Aleyzd Bale Ishigaki - Ishigaki - Building

9.1 Excellent (318 reviews)

7.1 Good
Pros: This hotel was remote - not much close to the hotel but we were looking to disconnect and unwind which is exactly what the hotel provided. A car is necessary for you to explore the island. The room (we booked a Japanese style without realizing it -- my fault!) ended up comfortable and spacious for my family. The pool and beach were very relaxing as well as the several larger public beaches close to the hotel. While the hotel was nice, it was pretty expensive and probably not worth the price tag. I would definitely go back to beautiful Ishigashi but would likely try out another hotel next time.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the spacious room, the pool always quiet, the views and the beach nearby, but above all the staff, always friendly and helpful with all requests. The hotel is a little out but we had a car so no problems for us, and we really liked the peace and quiet.
Cons: The breakfast was good but lacked variety considering the length of our stay. More fruit from the island would be great ☺️
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff is warm and helpful at all times, the facilities are well maintained and clean. The hotel is a few steps away from a beautiful beach. The location is relaxing and quiet. The room was spacious and clean.
Cons: Breakfast/ Meals: I have a few food restrictions that I didn’t think to mention because I assumed breakfast would be a buffet and I would be able to find what works for me. Unfortunately it’s not and no substitution could be made for me, but I do think it would be ideal to have it in order to give guests more options especially ones with small children. More child-friendly options at meals would be great, particularly lunch. Other than this, my stay there was excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is a perfect quiet oasis on a lush and remote island in the Pacific Ocean. Our room was fantastic! Very big, with two comfortable big beds, high ceilings, a great view to the ocean and on the pool area, a little balcony and even a small couch. While the climate was hot and very humid, the room was perfectly cooled down by the airco, and we slept very good. The staff is wonderful and helped us with every need - is it booking a restaurant, giving a short ride, ordering a taxi, and most importantly catering for our vegetarian diet. We stayed 4 nights and relaxed two full days at the beautiful and quiet pool area, while a dip into the ocean is only 50 meters away where there's a small and empty beach with calm and shallow waters. After two weeks traveling in Japan this place was our recharge oasis and we enjoyed every single minute while being there! We highly recommend this place if you want some quiet time off the touristy areas to relax and experience fantastic hospitality!
Cons: We liked everything! Just be aware that there's little public transport and you'll be best off with a rental car.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was so friendly! Beautiful hotel with good access to a beach, nice swimming pool and very nice rooms.
Cons: It is a little out of the way (not that far) but if you don't have a car I would not suggest booking here, as busses are very infrequent. This is no way the hotels' fault, just so that people know.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are lovely, helpful, welcoming, and the hotel itself is beautifully maintained, the rooms are big with lots of light, there is a beach, a swimming-pool, an inside onsen/sento style little bath, they have sometimes musicians coming for diner, etc, etc, there are too many good things to say about this place!
Lulaliya - Ishigaki - Building
2
9.0 Excellent (251 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Lulaliya in Ishigaki, you'll be by the ocean, a 4-minute walk from Kabira Bay and a 2-minute drive from Kabira Bay Beach. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely small B&B located in the Kabira bay. The rooms are simple but very comfortable and with a balcony. The communal area (inside and outside) are very comfortable. The breakfast is very good! And the owner and staff are very nice and provide you with all the info you need for your stay ! Note that this is best to rent a car, otherwise you will be very limited in your trip (that’s a general comment for everywhere in the island).
6.7 Good
Pros: The property was squeaky clean. The staff are friendly and provide a map upon arrival and tell you where the good places are to eat, and their Dining recommendations are very good and worth following. The staff also speak good English here which is a big plus. Aircon in room worked well and there was a small balcony in the room and big roof terrace. Property is very close to the town centre and Kabira Park, just a couple of mins walk. It felt very safe there.
