It’s great value. Terrific onsen and well appointed rooms. Beautiful to shower with the forest just outside the room!
Nothing. It was perfect!
It was perfect on every way from walking in to the hotel and smelling fresh bread from the bakery to a beautiful large room. The top floor onsen was a wonderful experience, quiet, clean and with an amazing view. The lounge area provided a selection of free drinks and ice cream and was relaxing and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We didn’t have the breakfast or evening meal option so we are unable to comment on the food.
There were no negatives
Conveniently located RIGHT OUTSIDE the ferry terminal, this gorgeous waterfront hotel was even better than we expected! The room was spacious and impeccably clean, full of thoughtful touches like sweets and tea. We even had a massage chair!! Wow!! We had a lovely view of the water (and the ferry terminal LOL), and the beds, which were like futons on a raised platform, were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered a lot of variety, from omelettes prepared by the order and freshly baked bread to miso soup and Japanese pickled foods. They staff even held on to our bags so we could explore the island luggage-free after we checked out. Overall, a fabulous hotel that we would recommend to anyone visiting Miyajima!
We liked everything about this hotel!
My wife and I stayed at the hotel for one night in order to experience the magic of Miyajima island at night. We loved this hotel. I has Japanese style rooms with futons. The rooms are large and ours even had a massage chair. We chose a mountain facing room and we were happy with the view. The best part was the onsen! The onsen had a fantastic view of osaka, the water was the perfect temperature and it was the most relaxing way to end our day. Also the buffet breakfast that was included was the BEST part of our stay. They have so many delicious options including Japanese and Western style breakfast items. We were so full that day that we didn't eat lunch.
Location! New property. Nice lounge areas with free juice and tea/coffee that guests can enjoy. Clean.
Music in corridors a bit loud. Bed could have been more comfortable.
