Fantastic location, great room, super food and lovely owners. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again but for longer. Best place on our 3 week tour of Scotland and England.
Bed very comfy
The owners cats wandering into dining area
In front of Loch Ness wonderful
Hotel owner not much friendly, restrictions on breakfast and dinner time
It was a fantastic location, great views, comfortable, clean, food was excellent.
I picked the property because it had a bar and restaurant, the bar didn’t open till 6.30pm and food was not available until 7pm. If you came back in the late afternoon you couldn’t get a drink or snack until at least 6.30pm, which meant you were stuck in your room till then.
Beautiful modern rooms with everything you'd want. Clean, well equipped and spacious. Tasteful decoration and subtle scottish theme. Controllable heating.
Extremely rude staff who seemed to be angry from the moment we arrived. The proprieter conducted a foul-mouthed rant at me on the threshold of the room. Completely, point blank, uncooperative when I politely requested bowls and spoons to eat our cereal in the morning prior to taking part in the Loch Ness Marathon. Made to feel extremely unwelcome and forced into making a grovelling apology (for what?) or for the whole party to be kicked out into the night with no chance of any alternative accommodation for miles. This was not at all good preparation for running marathon the following day. Completely astonishing behaviour.
