The facility was in the midst of great ambiance and fresh greens all around. Very calm and soothing atmosphere with a spectacular environment. Staff members were very warm and welcoming and to name one, Arm, the facility supervisor was all out to ensure guests had a memorable stay with great hospitality!
I guess the facility could look at improving their water pressure in the shower as the pressure was pretty low and did not have a satisfying shower throughout our stay, but again this is just an improvement suggestion. One other thing is to manage cats straying around the facility and at times gets to guests at the restaurant and a few occasions, refused to leave our room which could be quite unhygienic.
Bamboo bungalow’s were very cute!
LOCATION... the reviews of this property are very inaccurate. We were essentially stranded at the resort after 5pm because they did not offer their water shuttles after that hour. The main pier is not walkable and there is apparently no road access to the property so you cannot take a taxi. We were literally stranded there for an entire night with nothing to do as there is nothing really offered at the hotel other than mediocre dinner. Additionally, during the day, when you do want to leave and boat to a beach or the main pier it costs money (the hotel does not offer free shuttles other than when you check in and out). Reviews say that you can walk to main/popular beaches from the resort which we later found to be untrue. You can not swim or even walk into water at the resorts private beach; it is full of coral and sea urchins. Again, we were stranded and bored at the hotel all night. Ended up leaving the night before we were suppose to check out and got a new hotel closer to the Pier; it’s was way way better!
The staff was awesome... and the massage is must to every guest
We had some troubles with the WiFi it was unstable at night
Plastic waste everywhere
food was lovely, staff were lovely
air conditioning in the hut was rubbish, there was a massive roach, a house lizard, lots of ants, stains on the table and it was still dirty, i suppose its very difficult to clean a bamboo hut. when we arrived there was lots of work going on so there was CONSTANT noise. the owner did apologise but didn’t offer any solution. we would have love to have stayed longer as the location was lovely, but 2 days was more than enough, we moved into another hotel on the island
When you stay at The Cove Phi Phi in Ko Phi Phi, you'll be 0.8 mi (1.2 km) from Tonsai Pier. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
