A true hidden gem of a property, down an alley this jewel of a French colonial building appears. Really useful for the airport but not too far from the centre too. The staff were absolutely amazing - best we’d encountered in any of the 5 hotels we stayed in in Vietnam. They were so helpful in making sure we got taxis, etc. and when we had to leave early in the morning to catch our flight home, they got up early too to make us coffee and a packed breakfast.
Personal Touch, family business, eye for detail, Oasis in busy Saigon, excellent breakfast, good bed & shower. Rich in history.
We were made feel so welcome by the hotel owner, He allowed us to check in early and we had lots of lovely chats with him. He gave us great advice about what to do in Vietnam and he was so helpful. The room was spotless and the breakfast was delicious and fresh. I would definitely stay here again, it was a lovely place to recover after a long flight.
I really liked everything, I would say be prepared to get taxis from main tourist areas as it is a little away from the main tourist areas. That’s easy to do as the taxis are cheap and plentiful.
Very attentive and friendly staff, cosy atmosphere, every detail was taken care of. Fantastic breakfast.
Location was a bit too far from city centre(but still it allowed us to get a much better feel of the city)
We only stayed at Ma Maison for one night (between flights at HCMC airport) but our experience was amazing. The staff was so accommodating with our late arrival; we were greeted with refreshing juice, showed somewhere to eat a late dinner and they got up early to call a taxi for us and help carry our bags out. (They also packed a small breakfast to take with us which just went above and beyond!) Our room was amazing - the most comfortable place we stayed on our whole trip around Vietnam. Previously we had stayed in the city center and this was a nice change of pace; it was so much quieter at night but has a street close by with plenty of places to eat. I highly recommend staying here!
