The location was great as only 20mins from town centre on foot but with very scenic things to see along the way. The best bus in the immediate vicinity is no 54 which goes through the city centre to the river port in one direction, and towards the Kazan Arena in the other. If you have time make sure you book the Kremlin tour, and the boat trip to Bolgar is a great day out along the Volga.
There is one step that is higher than the others in the immediate approach to the hotel concierge and this is a major trip hazard that should be marked by some black and yellow tape.
The room was surprisingly fresh, cozy and spacious and much better than we expected. Everything in hotel was clean and it was quite peaceful and quiet.
Location is a bit far away and at the end we started to be annoyed that we had to walk always long way back, or do the hussle of finding a taxi that charge reasonable price. Breakfast was not included but it could be ordered in a restartant dowstairs. We tried it once and noticed that it is not good but cost same than good breakfast in downtown’s cafeterias. The personnel does not speak any English so if you would want some assistance during your trip its possible only with Russian language. Also the air in the hotel room is not very fresh but it very easily get that “old wet building” smell. It was okay for few days but I would not stayed more than 2-3 days in this place.
All. i'm very exited if staying here. I wish to all staff to continue to containhotel in this amazing and pleasant conditions for travellers/
