All staff friendly and very polite clean room food good excellent value over all
Owner and staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Its a large but cosy pub within easy distance of many popular (and less popular walks). The family room is great and has two single beds either side of a double. Ample parking and serves a great breakfast and bar food.
It was a busy time over the NYE weekend, pub seemed short staffed and one of our meals wasn't the best. Draft ale selection was also not great due to supplier issues. Owner was genuinely apologetic. I've no doubt this was a one-off and it didn't spoil our stay.
Friendly staff and service, room was clean and comfortable, would go back, great location, lovely views from restaurant
Didn't like the peppercorn sauce, but didn't get charged for it!
staff lovely, the location was absoluty stunning, the room had a lovely view ,very clean and confortable
very squeaky bed!! so poor night's sleep
The staff left a very good impression on us, so friendly and professional. Our room we stayed in looked renovated and was clean, it had all the necessary accessories such as kettle, iron (no hairdryer though). Also provided body&hair wash. The pub had a really nice feel about it and the food tasted really nice and the breakfast the following morning was excellent.
