The hotel experience was absolutely disappointing- It is the equivalent of a 1 star hotel. Such a shame! This ruined our stay in Ilhabela, which is an extremely gorgeous place. I cannot think of one positive thing to say about this facility.
Staff is so unwelcoming and unfriendly, which is unlike Brazilians. Hotel is dirty- Fridge is rusty and cockroaches in bathrooms. Breakfast is very bad and basic- not even eggs included. Children's pool is dirty. Outdated rooms and facilities. No value for money. The first place we go to in Brazil where we feel truly unwelcomed from the second we stepped foot in the facility. We took two rooms, in both bathrooms there were big cockroaches. The hotel did not even have screens to protect the bathrooms from insects. The receptionist charged us for dirty towels to be replaced since we used them at the beach. Which we did not mind, but she was very rude asking. During all of our stay in Brazil (for the past 9 months)- this is by far the worst experience we had. Not a place we recommend. You will get your money's worth more at a hostel.

The view from the roof is amazing! The style of the hotel was very cool and we enjoyed the space around the room. Breakfast was very good too! The front desk hostess was extremely nice and respectful, helping us with anything we needed (I speak Portuguese, so that helped).
We did book this location thinking our room had a window view, but it had no window view and was a little small. We also thought that it was an easy walk to the beach and restaurants, but it's on a big hill that would have been hard to walk up, so we just drove.
