Breakfast was okay, we liked it, the rooms were cleaned every day. The terrace is nice at hot evenings, the location of the hotel is great, but yes - it's a bit challenging to really find the place in this labyrinth of streets :-) The neighborhood is very busy during the working days and interesting to watch people working hard.
We had a problem with our reservation - we had booked a double and a single room but when we arrived they tried to put us in a triple room. They said, there was a problem with electricity in the single room. When we refused to take the triple room we had to wait for a single room for more than one hour. In the end the single room was very nice - from the window you could see the sea, (in the triple room the windows are looking on the next house wall), but the request to put 3 people, who are not family in one room was not acceptable.

The room was clean.
The treatment of the receptionist was dodgy. He came across very sneaky and accused me of being a money lover when I told him I didn’t want extra services. Also tried convincing me on buying his book for charity purposes!! When he looked quickly at my bookings.com paper he told me that I hadn’t paid! I was really upset because he was clearly trying to con me and make me pay more... I then opened the paper and showed him the check in and out dates. He said this doesn't mean anything... when I kept showing him the dates and trying to explain to him it’s already paid for he finally accepted and still tried to argue that he is right! I was extremely upset and asked to speak to the manager, he said it’s ok... it’s ok it’s all paid. When I insisted he said he will come in two days but not a hundred percent. He told me check in is after one and to leave my bags in the lobby area. After this kind of experience I was very upset and didn’t feel it was very safe, so I took my hand language and left the big one. When I got back he didn’t assist me with the bags up the stairs nor did he seem cheerful or apologetic for earlier. I took my bags up alone as there is no left. And the stairs are quite awkward to go up. When I got into the room the disappointment continued. There was a TV that didn’t work an air conditioning system that didn’t work. The TV turns on but there is no signal, I tried over and over but to no avail. I tried to turn on the air conditioning many times but the controller was just not responding, I tried to do it from the system itself but that didn’t work either. In the bathroom it took me ages to get the water to reach lukewarm and lukewarm or a bit more than lukewarm is the hottest I could get it to. The toilet seat cover fell off as lifted it. The hanger behind the door was hanging upside down and this unusable. The room didn’t get cleaned at all while I was their. The windows didn’t have very good sound cancellation so I could hear people.

The only thing about the stay in Fors was the location
The room was just too tiny for 2 people, it should have been advertised as a single room, with a double bed ad wardrobe and our suitcases there was no space for 2 people to manage to walk around the room. Too small and cramped!!!

The breakfast is normal. Location is ok (about 10 minutes to main sightseeing). The terrace at the roof with a nice view of Bosfor.
- when ordering transfer from Ataturk airport tried to set an overpriced price (40 USD, when the real price maximum 20$ for minibus and 10$ for car, as the result we refused from hotel transfer and take taxi from airport); - provided 2 single rooms with one full-size bed instead 2 double rooms with two separate beds, change the rooms only: one room - after unpleasant negotiations with receptionist (after 1 night) and second room - after claim to booking.com (and only after 2 nights).