Cons: It was more like a backpacker hostel than a guesthouse, if you are prepared for that it’s OK. It’s probably more suitable for solo travellers. The mattresses on the beds were fold up ones so you could feel the folds when in the bed. The bedlinen, whilst clean, seemed old and flimsy and the duvet inner was worn and didn’t fit properly in the duvet cover. Pillows were tiny squares and flat. If you have a suitcase there is nowhere to put it but OK if you are only travelling with a small rucksack.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Ai and An were amazing hosts and really helpful when it came to negotiating the local buses and recommendations places to visit and eat. And also lending me a laptop to watch a rugby game on! The single room I stayed in was located on the first floor and although small, was perfectly comfortable. The breakfasts were tasty and very good value for money.
Cons: There was no toilet on the first floor so it was a bit inconvenient at night or first thing in the morning. The showers are also on the ground floor but I didn’t mind that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff are amazing. So helpful with maps and recommendationS for food in the evenings, they are the super stars of Lulaliya. Breakfast was great everyday, variety was lovely.
Cons: A double bed option would be nice. The music in the breakfast room was a little repetitive maybe a bit more shuffle would be good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Lulaliya hostess is the most dedicated hostess I've met. She's very attentive and thoughtful and could anticipate my needs. She speaks fluent English so language is not an issue. With three minutes left to catch the bus for the airport, she helped my hefty luggage down the flight of stairs and all the way to the bus stop, while asking me to wait at the bus stop. Top service and very attentive and would definitely come back again.
Cons: Nothing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed everything though I specially liked the friendly Staff. From the check in to the check out everyone was extremely nice, polite and giving tips how to go from one place to the other. Thannk you An. The location is also great since is quit and peaceful but with some very nice restaurants around. Ah...the breakfast was delicious!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful, gave me great advice. I had to make changes to my flight due to Typhoon and they helped me make the phone calls and even printed out my documentation. The double room with private bathroom was very comfortable and clean and had a very nice view.
Cons: The shared toilets/showers in the single room were on another floor which wasn't very convenient.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredibly nice and helpful staff. I have food allergies and they were super helpful with this. They prepared a special breakfast for me, the best I've had in ages. Highly recommend this place!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly host and extremely helpful. Very clean and organised place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed 2 nights in a Japanese style room. We slept really well, the location is super convenient (1mn walk from Kabira Bay) and various good restaurants around. The host was helpful, and breakfast perfect ! Thank you again !
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable and clean room with everything you need. Fantastic location in Kabira Bay. The couple who own the property are incredibly friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again if I make another trip to Ishigaki.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff was very nice and helpful The location is very good but you should have a car
Cons: So disappointed about the breakfast. You can’t choose anything, they cook 1 menu everyday, and they don’t ask if you like it or not. They tell you when you have to come everyday ( for us it was 8am .... if you are late, they come to your room to wake you up. ) We didn’t get the last breakfast because we left at 7:15am ... Also, we had little insectes in our room, even after the cleaning. And you have to make your own bed everytime after the cleaning service.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is great
Cons: No house keeping throughout the stay
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful and helped us book a tour. Great location in Kabira bay, a few minutes walk to the bay and a short distance to Yonehara beach. Bus stop was right outside the hotel. Spotlessly clean room and good facilities including laundry.
Cons: Japanese style futon beds were not particularly comfortable, but this is not really specific to Jouya, we found this everywhere!

Cons: Double bed was tiny even for Japan standards. Not really suitable for two western size people. Room all up not very comfortable.

Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-in, and express check-out. A roundtrip airport shuttle and a ferry terminal shuttle are provided for an additional charge.
5.4 Okay
Pros: To be honest, I don't really understand the good ratings. The only positive points are the friendly staff and the nice rooftop.
Cons: The whole place is quite old and moist, the AC didn't work well (either too cold or nothing). Many things don't work as they should and hygiene is quite low for a place in Japan.
7.5 Good
Pros: Shiraho guest house is a very nice place to stay because it is in a quite district, near to all beaches by car, plus there are two fantastic men (hiro and yoya) who run the guesthouse that will explain to you each day what is the better beach and place to see/discover. Thanks for all. I hope to have the possibility to come back soon.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best and friendliest guesthouse that I stayed in during my travels in Okinawa! They will really make sure that you know where to go on the island, and help you so you can get there. Super flexible and helpful, a great environment to stay in, especially for first time travelers to Ishigaki!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s not just a property They promote the interaction among the guests so making solo travelers to have good memories with new friends
Cons: They provide local secrets which general commercial accommodation do not provide. The deep and authentic spots are covered.
