The breakfast was good and that's it.
The staff was rude, asked for non smoking room and room still smelled like cigarettes, hallways and elevators reeked of marijuana and not the good kind. Asked for extra blankets and pillows and first the receptionist said they didn't have extra pillows (which is not a big deal) but then she said that 'if we still wanted the blankets we would have to go downstairs and get them ourselves' at almost 1am. I asked if there was anyway she could bring them to us since we were exhausted from working the rodeo and she refused. So my husband goes down to get them and she sent him back with 2 sheets after we asked for blankets. When he told her that, she said that's all they had which also wouldn't have been a big deal if she had said that before! Plus the location is right off the freeway so don't expect a peaceful sleep.
Booked through Kayak by its subsidiary booking.com, but was told the reservation was cancelled and they can't get me a room there. Spent two hours on the phone but nothing got resolved. Ended up that I have to book a room on spot with a walk-in rate. No compensation was offered even when asked. Kayak booing sucks, that's the bottom line.
