The room was beautiful. It had a double door balcony overlooking the pool, which just made it stunning. There is no central heat and air but that seems to be standard for the area. The pool is gorgeous, the breakfast was great, staff were very helpful and friendly, the location was perfect! We would definitely stay here again.
Nothing-everything was great! Maybe a window unit for AC if it is during the hot season. We were comfortable though.
We stayed for just one night in Huacachina and unfortunately fell ill, causing us to book a later departing bus. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and allowed us to store our luggage and use the hotel facilities while we waiting for our 7.30pm bus. Great pool with amazing views of the sand dunes. Great location. Close to all bars and restaurants.
The location is very nice
The cleanliness I notice the window in the bathroom was dirty and the blue tiles as well. I asked to have breakfast by the terrace next to the pool and the lady told me they couldn't serve it outside, would be nice to have this facility available for next time. Also should be nice to have an extra plate for bread.
I really like the backyard with the flowers, the pool, the desert view. It was charming!
Before sleeping, I saw on the wall all the dead mosquitoes. Indeed, there was so much mosquitoes in the room during the night!
Nice charming building with a colonial feeling. Very nice pool area, larger pool than usual. Quiet location. Direct access to the sand dunes, in a corner of the Oasis which is not crowded. You can walk directly up the dunes at sunrise or sunset, or even at night, which is great. Our rooms and bathrooms were very clean (contrarily to what is said in some older reviews). Our bathrooms were refurbished. Excellent breakfast (fresh bread !). There is no restaurant, but we recommend "Casa de Bamboo" round the corner which has a variety of excellent food for a moderate price.
The prices are high. The hotel itself is worth it, but the surroundings are not really. There is an obvious lack of investment in municipal services and landscape protection in Huacachina. We hope this will improve in the future. Since the rooms are a bit old, they are not soundproofed, and you may hear a little noise from the other guests.