7.0 Good
Pros: Stars and sea.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Hiro-san and Yuya-san go beyond to make sure you are having the best time on Ishigaki. They provide great area maps, recommendations and got me a cheap rental car! The rooftop is amazing for stargazing. Really lovel guest house!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are awesome, place very clean. They are lovely and very helpful. I spent only 3 days but I wish I could had have a week at least.
Pension Uminonakama - Ishigaki - Building
6
9.2 Excellent (46 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Pension UMINONAKAMA in Ishigaki, you'll be by the ocean, within a 10-minute drive of Ishigaki Port and Awamori Museum. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is unsurpassable with great views from every room and the sound of the sea just yards away.If you want the kind of efficiency where space and homely decor make you feel totally relaxed this is it. There is a superb veg shop and fish and meat market in the city - easy bike ride away: have a go at some Japanese meals or revert! The owner and staff though are so friendly and knowledgeable about the island that you get to find all the places to visit on this laid back tropical island. When at the hotel you feel at home.
Cons: Don't expect luxury touches _ not a disadvantage for us.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very helpful nd warm. Exceeding expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner are very nice and helpful.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner can provide the variety of water sport (Snorkelling, diving, fishing...). Very friendly and recommended a few excellent restaurants.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious including a kitchen and appliances. It was right on the water with a nice view. The owners were accommodating after an initial misunderstanding and brought us pineapple.
Cons: It would’ve been very difficult to communicate without our Japanese friend. The rooms are misleading as they show a pull out couch and some sites state that the rooms fit 3 people, however we had to pay an additional $200 usd when we arrived to have a third person in the room. They were accommodating after this but it was a bit frustrating. Room is a bit out of the way and taxis were a bit pricey but there’s a bus stop nearby.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Tv, A/C, bed, view
Cons: The bathroom wasn't shiny.. but still ok.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owner is sincere and welcoming. Tried her best to accommodate our needs, both in the guesthouse and activities arrangements. However, typhoon cannot be controlled and not able to enjoy water sports from them.
Cons: Limited speaking English. May have to try Google translate and body language to guess the real meaning at some point

9.7 Excellent
Pros: Even when it is very small, it is very comfortable and practical
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The place is always kept clean, toilet as well except those girls splashing water all over the ground during face cleaning
Cons: Everything is good but second thought I can think of to save the planet - they don't really need to provide towel and cleaning set unless request
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were nice, bathroom and toilet were clean and the bed was comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff
Cons: none
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The guesthouse in general was very good! Very friendly environment, pleasant to stay in. It was clean and the room was comfortable (not small). Community room was nice (good design) and kitchen facilities were very good and clean. They pay special attention to explain how everything works and they are very careful on not making noise in rooms area. They change towels every day (which I found a great touch detail). Location was great (about 15min walk from bus/ferry station, and shopping area). Restaurants very close as well as convenience store. The staff was very friendly, always ready to help and give you advice. I would come back and recommended for sure.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a wonderful guest house. The staff was super friendly and always willing to help at any time! I also loved the fact that they implement recycling and that you are given fresh towels each day. If breakfast or drinks were offered in the common area, I think that would be a nice addition and would also let travellers mingle a bit more. But overall, a lovely place and I had a great stay!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very nice, especially credits for one girl whose name started with M I think. They would always help me with my problems even though their English wasn't perfect. The bed was comfortable after all hard asian mattresses in other places. Good bathroom facilities with dispenser soaps and towels. Very affordable bicycle rental.
Cons: It was pretty noisy as you seemingly have your private space but basically you are sleeping in a dorm of +20 people. Also the safety worried me as a solo woman traveller because there were no locks on doors and only a curtain between women's and men's dorms (altough nothing happened)

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Delicious breakfast
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is great - right next to the port and bus terminal. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel provided free smartphone for our use. Breakfast was ok.
Cons: English level of staff
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff was helpful and tried to answer all our questions (not all of them speak English). The rooftop terrace is amazing. The hotel has an eco-program one can join upon arrival. If you do, towels will not be changed and room not cleaned everyday. As a token of appreciation you get a little present when checking out.
