Inverness hostels

Pros: cool atmosphere and hosts, cosy place good location

Cons: no breakfast

Pros: This was the best hostile I’ve ever stayed at. The staff was extremely friendly and we had good conversations with good people. We enjoyed it so much we started there again before we flew out. Ricardo was great!

Pros: Almost everything

Cons: I was a little disappointed with the kitchen facilities closing at 11pm, but at least I was pre-warned

Pros: Perfect location right next to the Inverness castle. Good facilities, a lot of shower cubicles available. Great and helpful staff - Ricardo was very nice and offered some great advice! I was so happy about the detailed recycling in the kitchen area!

Cons: Maybe they could think about offering breakfast in the future.

Pros: Great value for money. Easy check in and out. Room was large with good facilities. Very clean and modern. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful location. Lovely chill out area where you could meet new people. Really good place. Would stay again.

Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful, the common area was atmospheric and warm. Encouraged socialisation, very homely. Board Games were fun

Cons: Hard beds, facilities were clean but hard to share as not many. Shower took ages to warm up.

Pros: Really friendly staff, good location, good cost-benefit and I just loved the shared living room!

Cons: The bathrooms might be crowded in the morning

Pros: Comfortable bed, good communal spaces, friendly helpful staff. A flooding evacuation in rain at 2.30am was handled really well by staff and they gave everyone free breakfast to compensate. A good vibe in this hostel.

Cons: Toilet & showers all together & mixed gender a bit cramped but okay.

Pros: Had an extremely great stay at Inverness Student Hostel. The staff was beyond exellent, always ready to help and recommend. The hostel is really well equipped and after few weeks of travelling I felt like at home :)

Cons: The pillows and the bed could be a bit more comfy but it did not bother me that much

Cons: we were promised over the phone that we would have our own room for 8, this was NOT the case instead we were given a room for 6 & 2 had to share with strangers. the "hotel" was dirty (nothing like the photos on the website), the bed linen was in need of washing/replacing, H&S procedures were virtually non existent (multiple electric extension cables plugged together to use for chargers), the shower rooms were to small & dirty, the toilets were a disgrace, carpets require cleaning/replacing, lack of instructions in case of emergency, (I'm sure the fire brigade will be interested), the car park (muddy patch) is a joke. The hotel took the full amount from my credit card before arrival (just as well), we PAID for 2 nights but due the disgusting state we found alternative accommodation for our 2nd night, NO REFUND OFFERED by the "HOTEL", so costing us more to stay at short notice. Oh & finally the FLE BITES are free. photos available

Pros: Great place, great staff. I was outside for most of the day, crashed in the night and had a super comfortable sleep.

Pros: It was friendly, clean, comfortable and good value for money.

Cons: Coffee machine not working, so continental breakfast was not as enjoyable as it could be. Infection control - another guest fell and his cut head and proper procedures were not followed when cleaning the area afterwards. Some first aid training for staff might have also been beneficial.

Pros: Room was nice and clean. Hostel location was very near to city center will all the required amenities.

Pros: Good location, not a far walk from town and theres lots of food (delivery & groceries) nearbye, so it wasn'y difficult so eat or anything.

Cons: Hostel smelled bad in certain areas, staff were kind of rude? They said as little as possible and they were super vague about any questions I had. Walls are very thin so you can hear any surrounding rooms and you really hear it whenever anyone showers- that was super loud for some reason.
