that, and found that there were lots of "dead ants" on the towel. It is quite disgusting and there were also lots of ants on the towel shelf as well. Another thing is that the staff at the reception counter at night (after 9 pm) can not speak English at all, it is so hard to communicate with her and tell her the ant problem. I even called my Thai friend to talk with the staff in the end! Really inconvenient for tourists if we met any urgent issue. The only thing that I felt great is the kind and friendly male receptionist who can speak English well in the daytime, he recommended us some restaurants and spots that really made our day.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice bar /restaurant area 2 pools and set in the side of a forest for a lovely back drop
Cons: A little bit away from the main centre but perfect for those looking for peace and quiet
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property’s location is on the quieter side of the island away from all the loud busy Chinese tourists which flock to the beach every day and night. The pools were very good and close to moonbay which was beautiful on an evening. The rooms were huge and very cheap. The poolside bar cafe offered gorgeous food and very tasty pizzas!!
Cons: Nothing ... property was very pleasant and Great location for us.
7.5 Good
Pros: Spacious. Nice scenery
Cons: Didn’t like location Local beach littered

Pros: The bungalows were excellent, the rooms average
6.3 Good
Pros: Location is beautiful. Setup of resort is good
Cons: Place is a little bit run down and not clean. Breakfast very basic. Mattresses like many Thai hotels very very hard/uncomfortable.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Great location and views.
Cons: The accommodation was very basic and outdated. The staff were also very disinterested, which was poor. The windows and door frames had gaps, which left room for mosquitos to come into the room. There was also no safe in the room, which should be a basic requirement. The pool was also very dirty!
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice room, near to beach, good behavior of staff, nice swimming pool, breakfast is manageable ( not much dishes ), good location except reaching out there ( need to go in a dirty ,strange path ) , no parking available.
Cons: Everything is perfect except reaching out there , no parking available, need to go a strange, narrow passage , no lighting in night, difficult to go other place. If you rent a bike, need to park in a strange place & go by walk through the dirty, strange path.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: The staff were very rude. The room we were allocated looked nothing like the photos.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is good, you can go to different beaches, there are lots of restaurants, massage places nearby.
Cons: The floor wasn’t clean, there was sand.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Been here a few times and love it. Great staff and very helpful when I had an issue with dates and just a lovely part of the world. Great for families and also for the romantic getaway. Definitely hire a scooter from the pier as soon as you land they are lovely people.
6.3 Good
Pros: Feeling secure because the shelters were located on the hill of private small peninsula and the restaurant was good only for dinner.
Cons: The staff especially the guy in the checking box sometimes in the afternoon he work in the bar and didn’t want to made some coffee by the machine ,He said “No one can do” but if you try to do it by yourself with your knowledge about coffee machine,He will stop you and made the easy pushing at the button to made a cup of coffee for you. That was very ridiculous for me. No food for lunch until 3pm but buffet breakfast run around 7:30-10:30 am. The pool was ok if you like sour water and itching around your eyelids
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Price and room not ok
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's very good view, and very good staff. You will see a good view with a little short way to the beach. This hotel is also sea side but no have beach but it it very perfect for me and my friends.