Cons: The hotel has seen it's best days in the past. Everything is clean, but some touch-ups would do the hotel good. Breakfast is only served until 09:30, so if you want to sleep in you need to go elsewhere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is good n breakfast is delicious
Cons: Lift is too small
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, friendly staff, good breakfast, clean room

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary at scheduled times.
7.9 Good
Pros: Spacious rooms and coastal location
Cons: Felt very ‘package deal’ and not many options for lunch
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Checking process was very nice. Breakfast was very good, buffet style with something for everyone to enjoy. The room was very big and comfortable for our family. We were able to enjoy the pool for a brief time.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous retreat
Cons: A bit far out of the town but good taxi services Local beach wasn’t great but access to both pools made up for it
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The food was really really good: buffet dinner was a mix of local okinawan and western dishes, with clearly an experienced chef preparing the western food (French influence) with delicious and authentic foie gras, seafood chaussons, crepes etc. and including local alcohol (awamori). The swimming pool is nice and clean. Free draft beer machine in the hotel lobby! Rooms are clean, well furbished and spacious
Cons: No beach front. Closest beach is a few minutes'walk away but just soso. The swimming pool is small. It could be much bigger if the area dedicated to a small pond with funtains was actually a pool
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great range of foods at breakfast. Very friendly staff, willing to go above and beyond. Massive rooms.
Ishigaki Resort Hotel - Ishigaki - Building
10
8.8 Excellent (113 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Ishigaki Resort Hotel in Ishigaki, you'll be by the ocean, within a 10-minute drive of Ishigaki Port and Miyara River Hirugi Grove. Featured amenities include luggage storage and an elevator. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available on request).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice service Very nice room Nice comfortable
7.1 Good
Pros: Very large, new and well-appointed apartment with all mod-cons - even a self-filling bath if you can figure out how it works. Staff were polite, cleaning service was excellent. Not too far - driving- from Ishigaki port for dinner etc but also in a quiet location. Lift up to the apartment perfect for families with small children in buggies or visitors with mobility issues.
Cons: Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable - this is typical for beds in non-Western brand hotels in Japan but I wish they had mattress toppers available for guests who don’t fancy sleeping on a rock- hard slab. Price was also very high considering facilities are minimal - nice apartment but small pool, no restaurant, no spa. ‘Resort’ in the hotel name is somewhat misleading. For similar prices you could stay in the Four Seasons - albeit not in Japan! We did book rather late in high season though, so value may not always be an issue.
Ishigakijima Hotel Olive - Ishigaki - Bedroom
11
8.7 Excellent (356 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The completely non-smoking Hotel Olive is just a 1-minute walk from the Ishigakijima Ferry Terminal and provides cosy Western and Japanese rooms, homemade artistic flourishes and free WiFi at the lobby. Storage for diving and marine equipment is available. Basic rooms come with a flat-screen TV, towels, free toiletries and a hairdryer. The private bathroom has a bathtub with shower attachment. Guests staying in the Japanese-style room sleep in traditional futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Hotel Olive Ishigaki Island features coin-operated laundry facilities and a shared refrigerator. The Ishigakijima bus terminal is a 1-minute walk away, and it's a 31-minute drive to the New Ishigaki Airport. The nearby ferry terminal offers easy access to other islands. Simple breakfast of toast and coffee is offered at the dining room at an extra charge.
7.9 Good
Pros: Pretty clean, very quiet, perfect location, amazing cheap breakfast
Cons: Host treats you like a baby but is otherwise nice. First question asked before introductions is are you a smoker despite "no smoking" mentioned in the booking and signs in room. Also walks you up 2 staircases to explain unnecessary things that could be said at the counter. Communication could be better. Single bed is small and not firm enough. Only 1 pillow. Need at least two.
