We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights booked via another company, with the extra night through you to secure a late check out. All the staff were great with 1 exception. Bedrooms were a good size but furnishings were dated and damaged.
Wifi is unreliable. Indoor pool, which is heated, was closed for winter yet outdoor pool was very cold, with a slippery floor, green slime patches on some tiles under the water and around underwater light fittings. The area around the pool is grassy and gets dug up and re seeded while you are on your sun lounger. Sun loungers and tables do not get washed. Worst though was the sewage pit on the beach in front of the hotel, the smell from this blows around the pool, restaurant and reception area. At times the smell was exceptionally strong and impossible to endure resulting in us spending time in our rooms instead of the sunshine, and eating out since who wants to eat with the smell or stale urine in their nose and mouth. In the restaurant they food was always plentiful and well prepared but I would say that the presentation would be off putting for many British travellers. Meats and stews are cooked with the bones which give great flavour, but we are used to them being removed before serving. Also if it says beef it means anything from a cow might be included, liver, tail etc. Fish is served with skin and bones still attached and presentation at the buffet includes the heads and tails. We were happy with the food but fussy eaters would struggle. One member of staff in reception was particularly unhelpful on a number of occasions and finally lied to us about late check out. Final thing is if you decide to walk outside the hotel be prepared to be bombarded by people who are very pleasant but wont take no for an answer and will rip you off given the slightest opportunity.
Nothing except the location.
Almost everything. This hotel is rated 5 stars and is applying a 5 stars prices but has nothing for a 5 stars hotel. The room furniture was all old, broken and dusty. The bed matress was so dirty, the linen as well and had to ask 3 times to get it changed. I have taken pictures that I can share with you. This is seriously unacceptable. I don't know if they are keeping their worst rooms for booking.com or if all the rooms are like that.
Maybe just food
Cold no heating very old furniture Nothing like the pictures
Location to the beach and the staff are very polite
Hotel desperately needs to be updated the room decor is outdated, carpets are dusty, bathroom has mould growing and the breakfast is average.
Breakfast was excellent
Hotel cannot be rated as 5 star A/C was not working Response to fix A/C was very slow and ineffective Only one elevator working and then failed until we left No booklet or any type of information on the room whatsoever, not even the number of the front desk
