Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praise the hotel's stunning location and scenic views, as well as the helpful and accommodating staff. Many enjoyed the amenities and the overall atmosphere, especially the proximity to Jasper townsite and the natural surroundings. However, several reviews mention that the hotel is expensive for the value provided, with some rooms and facilities feeling outdated or under renovation. Issues with climate control, privacy, and occasional lapses in cleanliness or housekeeping were noted. Despite these drawbacks, the positive experiences with staff and the beautiful setting left many guests satisfied with their stay.

Pros (+) Good breakfast buffet, active kids lounge, beautiful location, herds of Elk roaming around
Cons (-) Staff and service could have been better. There were 3 of us to a room and after 3 days I had to track down the cleaning person to get more shampoo etc for our bathroom, as it was not replenished daily like at other Fairmont properties. The bathtub was tilted and did not have anti slip material , so we had to hang on to towel racks when showering. Junior suite lakeview room

Pros (+) Flawless service. Fabulous location with an abundance of breathtaking views. Herds of Elk wander all over the place which drew traffic to a halt.
Cons (-) Our cottage room ran out of hot water for showering. We had to wait between showers for the water to re heat.

Pros (+) Beautiful views, great for activities with family. Very friendly staffs!
Cons (-) However, the restaurant staffs were one of the worst we've ever experienced. And the food was not good.