5.8 Okay
Pros: THE breakfast is FANTASTIC for only a 100 yen (about $1)!! The location to the bus terminal to get to airport is great (block away) and the ferry terminal (a block away) for the other island adventures. Washer and dryer were ok in the hallway (except again, no A/C in hallway); they will provide a fan upon request (do ask for one)
Cons: NO A/C in hallways (its brutal to walk up 3 stories in the interior heat); no coffee machine in room; room was very small; A/C in room was barely sufficient (and the control device was only in Japanese, no English markings or even symbols on it);
6.3 Good
Pros: The place is clean, everyday they clean the rooms and change towels and other stuff
Cons: The price is very very high compared to the service offered: the Reception is always empty (wi fi does not work but i cant tell to anyone...) and the hotel is super hot, upstairs and downstairs does not match too much so i was a bit confused we saw the woman when we checked in and she'ss not speaking english. We met other guests at the entranc with the same feeling so i think the pictures and rates are a bit unfair. It's the first time that happen to me in Japan but i was very upset by the quality/price ratio, for the same price you can find other options.
7.9 Good
Pros: Just next to the port and bus terminal hence you have buses from the airport and can also go to Kabira Bay. Good for eating places too, all within walking distance. Nice owner who makes a pretty breakfast for only 100 yen, who cleans the rooms every day. Comfortable futon beds. Washing machine and dryer available for a small price and there was a fridge in the corridor.
Cons: You do not have windows that offer you a view, so it was dark and a little claustrophobic in the rooms. For the price, though the rooms were en-suite, they were basic.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very kind owner that provided us with good tips for restaurants and other activities in Ishigaki. Breakfast for 100¥ is definitely something we would recommend (basic small breakfast that will get you started for the day).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Loved breakfast and service and how central the location was. Great internet and air con
Cons: We loved it all, just that we are quite old and found sleeping on futons and tatami a little harder than we expected!! Loved the experience.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location! Breakfast was awesome! The owner was very accommodating!
7.9 Good
Pros: breakfast & location is great
Cons: dust on the exhaust fan in bathroom

8.7 Excellent (161 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Ishigaki, Nagura Village is on the boardwalk, within a 10-minute drive of Kabira Bay Beach and Kabira Bay. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Big room, big bag, good location to watch stars.
Cons: Nothing
Overview Reviews
There are many leisure facilities to fulfill your vacation, and you can enjoy walking, year-round garden pools, treatment spas, indoor pools and short golf. It is also famous as a resort known as the first starry sky reserve in Japan. You can also visit other islands within about 30 minutes by ferry, which is a convenient base for traveling around the island.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly, and good location next to the beach.
Cons: The hotel is currently expanding quite significantly and our room was overlooking the building works.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room, the food and being so close to the beach.
Cons: I thought my room would have an ocean view when I booked. The garden room was still nice though.
7.5 Good
Pros: Rooms are comfortable. Staff is very helpful. Good spa / onsen. Good breakfast.
Cons: Beach is not that great. Sun beds are very outdated and uncomfortable. Restaurants and cafes are expensive. Overall hotel is overpriced for the level of service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: amazing hotel, lovely place to have a break
Cons: amazing place
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and clean
Cons: Rental towels for the pool
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, complimentary valet parking, sea view balcony, clean and spacious room, pretty gardens!
7.9 Good
Pros: Clean, easy to walk around the resort
Cons: Wifi slow
7.9 Good
Pros: We were in the coral wing with the view of the sea. We usually went to the beach in the morning, lunch in the buffet restaurant, dessert in the lounge, And then swimming pool in the afternoon, sometimes a snack in the little shop. The hotel could provide all we needed for a lazy holiday.
Cons: The little stones on the beach are annoying when barefoot. The queue for breakfast could be long, we were not used to the idea of having to queue for breakfast. But then it is probably just for the peak season.
6.3 Good
Pros: I enjoyed the breakfast choices however their coffee was just ok. I liked the warm indoor pool. And their suite which however could not be offered to me until my check out and was reimbursed with points. To me it would have made a big difference if we were allowed to keep the suite for the entire duration of our stay especially since we are Ambassador members and we pay extra for these things but this is always the case with Intercontinental: they cannot offer an upgrade or will not offer for the entire duration of stay. Other than that...unless you have a suite, the rooms are boring and old fashioned. Everything is bland and impersonal. It is, as usual, too expensive for the standard but this is how it often is in Japan.
