The staff was its usual nice self.
I only get a room at the King Kam for Brew Fest, I live in Kona. After brew fest was cancelled, I decided to use the room anyway. Have a night on the town without driving. $364 for a 2nd story room, at check in I asked for free parking since the event had been cancelled. I was told "sorry, no" at check in. No special considerations from management whatsoever.
The amenities were wonderful. Location perfect
Wonderful pool-side bar Proximity to the village area Great luau (on NYE) Helpful concierge Large well stocked sundries shop Private snorkeling beach/water Super pool Across the street from Splashes' restaurant (a must try).
Nothing...great place to stay.
Now charges a $22 amenity fee along with a $25 daily parking fee. Just changed a few months ago, and was one of the last places in Kailua-Kona that hadn’t followed the resort fee trend.
Holiday stay
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
We thought the parking fees were steep.
Water front with activities right there in hotel
Not complementary breakfast too pricy for what it was !!

Beach access for the family
Very easy to get from your room, to beach to pool. Little lagoon is a very safe, easy way for kids and babies to play in the ocean.
Rooms are okay.
Great location, great staff, very nice amenities
Location, view, staff efficient.
Sliding door on bathroom, placement of toilet paper holder
Very nice
I loved the buffet and surroundings. Beautiful views and easy check out and in. Would definitely be back!!! Thank you
The parking was too tight!!!.....
Not what it was cracked up too be
Hard to say we liked anything .. for a large hotel there was not much there .
A partial ocean view was what I was supposed to have. A Venice of the busy dock and lagoon is what I got.. The room was average at best The coffee maker was about on the floor and outlets on the night stands were taken by the alarm clock and floor lamp leaving none for the gust closest to the beds Parking. 17 dollars a day for a guest?? Guests should never pay for parking another unexpected cost not shown in the details
