8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good room, and good value for money. Friendly staff, who tried to accommodate clients need at their best.
Cons: The location of the hotel is not really downtown, but the city center is easily reachable by car.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was clean and comfortable. The room was small but had everything we needed for a two night stay. The breakfast was fine for the money but could have done with some cereal.
Cons: It was a little noisy early in the morning as there seemed to be quite a few work vans in the car park so probably work men getting up for work. The shower had nothing to hold it up with.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: nothing
Cons: everything

5.8 Okay
Pros: Bed was clean and comfortable.
Cons: The rooms were small and poorly equipped, no hairdryer and no tea or coffee making facilities that would be expected. The shower wet the whole bathroom floor and went onto the adjoining bedside carpet, the inside of the tiny bathroom door was shabby and old.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Reasonable location only 15 mins from honfluer
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Parking on site was plentiful - maybe because there were not many staying..... Beds were quite large and reasonably comfy
Cons: Pool was dirty - smelt rank and was cloudy/poor vis at about 12”. Reception replied that it had “been alright when I came to work two hours ago” - it was unsanitary and we got out immediately. Bathrooms leaked water into the rooms - the second of the two rooms we had stank like a Parisian Metro station but by the time we got back from a meal out and realised there was no one on reception (no staff on site at all in fact) to remedy with a room change. Bath towels were very small, grey and torn/worn out. No towels provided for the pool either, or offered when requested. So our “bath” towels were polluted with the dirty pool water. Nice. Absolutely no extra facilities in the room - for the price paid I would’ve expected at least a hairdryer or, more importantly, a kettle with some tea or coffee. Only flimsy plastic cups provided (2) in the bathroom. Leaving early(ish) - 7.15am - we couldn’t even get a hot drink as we left as the whole place was shut up. No breakfast would have been available at that time (Monday) even if we had paid extra for it. Searched for hotel as being in or near “Honfleur” but don’t be fooled - it’s a 20 minute car drive away from there...

Pros: A very friendly receptionist, a nice bar, free cheese tasting near reception, lift, good sized room, comfy bed, top floor as requested, free parking in the front of the hotel
Cons: Bathroom is one of those plastic fantastic affairs - prefabricated and dumped into the room, I could live without ever seeing one of these again - luckily one only sees them in France and not that often. there is no path from the hotel to town, one has to cross the road, not a big deal, but at first I could not believe my eyes.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Two pools amazing views great staff
4.2 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: Once I arrived after 8 hours drive the girl at the reception told me that we couldn’t eat at the hotel restaurant because full booked so I had to drive to the nearest city to find a restaurant for dinner, they should have place for people who booked a room there. Then the light in the bathroom didn’t work. For what I paid is not good at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: for a continental breakfast the choice of food was exceptional, the location of the hotel is superb along with the views from the restaurant
Cons: nothing really the only noticeable thing I would say is the décor was looking a little tired, but was still clean. [ what we really did not like was nothing to do with the hotel but our car broke down ]

7.5 Good
Pros: Ideal for exploring nearby Honfleur, Trouville-sur-Mer, Deauville etc. Nice indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
Cons: Restaurant not open Sunday or Monday nights (the 2 nights we were there). Bar prices very expensive. Nothing within walking distance and no bus service, so necessary to drive out for evening meal. Not good when you like to enjoy a bottle of wine with your meal.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderfully quiet and tranquil. A real “getting away from it all”

Pros: Our room was spacious

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We will stay there again.
Cons: Breakfast could have been better! Eggs cold, beacon not cooked
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: We have stayed there several times our room was tiny. The wardrobe was a half size one jacket went from rail to floor. The toilet my husband could hardly fit in same for bathroom.

Facing the fishing port of Honfleur, a quaint seaside town nestled on the Normandy coast, and historic rendezvous for artists from all around the world, the Best Western® Le Cheval Blanc is located at the entrance of the old harbor of Honfleur. The harbor welcomes year round the old rigging ships and many great sailing boats. The distinctiveness of the area lays in the Upper-Normandy style houses dating from the 17th, and 18th century, that make up the banks (classified site) of the harbor. We are located between the Lower and Upper Normandy regions, and close to the D-Day landings. Deauville is just 15 minutes away, 20 minutes from Le Havre (via the Normandy bridge), and two hours from Paris via A13 Motorway. The Best Western® Le Cheval Blanc invites you to stay in one of our 35 rooms, suites or studios. An efficient team will welcome you and recommend the main attractions and visits for your spare time. A breakfast buffet is served each morning in a room filled with traditions and overlooking the harbor. Enjoy your stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good, the room was comfortable, and the location was excellent. The only thing we didn’t like is that the toilet had a glass door; we’d have liked more privacy!
Cons: See above: glass doors on the bathrooms
6.7 Good
Pros: The location is great.
Cons: The sofa bed is uncomfortable. It would be nice to have an extra blanket. The hammam was cold.

Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building and grounds! Service was top notch. Concierge very helpful. Lots of atmosphere, great views. Try the calvados, 25 year old apple liquor. I loved the apple (hard) cider. Everyone was extremely courteous and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The town center was a quick walk away. It was nice to have a quiet place to go after being in town all day.
Cons: Nothing to complain about, except the breakfast was too expensive. Would be nice to have a continental option vs. a brunch.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location. Short walk into Honfleur and to the beach. Lovely views of the Seine and out to sea. Enjoyed welcome champagne on arrival by the fire. Excellent food - breakfast was amazing. Staff all very helpful and welcoming. Convenience of on site parking which many hotels in Honfleur do not have. We wanted a grown-up break without the children and this was perfect.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location and stylish. Lovely spa and super comfortable bed.
Cons: However, a hideous smell of sewage greeted us in our room. It was a bathroom issue that was dealt with promptly, however the sense of this place was style over substance. And the unfortunate scent never really went - we stayed out of our room for most of the stay. Also... it was bare and lacked plugs and surfaces. Not very user friendly. Meanwhile, no desire to stay for dinner. The food was ridiculously overpriced - €80 for a main course? Necessary? Perhaps no wonder the desk team were so keen to book us in to what seemed a less than full dining room. The staff were perfectly pleasant but no real connection was made. We generally didn’t hang around and used the hotel as a base which was just fine. Wouldn’t repeat though. Not one for us
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nothing. Again, everything is perfect.
Cons: Everything is perfect. The staff is extremely attentive and professional, the location is beautiful and the hotel superb.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The territory of the hotel is very nice, as well as spa, but nothing special. The hotel is overpriced and doesn’t worth it.
Cons: Toilet room and shower are very small, even for me who is small size, can’t imagine how plus size people can use it! Toilet and shower are old, need to be changed! When you take shower water comes out because there is gap between the door of shower and the wall, so when you come out have to clean wet floor which is not safe. Breakfast is 37 euro per Pearson what is too much overpriced for it, ever if you want omelet it extra 20 euro. It would be nice hotel if it cost 200 euro per night, but really don’t worth 370 per night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location and amazing food!
Cons: Spa pool needs updating a bit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Most amazing hotel experience we have ever had in our travels. Starting with check in we were escorted to the beautiful living room and louge area where a quaint fire in the fireplace was crackling! We were offered a complimentary welcome drink of champagne or cider which the region is known for..all this before checking in. Allowing us to get nerves from travel to settle before we even get to the room. Laura was escorted to the spa for an amazing massage while I finished my cider and wait for the bell help to gather all our things from the car. Really a very cool way to start a staff at a hotel. The rest of the stay only continued to be even more incredible. Was very sorry when ourvtime to leave came!
Cons: The hot tub in the spa was not quite as hot as we would have liked. Felt lukewarm! But really reaching for so.ething we didnt like..it was only a very minor issue.
7.1 Good
Pros: The place is particularly great and the staff nice and committed.
Cons: The bathroom had a serious need for maintenance and obviously since quite a while. Despite our gentle and constructive feedback on that particular issue, zero compensation was offered which is cheap. The pool and the SPA were ok but below international standards.
7.9 Good
Pros: Amazing beds and property. Great history and touches. Hermes toiletries and French linens. Beautiful gardens.
Cons: Snooty wait staff, slow service and outrageously priced food and drink. One night we asked to just get a dessert and were told we had to do it as room service which only offered cheese platter. We were told breakfast was included and when we checked out we were charged 64 euros a day for it and that we were mistaken. It was a lovely, but I could think of a better use of 64 euros. The front desk staff was very helpful. I felt like we were treated as a second class staff for using booking.com as our reservation manager. There are lots of options in Honfleur at a better price. Go for a drink