Cons: I didn’t like the beach where you cannot just walk or swim like on a normal beach...everything is fenced around like a pool for animals...it is discouraging already when you look outside the window and see the small “fenced” swimming area. Kids were everywhere...this is less relaxing...the hotel is a family hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were spacious and clean with a great bathroom area. Loved the sunlight in the mornings coming through the big windows in the resort. The pool and restaurants on site (although quite expensive), its for those who are looking to be at the resort and not leave. Local bus picks you up from the hotel and can take you to the port or the airport, very convenient. Not a far walk from supermarket too.
Cons: Nothing that i can think of. We wanted pure relaxation after a busy time in tokyo and kyoto so it was perfect.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. Breakfast was great with lots of variety. Loved the brown sugar bread. Room size was great. The laundry room was located at the 6/F and we utilized it on the 2nd night after our outdoor activities. Proximity to eateries and shopping area. The staff helped us to make a restaurant booking in advance. Thank you so much!
Cons: Though the hotel is just located 8-10 minutes away the Ferry Terminal, dragging luggages from/to the Ferry Terminal to/from the hotel under the hot sun/rain might be tiring since there is no shelter on the way.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: + 10-15 mins walk to the port terminal, where u can take ferry to islands (suggest u join a group) or bus to the airport. I used taxi and it cost me around 3000¥ to the hotel. + Staff is surely helpful if u cannot speak Japanese. + You can free bike rent for the 1st hour the 500¥ for each hour. + you can take a taxi to near by beach for around 1000¥. I went to Maezato beach. on the date of check out. I took all my belongings to the beach. there is a small locker can put ur valuable stuff. There are glass kayak (3500¥ 30mins), swimming gears, chairs(2000¥ 1 hour) you can rent, and free shower with hot water in the beach.
Cons: + u have to pay to watch TV + pay to get detergen + the airconditioning is not comfortable. and have to re-start every time u entre ur room.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best view , super nice staff and good facility
Cons: None
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing positive to say
Cons: The hotel smells cigarettes in the corridor and non smoking rooms have a horrible and unsustainable smell. We asked to change. The next one was better in terms of odor but we we had to compromise on view. Staff knows zero English which makes things very difficult. Only a small swimming pool that is extremely noisy with loads of kids screaming. This is a children play, no one actually sunbathes. There is no beach!! So basically no way to escape or relax. On the website looks like there is a beach but there is not. It is the sea with some structure next to it. You can t swim there or sunbathe. Anything you do in the hotel is expensive. Food, drinks. Etc Not perfect in terms of location. Not in centre and taxis are expensive. Not a good spot for diving either. I recommend using eurodivers for diving. Super professional, but they are more north west. On last day we went to the inter continental hotel for the day, it was so good!! Many swimming pools, beach, staff welcoming and speak well English, nice common areas. The dream, it is slightly more expensive but would hve pid the difference if I had known.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and helped us with a lot of things!
Cons: None.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxing seaside resort, good facilities, the public bath is relaxing. Breakfast is good too!
Cons: The swimming pool is a bit small

Cons: The food at restaurant 舟藏 is overpriced! Its quality is totally incompatible.
7.9 Good
Pros: Friendly staff and the location
Cons: Nothing really!
6.7 Good
Pros: Right on the beach, pool and spa facilities. Meat restaurant is excellent; great food and ambience.
Cons: Service was nothing special; entirely oriented around Japanese guests. No wifi in public areas. Breakfast finished very early, about 9.00am, which is early for a resort and when you are on holiday. Main restaurant is nothing special. Very expensive and so poor value for money.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is really amazing! As a non-japanese, there were lots of selection and i was able to try local food. They change their breakfast menu every now and then which is good. They have 4 restaurants to choose from. The room is very nice especially the bathroom. There is japanese concert every night, so its a real Japanese experience. There is also complimentary shuttle from and back to airport.
Cons: The bed and pillows are so hard.

Pros: This was just perfect after staying in big cities Tokyo, Osaka etc. Situated on the port, walk 5 min to ferry and bus terminal. Rooms very spacious and comfortable pillows, room has balcony looking over the Port which is a working port but nice to see the water. Hotel is a little tired probably needs a revamp but not an issue. Close to restaurants and main streets. Hotel offers a a Ecco cleaning system which is good value.