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The casual but efficient atmosphere that this hotel has,, stayed 3 times now
Cons: Nothing
4.6 Okay
Pros: Not a lot to be honest. This is never a 3 star hotel. It’s more like a 2 star. The hotels main asset is the pool, steam and sauna. However most of the time it’s crowded out by guests. Breakfast very average and no hot food option and no snacks on offer at any time of the day. The rooms are truly dated and minimalist ! No proper shower! Just an extension cord on the bath tap and no protective screen. No tissues in the bathroom either which is poor in my opinion the room is stuffy too ! No views worth mentioning either. Far too far to walk to the town that’s for certain ! Also Dog poo everywhere on the grassed areas around the hotel complex is not cleaned up as hotel takes dogs. The rooms are way below standard for 2018 and not even as good as Travelodge in the uk. Dressing gowns cost 4 euros if you need one ! No fridge in the room and no tea/coffee making facilities ! All in all a big rip Off and I am sure you can find somewhere else offering better value for money ! 360 Rios got 3 nights!!!
Cons: Loads of things. Please see my main review !!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Didn't have breakfast - just coffee and a croissant. Told where to have dinner in Honfleur only a few minutes drive. Nice open spaces, quiet and friendly.
Cons: Nothing - most enjoyable and good value.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff, good location, parking
Cons: Cold sauna, horrible smell of mould in hamam, room equipment requires renovation. We expected more for such price.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pool was lovely and we had it to ourselves. Room was large and comfy.
Cons: there didn't seem to be anyone else staying at the hotel and we were put at the far end of the building on the top floor furthest away from facilities - wondering why!!! Staff spoke English well but did not give information on check in eg. where the spa is, where the breakfast is, times for breakfast or check out etc.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: We loved the rural setting. The accommodations were rustic chic. The dinner and lunch we had were beautifully prepared and delicious.
Cons: It was extremely hard to find, even with GPS. There are not activities in the near vicinity. Our toilette room had a problem with sewer gasses leaking into the space so we fought that for two days. There is no shower...gotta sit to bathe. There is no cell service.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Accomodation is perfect!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly welcome. Room was fabulous with exceptionally clean bathroom with large walk in shower and jacuzzi tub. Lovely soaps and bath products. Extremely comfortable bed with crisp white linen and beautiful view of the harbour. We would have extended our stay by another night but our room was booked. Delicious breakfast served by friendly staff. This was an absolute joy to stay here.
Cons: Nothing. Was perfect.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect, within walking distance to all the important sites. It’s right on the harbour, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious and comfortable room with a good view. Excellent location, great for exploring Honfleur on foot. Really good breakfast and very friendly staff. Their restaurant was fantastic.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Great restaurant for dinner! Very nice breakfast and staff.
Cons: No elevator :( Made carrying heavy suitcases upstairs a challenge. Parking is also not ideal, but fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff went out of their way to help us, even printing out tickets fir a play in Paris the next night. Got us ice and a bucket and special glasses for cider in the room. Tasty breakfast, fabulous view, nice and quiet.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very good location. Spacious and well appointed room, good armchairs, furnishings, lighting etc and comfortable bed. Great views over the port. Good bathroom, separate WC, huge walk in shower plus a spa bath. A good place to relax. Easy to find places to eat, even on a January night when many hotels and restaurants choose to close up. Managed to park nearby at the Hotel de Ville for 10 Euros overnight, rather than in the public carpark.
Cons: There was a request not to use the spa baths between 22.30 & 8.00 but even use during "permitted" hours made an intrusive noise in room below. Also soundproofing in floors/ceiling inadequate as squeaky bed above also noisy! In winter, with all windows closed, there is some noise from boats coming in and out of the port. This was our second stay, we chose an annexe room on the first floor as although our previous ground floor room in main hotel was excellent too, there had been some noise from adjacent kitchens/ early bin collections, this was in August 2018. On balance, in winter, we would probably have been fine there as far fewer restaurants were open. However, Honfleur is a bustling town so you have to accept a certain noise level is inevitable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast in bed as part of normal procedure was amazing!
Cons: ...
9.6 Excellent

Pros: The location was excellent. Right next to the Vieux Bassin and the bus station. And the included breakfast was really nice.
Cons: There wasn’t tea or coffee facilities in the room. It didn’t have a reception desk. Just a member of staff in the lobby, which if they weren’t there was a bit confusing.

Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and multilingual staff. Guests may use a train station pick-up service for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very good location, clean bathroom and toilet, tv Free parking with camera surveillance in the courtyard
Cons: Bedding: although it looked very clean, it did not feel clean because of the blanket was under a bedsheet instead of a duvet cover. Floor: the floor was a thick enough carpet but again for me it’s not as hygienic as wooden or ceramic floors Wall: very old fashioned flowery wallpapers and furniture (Not my taste)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: People from the hotel. Always here to help you.
Cons: Bathroom: Old fashion and partially not working.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Bath location staff and parking
Cons: Tired interior needs uplifting
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We use this as a midway point to/from Brittany; Honfleur is just the other side of the Pont de Normandie and it's a lovely spot. Also the hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the focal point of the harbour/bassin, so it's close to everything. The decor is a little tired...but that's part of the charm!
Cons: On this occasion (unusually) the staff were a little off form: breakfast is served from 8am, but no-one was on duty at all until about 10 past. There was then a mad rush while the guy threw breakfast together, and it wasn't until about 8:30 that he emerged from the kitchen with slightly singed bread and viennoiserie; presumably the par-baked variety that had been put in an oven cranked up too high for speed. Luckily we had enough slack in our schedule to still be able to make our tunnel crossing. On other occasions this has all worked well, so we'll certainly be back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Free parking, great location. very friendly and helpful staff.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good Location
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We’ve stayed here a number of times as Honfleur is a favourite stop going to/from Brittany. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the ‘bassin’ which forms the picturesque heart of Honfleur with its super shops, cafés and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and clean with decent bathrooms...and a big plus is free private parking! Plenty of options in the town, but the breakfast is well worth taking if you’re feeling lazy! Oh and there’s a handy small Carrefour across the street to top up on personal supplies.
Cons: On this occasion (in January) our room was a bit overheated due to a faulty radiator valve, but I’m sure it’s fixed now!
7.9 Good
Pros: Vicinity, cost, friendly helpful staff
Cons: Room was tired. No tea or coffee facilities.
